Abstract

Life skills are one of the components in forming positive youth development. The purpose of this research is to find out intentionally structured programs that are widely used to improve life skills through out-of-school activities, to find out about out-of-school programs used to enhance life skills which are included in intentionally structured programs and to find out the results of intentionally structured programs on improving life skills through out of school activities, the research method in this study used systematic literature review which is a literature review method that identifies, assesses, and interprets all findings on a research topic, to answer predetermined research questions. In this study, researchers used 30 Final Paper journals to review 210 journals taken from 4 databases: Taylor & Francis, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Sage. The results showed that participation in structured school activities programs was intentional in its application. Can produce quality programs where this can contribute to youth development in a positive direction. This shows that the Intentionally structured program that is implemented in out-of-school activities in its implementation can influence positive youth development; this can be seen from the increase in the elements 5C elements in (PYD) namely Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character and Caring Or Compassion.

Abstract

Background: Bullying is a persistent issue in primary education, impacting children’s physical, emotional, and social development. Despite efforts to create positive school environments, bullying continues in various forms, including physical, psychological, and cyberbullying. Many prevention programs are reactive rather than proactive, focusing on punishment instead of fostering positive behavior from an early age. Objective: This study aims to develop and evaluate a physical education (PE) based bullying prevention model for primary school students. The model integrates physical activity with social-emotional learning (SEL) to promote a safer, inclusive school environment. Methods: A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted to examine research on PE based bullying prevention interventions. Studies were selected based on their focus on primary school students, PE, and bullying behaviors. The review followed the PRISMA framework for methodological rigor. Results: The SLR highlights the effectiveness of PE in reducing bullying by promoting positive social behaviors. Key factors include the role of PE teachers, cooperative learning strategies, and SEL integration. Well-structured PE interventions were found to reduce bullying and enhance social skills like empathy and conflict resolution. However, few studies provided a comprehensive PE-based bullying prevention model. Conclusion: This study proposes a PE-based bullying prevention model that integrates physical activity with SEL, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment. Further research is needed to assess its long-term impact and applicability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of Artificial Intelligence Technology (AIT) in higher education using the Rasch Model. This study applied a mixed-method approach with a convergent design. The participants were 138 students from a higher education institution in Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through a 14-item questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the Rasch Model to examine item reliability, person ability, with response patterns. Qualitative data were obtained from open-ended responses to explore students’ experiences with expectations regarding AIT use. The findings showed that AIT had been widely adopted for both academic with non-academic purposes, with 82.6% of students reporting regular use in learning activities. Rasch analysis indicated good instrument reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.87) with revealed that students perceived AIT as most useful for completing assignments efficiently, while critical evaluation of AI-generated content was the most difficult aspect. Open-ended responses highlighted that students expected AIT to provide more personalized feedback with adaptive learning support. Although internet connectivity remained a challenge, the more distinctive issue was students’ concern about overdependence on AI with reduced independent thinking. It can be concluded that AIT has been substantially integrated into student activities in higher education, but future development should focus on ethical use, critical literacy, with intelligent personalization.
