Abstract

IT investment can help in achieving the vision of an organization. Good IT governance is carried out so that risks and losses can be prevented and at the same time to ensure that IT investments provide returns as expected. This study aims to measure the capability level and determine the gap between expectations and the current conditions of IT governance implementation. The research location was conducted at IAIN Salatiga. Capability level measurement in this study focused on Academic Information System (Siakad) services. This study used a quantitative descriptive method, while the data were obtained from interviews and questionnaires that had been adjusted to the domain in the Cobit 5 Framework. The results of this study indicated that the Siakad capability level at IAIN Salatiga has reached level 1, level 2, and level 3 of 18 sub identified domains. However, there is still a gap between the capability level and the expectation in all sub-domains. The biggest gap is in the evaluated, direct, and monitor domains. This suggested that the IT governance of Siakad requires important improvements. Investasi IT dapat membantu dalam pencapaian visi dari sebuah organisasi. Abstract

The Cat 16M Grader is a heavy equipment that is widely used to support mining operations. The development of this heavy equipment is required to use biodesel fuel (B30). The problem with B30 fuel is oxidation which results in the formation of sediment and can cause filter clogging. Filter clogging can affect engine power and filter replacement time. From these problems, the researcher proposed to modify the number of sediment separator core holes to reduce the filter clogging rate on the Cat 16M grader. Modified number of sediment separator core holes are 40, 20 and 10 holes with 8 mm hole dimension. Data was collected experimentally by implementing the modified sediment separator core on a Cat 16M grader for 250 hours of operation. The research resulted in the number of sediment separator core holes 10 at 250 hours of operation producing the highest sediment volume of 92 ml, the filter with the lowest clogging rate and the lowest fuel pressure difference. In addition, using the number of sediment separator cores 10 at 250 hours of operation produces the highest engine power, the highest filter clogging efficiency and has a high economic value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of bank-specific factors, industry-specific factors, macroeconomic factors, and income diversification on the performance of 36 commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A quantitative method is applied, using secondary data from financial statements of commercial banks for the period 2018-2022. The dependent variables measured are Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Interest Margin (NIM). Panel regression analysis is used to examine the influence of these factors on bank performance. The findings indicate that asset quality and inflation have a significant impact on ROA and ROE, while the loan ratio significantly affects ROE. Meanwhile, factors such as asset share, deposit share, and loan share do not show a significant influence. For the NIM variable, inflation and average exchange rates have a significant impact. This study is limited by the use of secondary data, which reflects only the conditions of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, so the results cannot be generalized to all banks. Practically, this study can assist bank management in understanding the factors influencing financial performance and in making informed decisions based on relevant macroeconomic conditions. This study offers a novel contribution in identifying the relationship between bank-specific and macroeconomic factors with banking performance in Indonesia. Keyword: bank performance, bank-spesific, industry-spesific, macroeconomic, income diversification.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the loading speed of the website, identify the factors that affect the test results, and suggest improvements that can be made to improve the loading speed performance of the IAIN Salatiga website. The research was conducted in four main stages, namely: website traffic observation, designing website performance testing scenarios, website performance testing, and website testing data analysis. Based on the test results, one of the causes of the poor performance assessment is because most of the load time is used to display the largest content on the website. Implementing images with the right size and format can improve website performance. The limitation of this study is that the test uses a free version of the application which has limitations in displaying test results. The results of this study can be used by academics and practitioners in the field of website evaluation studies and the findings of this study can be a concern for website developers in building a website.

Abstract

The Naga community, a traditional Sundanese group living in Neglasari Village, West Java, utilizes plant diversity, including bamboo, for their daily needs. This research aims to investigate the diversity, utilization, and management of bamboo among the Naga community. The study employs a narrative literature review method focusing on the analysis and synthesis of various relevant literature sources to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic. There are seven species and varieties of bamboo in the Naga community's gardens, namely Bambusa vulgaris (haur hejo and haur koneng), Gigantochloa apus (awi tali), Gigantochloa pseudoarundinacea (awi gede/awi gombong), Gigantochloa atter (awi temen), Gigantochloa atroviolacea (awi hideung), and Schizostachyum iraten (awi tamiyang). These bamboos are used for various purposes, such as building materials, traditional musical instruments, cooking utensils, and agricultural tools. The Naga community manages bamboo traditionally, which includes land preparation, planting, maintenance, pest control, harvesting, and utilization. These practices have contributed to the conservation of bamboo, essential for the sustainability of their livelihoods. The diverse knowledge and management practices of bamboo by the Naga community highlight the importance of support in preserving their cultural heritage and traditional knowledge. The findings provide insights and recommendations for sustainable bamboo management and conservation in Indonesia and globally. The government and relevant stakeholders are expected to support community conservation efforts by providing access to modern technology and resources
