Abstract

The psychological well-being of online gamers has gotten more attention as online games have become recognized in the e-sport field. Hence, identifying the psychological status of gamers is essential to ensure their well-being is at optimum, and further interventions can be strategized if needed. The identified psychological profiles include psychological well-being, duration of play, and internet gaming disorder. A total of 221 Muslim online gamers from various e-sport centers and academies in Malaysia participated in this study. The psychological well-being was measured using Psychological Well-Being Scale, while IGD was measured using the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form. The results indicated that the frequency of playing online games and daily play duration were associated with gamers' psychological well-being. Furthermore, preoccupation and withdrawal symptoms of gaming disorder were significant in predicting psychological well-being. The importance of this study for Muslim online gamers is to increase their awareness on the continued interweaving of psychological well-being and internet gaming disorder experience, so that early mental distress can be best addressed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena banyaknya siswa yang mengalami berbagai masalah berupa tekanan, konflik yang tidak dapat di entaskan karena siswa kurang memiliki strategi coping stress. Strategi coping stress yaitu suatu upaya atau usaha yang dilakukan individu untuk mengentaskan masalah yang berhubungan dengan stress. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengenai strategi coping stress bisa melalui pemberian layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling. Bimbingan dan Konseling ialah pemberian bantuan yang diberikan oleh guru BK kepada siswa untuk memabantu dalam memecahkan masalah serta menjadikan siswa mandiri. Untuk memberikan layanan yang maksimal maka guru BK harus menggunakan media sehingga siswa mudah mengerti materi yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keefektifan media ular tangga untuk meningkatkan strategi coping stress siswa. Hasil penelitian ini di awali dengan pengolahan data untuk uji validitas dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment  dengan rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan uji alpha Cronbach dengan memperoleh hasil 0,897 yang berklasifikasi tinggi. Uji coba media ular tangga mendapatkan rata-rata pada pretest 72,5 dan posttest mendapatkan rata-rata 100 hal tersebut menunjukan adanya peningkatakan cara pandang sebelum menggunakan media ular tangga dan setelah menggunakan media ular tangga sehingga dinyatakan memberikan pengaruh

Abstract

Academic burnout among FKIP UHAMKA students will be analyzed based on gender. A descriptive approach is utilized in the quantitative research methodology. A sample of 307 students was chosen from the 6,544 total pupils who participated in the research. According to the study's findings, academic burnout can be classified according to a person's gender. The researchers discovered that male students fell into the low category, scoring 75% in sub-variable exhaustions, 61% in cynicism, and 50% in inefficacy. Additionally, the majority of female students fall into the low category, with percentage values in the subvariables for weariness (76%), cynicism (63%), and inefficacy (64%) all falling into the low range. Thus, it can be said that both male and female students at FKIP UHAMKA have low levels of academic burnout.
