Abstract

Klambir 5 village is an underdeveloped area in North Sumatra in the current era of technology, technology is developing rapidly in the current era, along with the development of technology, there are impacts. Control of electronic equipment can be done with smart bathroom applications (smart badroom) controlling electronic equipment for water treatment is a very important requirement in the life of all living things, especially humans. In primary needs, water is used for drinking, washing, bathing and so on. In addition, water can also be used as a hydroelectric power plant, rice field irrigation system, transportation and others. The purpose of this study is to design a device that can control the output of water in the ablution tap and control the filling of the water reservoir. In designing this tool using Arduino Mega 2560 as data processor and keypad as well as water float sensor and Infrared Proximity Sensor as input and DC pump, relay and solenoid valve as output. With the design of this tool, it can fill the water reservoir automatically and can control the output of water in the ablution water faucet

Abstract

Stunting is one of the problems being faced by Kotapari Village. The absence of an information system about stunting that is easily accessible to the public is one of the aspects that has slowed down the resolution of the stunting problem. To accelerate the resolution of the stunting problem, it is considered necessary to have an information system that can help the community easily and quickly. Methods of data collection is done by interviews and observation. In this study the system development method used is waterfall with the supporting software used are PHP and MySQL. Seeing the reality above, it is deemed necessary to build a website-based information system that is useful to facilitate Kotapari Village and the Community in working to resolve the stunting problem in Serdang Bedagai Regency. Apart from being able to provide stunting information to the community, this application also has a child health check menu related to child growth and a discussion menu that can be used by the community to communicate with Kotapari Village.

Abstract

In the hyper-competitive automotive industry ecosystem, distribution branches become the frontline vulnerable to shocks, including those caused by human resource (HR) fluctuations. High turnover intention is no longer just an HR problem, but a systemic threat to operational continuity and supply chain resilience. This study holistically dissects the strategic role of Human Resource Management (HRM) digitalization as a tool to strengthen employee retention, and how the resulting HR stability acts as a catalyst for improving work productivity and Supply Chain Management (SCM) performance. Using a qualitative explanatory case study approach at PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Binjai Branch. Data was collected through triangulation: in-depth interviews with 7 informants from strategic to operational levels, participant observation, and analysis of performance documents (2020-2023). Data was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The implementation of an integrated HRIS (covering e-recruitment, e-learning, digital performance appraisal, and employee self-service) successfully created a virtuous cycle. Digitalization fostered perceptions of procedural fairness, career transparency, and service efficiency, which significantly reduced turnover intention by up to 15%. This HR stability directly impacted: (1) Operational Productivity: A 12% increase in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in the warehouse area; (2) SCM Performance: An 8% surge in on-time delivery to dealers and a 10% decrease in error rate in spare parts handling. HRM digitalization is proven to be not merely an administrative efficiency project, but a strategic investment in building resilience. By stabilizing the "heart" of operations, namely HR, the branch was able to secure its business "lifeline," namely a reliable and productive supply chain. This study offers a new conceptual model about the interconnection between HR technology, work psychology, and logistics operational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of compensation, leadership style, and work motivation on employee performance. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The research population consisted of all employees at the study object, and a census sampling technique was applied, resulting in 60 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that compensation, leadership style, and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, leadership style and work motivation significantly affect employee performance, while compensation does not show a significant effect. The coefficient of determination reveals that the contribution of the independent variables to employee performance is relatively limited, suggesting that other factors beyond the research model also influence employee performance. These findings imply that improving employee performance requires a greater emphasis on effective leadership practices and the enhancement of work motivation.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of competence, compensation, and workload on employee performance at PT Waruna Shipyard Indonesia. The population of this study consisted of 413 employees, with a sample of 81 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. This study used primary quantitative data collected through questionnaires and processed using SPSS version 24. The analytical technique employed was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that competence, compensation, and workload, both partially and simultaneously, had positive and significant effects on employee performance at PT Waruna Shipyard Indonesia. Competence had a regression coefficient of 0.572, a t-value of 4.052, and a significance value of 0.000. Compensation had a regression coefficient of 0.244, a t-value of 2.975, and a significance value of 0.004. Workload had a regression coefficient of 0.247, a t-value of 2.542, and a significance value of 0.013. The F-test results showed an F-value of 142.478 with a significance value of 0.000. The t-table value was 1.991 and the F-table value was 2.723, indicating that t-count was greater than t-table and F-count was greater than F-table with a significance value below 0.05. Thus, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, indicating a significant effect. These findings indicated that hypotheses H1, H2, H3, and H4 were accepted and empirically proven, as the results were consistent with the proposed hypotheses. The most dominant variable influencing employee performance was competence, as it had the highest regression coefficient and t-value. Approximately 84.1% of employee performance was explained by competence, compensation, and workload, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors. Employee performance had a very strong relationship with competence, compensation, and workload, as indicated by an R value of 0.921.
