Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding means infantsare only breastfed without anyother additional foods, neither fluids or solids, as it is the best food for babies because it contains a complete and perfect nutrients and also supplies antibodies and anti-infective substances that can prevent them from various diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with The Exclusive Breastfeeding in the work area of Puskesmas Ketaping Padang Pariaman. This study used survey method with cross sectional study design with infant population aged 4 to 12 months. The sample size is 93 babies’ mothers. The study was conducted from 15th to 25thof August in 2004 by using a quessioner. After data had been collected and then manually processed and computerized, then it was presented in the distribution table and cross table and used a statistical tests (Chi-Square). The results showed that the level of knowledge, education, employment status and support from the babies’ mothers’ families is quite low, less than 50%. And there is a significant relationship between knowledge and the Exclusive Breastfeeding (p = 0,01), education with the Exclusive Breastfeeding (p = 0,04), work status with the Exclusive Breastfeeding (p = 0,01), and family support with the Exclusive Breastfeeding (p = 0.01). So thatthese infant’s mother need intensively to be counseled and approached in family leveland so as the cooperation from the officers in the In the information delivery about The Exclusive Breastfeeding.

Abstract

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause disease in humans and animals. In humans, it usually causes respiratory tract infections, ranging from the common cold to serious diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Vaccination is the administration of vaccines in order to actively generate or increase a person's immunity against certain diseases, so that if one day a certain disease will not get sick or experience mild illness and will not become a source of transmission. This study aims to determine the "Relationship of Anxiety Levels in the Elderly with Readiness to Give Covid-19 Vaccination in Nagari Aia Tajun, Lubuk Alung District".This type of research is an analytic survey using the "Cros Sectional Study" research design which is a study in which the anxiety level variable and the dependent variable are Covid-19 Vaccination Readiness. In this study, the sampling technique used was population based, by using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling method with a minimum sample of 30 people in Nagari Aia Tajun, Lubuk Alung District.The results showed that the elderly who experienced normal anxiety who were not ready for vaccination were 7 people (6.3%) and 21 people were ready for the vaccine (21.7%). For anxiety who are not ready to be vaccinated as many as 2 people (2.7%) and 10 people (9.3%) are ready for Covid-19 vaccination. results Based on statistical tests using cross tabulation using the chi-square test, the p value = 0.563 (p value < 0.05).So it can be concluded, there is no significant relationship between the level of anxiety of the elderly against the administration of Covid-19 vaccination in the elderly Nagari Aia Tajun, Lubuk Alung District.

Abstract

Abstract: Diarrhea is an infectious disease that causes death in infants and toddlers. The high rate of diarrhea in toddlers is due to the lack of anticipation in the management of diarrhea, low education and ignorance of mothers treating diarrhea. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on mother's knowledge in the management of diarrhea in toddlers in Singguling Village, Working Area of the Lubuk Alung Health Center in 2025. Health education through video is one of the media to improve toddlers. This research was conducted on May 20, 2025. The type of research used was Quasy Experiment design with one group pretest and posttest design. design. The sample of this research is mothers who have toddlers totaling 20 people. Data processing using computerization with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average knowledge of mothers in managing diarrhea in infants before being given health education (pretest) was low. While the average knowledge of mothers after being given health education (posttest) was high, the results of the statistical test obtained a p value (0.000) <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of providing health education on mother's knowledge in managing diarrhea in toddlers in the Lubuk Alung Working Area. It is hoped that health workers can improve services in providing information using video media to mothers who have children under five in diarrhea management.Keywords : Diarrhea Management, Health Education, Mother, Toddler.
