Abstract

This research is entitled The Influence of Entrepreneurship Education and the Social Environment on Interest in Entrepreneurship in Students of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of West Sumatra. This research is motivated by the need for students in the faculty of health sciences to be able to create their own job opportunities with the abilities or education they have received. No need to wait for the relevant agency to open job vacancies. This research uses a quantitative type of research. The data taken was primary data by distributing questionnaires to students at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of West Sumatra. This research carried out research instrument tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests using SPSS version 21. The research results stated that looking at the test results that had been carried out proved that both variables had a significant effect partially or simultaneously, and it could also be seen that the Adjusted R Square was 0.403 or amounting to 40.3%. This means that the variable interest in entrepreneurship is influenced by entrepreneurship education and the social environment and the remaining 50.7% is influenced by other variables outside of this research variable.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover on profitability in MSMEs in Pariaman City. The background to this title is that many MSMEs in Pariaman City do not have bookkeeping that is in accordance with accounting standards so that the level of profit obtained cannot be calculated in detail. collect This research uses a quantitative type of research. The data taken is secondary data by conducting direct interviews with business owners, by preparing questions and looking at bookkeeping records made by MSME actors. This research carries out classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing using SPSS version 21. The results of the research state that looking at the results of the tests that have been carried out proves that both variables partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability and it can also be seen that the Adjusted R Square is 0.435. This means that 43.5% of the Profitability variable is influenced by cash turnover and the remaining 56.5% of receivables turnover is influenced by other variables outside of this research variable.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of poverty and the prevalence of stunting on the human development index in West Sumatra. This research is motivated by the large number of cases of poverty in West Sumatra, especially remote areas such as the Mentawai Islands Regency, which has resulted in the prevalence of stunting increasing and affecting the Human Development Index in West Sumatra. This research uses a quantitative type of research using secondary data. This research carries out classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing using SPSS. Looking at the results of the tests that have been carried out, it proves that poverty has no significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) with a significant value of 0.651 > 0.05, while the stunting prevalence variable has a significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) with a significant value of 0.003 < 0.05 , The results of poverty testing and stunting prevalence simultaneously have a significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) with a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05. This shows that poverty and stunting prevalence can predict information regarding the Human Development Index (HDI) 0.511 or 51.1%, while the remaining 0.489 or 48.9% is influenced by other factors not included in this research.

Abstract

In this digital age, digital transformation has become a challenge for many businesses, especially SMEs. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are projected to benefit from digital transformation. The study will look at how digital transformation affects SME performance in Pariaman City. The study employs quantitative methodologies, namely double linear regression analytic techniques. The research data was gathered via a survey of 100 SMEs in Pariaman City. The study found that digital transformation had no substantial positive influence on SME performance. The findings of this study imply that digital transformation cannot be a one-stop solution for boosting the performance of SMEs. Governments should provide more assistance to SMEs in implementing digital transitions. SME actors must develop their digital abilities in order to make the best use of digital technologies. This study is designed to help the development of SMEs in Pariaman City and better understanding of the influence of digital transformation on SME performance.

Abstract

Abstract: Diarrhea is an infectious disease that causes death in infants and toddlers. The high rate of diarrhea in toddlers is due to the lack of anticipation in the management of diarrhea, low education and ignorance of mothers treating diarrhea. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on mother's knowledge in the management of diarrhea in toddlers in Singguling Village, Working Area of the Lubuk Alung Health Center in 2025. Health education through video is one of the media to improve toddlers. This research was conducted on May 20, 2025. The type of research used was Quasy Experiment design with one group pretest and posttest design. design. The sample of this research is mothers who have toddlers totaling 20 people. Data processing using computerization with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average knowledge of mothers in managing diarrhea in infants before being given health education (pretest) was low. While the average knowledge of mothers after being given health education (posttest) was high, the results of the statistical test obtained a p value (0.000) <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of providing health education on mother's knowledge in managing diarrhea in toddlers in the Lubuk Alung Working Area. It is hoped that health workers can improve services in providing information using video media to mothers who have children under five in diarrhea management.Keywords : Diarrhea Management, Health Education, Mother, Toddler.

Abstract

The background of this research is that improving the quality of health services in addition to increasing accessibility, also aims to improve the quality of health services provided. This includes education and training of medical staff, provision of appropriate medical facilities and equipment, and implementation of high standards of health care. Entrepreneurship course is a general subject at the University of West Sumatra. The Entrepreneurship course offers an opportunity to change the mindset of students to start creating jobs instead of being employees or casual workers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the interest and impact of education on students' interest in becoming entrepreneurs after graduation. The research method presented is quantitative, namely data expressed in the form of numbers or data that can be calculated. The results showed that if students' interest in entrepreneurship increased by 1%, the willingness to become entrepreneurs would increase by 21.2%. The results of the t test show that knowledge and skills increase by 1%, so that students' willingness to do something increases by 19%. The conclusion of this study is how the entrepreneurial spirit of students can be developed in various ways, including: a. through formal education, b. entrepreneurship seminar, c. Entrepreneurship education by inviting young entrepreneur mentors, d. self-taught, e. equip students with technical and transversal skills, f.Give students an attitude from looking for a job to opening a job.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam industri perbankan telah mendorong lembaga keuangan untuk menghadirkan layanan berbasis teknologi yang mampu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan pengalaman nasabah. Salah satu inovasi digital yang dikembangkan oleh Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) adalah BYOND by BSI, yaitu aplikasi mobile banking yang dirancang untuk memberikan kemudahan akses terhadap berbagai layanan keuangan syariah. Namun, keberhasilan layanan digital banking tidak hanya ditentukan oleh keberadaan teknologi, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh kualitas layanan mobile banking dan tingkat kemudahan penggunaan aplikasi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh mobile banking dan kemudahan penggunaan BYOND by BSI terhadap kepuasan nasabah Bank Syariah Indonesia di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kausal asosiatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden pengguna BYOND by BSI yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak statistik melalui pengujian asumsi klasik, uji t parsial, uji F simultan, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel mobile banking berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah dengan nilai signifikansi 0,008. Selain itu, variabel kemudahan penggunaan BYOND by BSI juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Secara simultan, mobile banking dan kemudahan penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,402 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen mampu menjelaskan 40,2% variasi kepuasan nasabah. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa peningkatan kualitas layanan digital dan penyediaan aplikasi yang mudah digunakan menjadi faktor penting bagi BSI dalam meningkatkan pengalaman dan kepuasan nasabah.
