Abstract

Balinese jewelery from the royal era is still popular and has also been developed by several jewelery craftsmen, with existing and new designs and motifs, Balinese handicrafts with manuk dewata motifs and the addition of Balinese ornaments, where the manuk dewata motif has a different philosophy. Strong with Balinese Hindu culture and customs. The method used is descriptive research which aims to describe, record, analyze and interpret current conditions that occur in the field. Types and approaches are very important in the preparation of research, while the type of research used is qualitative research. Manuk Dewata itself, especially in Bali, is used as a symbol in the Ngaben ceremony because it is believed to be a spirit that conveys immortality, so Balinese craftsmen make humung jewelry designs with manuk dewata motifs with a combination of other Balinese ornaments, thus creating a work of jewelry made of bamboo made of gold and gold. silver, from the royal era until now is called and known by the manuk dewata motif. The manuk dewata motif was requested because this motif looks classic and timeless, it even looks more dignified for those who wear jewelry with this manuk dewata motif.

Abstract

EKSISTENSI PERHIASAN EMAS DI MASA PANDEMI COVID 19 I Putu Sinar Wijaya Institut Desain dan Bisnis Bali sinarwijaya1@gmail.com ABSTRAK Bisnis kerajinan perhiasan emas di Bali di masa pandemi sekarang masih sangat diminanti dan memberi peluang para pengerajin membuat perhiasan emas,, sesuai dengan keterampilan pengerajin dan pakem yang sudah ada dikembangkan kembali sesuai dengan zaman dan permintaan, serta mempertimbangkan nilai keindahan. Perhiasan biasanya terbuat dari emas ataupun perak dan terdiri dari berbagai macam bentuk mulai dari cincin, kalung, gelang, liontin dan lain-lain. hasil kerajinan yang sangat diminati pada masa pandemi, model yang sederhana dan berat yang tidak terlalu besar sehingga harga terjangkau, disamping itu perhiasan emas khususnya dibali menjadi asesoris pada waktu hari raya, sembahyang maupun menghadiri undangan, model-model perhiasan yang ada dibali masih mempertahankan model klasik dan simpel. Metode menggunakan jenis penelitian survei dan analisis. Penelitian survei digunakan untuk mengetahui produk dan ragam hias produk perhiasan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokmentasi. Sedangkan analisis isi bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristk isi dan inferensi dari isi. Penelitian ini berada di Jalan Sedap malam gang mawar no 3, Kesiman. Perhiasan mempunyai bentuk beragam mulai dari bulat, hati, kotak, dan lain lain. Perhiasan sekarang ini di masa pandemic masih menjadi daya Tarik tersendiri dikalangan tertentu, di bali khususnya berdekatan dengan hari raya besar agama hindu Galungan dan kuningan, banyak masysrakat membali atau pun memperbaiki perhiasan emas-nya Kerajinan emas dengan motif bali masih sangat eksisten dimasa pandemi seperti sekarang. Serta minat masyarakat terhadan kerajinan perhiasan emas masih tinggi. Disamping sebabai asesoris dapat pula sebaigai investasi jangka panjang melihat dari harga per gram emas masih sangat tinggi, serta sewaktu-waktu merakak naik secara drastis. dapat juga sebagai pelestarian warisan budaya bali, Kata kunci : Bisnis, Kerainan. Abstract

Sculpture is one of the arts that requires special skills from a sculptor, sculptor or usually known as a sculpture craftsman. Usually makes works from rock and wood; nowadays, various materials can be used, such as temple stone or volcanic lava stone. Sculptors choose one material to be made into a statue, and it becomes a characteristic of their work. One of the young Balinese sculptors who continues to restlessly search for and find new ideas in sculpture is Wayan Jana. With aesthetic theory being the choice to dissect this sculpture, where beauty is the benchmark in examining this sculpture, starting from composition, proportion, and space, the sculpture that is used as the research material is a work with a modern style seems elastic and dynamic. The sculptures of artist I Wayan Jana have a very modern style, displaying the forms of living creatures such as humans and animals. The style displayed distorts the original form into the form of the artist's own imagination. With such compositions, the resulting sculptures are inseparable from the aesthetic values ​​​​presented in each work created. Although most of Jana's works this time talk about love, he is able to maintain the forms of his work so as not to become verbal. Jana's works that seem elastic and dynamic still provide space for the imagination of the viewer. The images that appear are very dependent on the experience and strength of the viewer's imagination.
