Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Test the feasibility of student worksheets based on the practice of Problem based learning models in social studies (2) Test the effectiveness of student worksheets based on Problem based learning models for changes in student learning outcomes in social studies. The research on the development of this learning media is based on the ADDIE model. The research subjects were seventh grade students of SMPIT Insan Permata Bojonegoro. The selection of subjects by random or random sampling was class VII A as a treatment class with 30 children and class VII B as a control class with 30 children. The results of this study indicate. First, teaching materials in the form of worksheets for social studies -based practicum students in PBL models according to learning experts fall into the criteria of "feasible". According to the material expert on the contents of the material on the social studies student worksheets Integrated practicum based on the results of validation stated "very feasible". And the validation results from media experts get the category "feasible". In general, student worksheets fall into the "very feasible" category. The effectiveness test shows that there are significant differences between classes using LKPD and classes that do not use. This is indicated by the average posttest values between the experimental class and the control class which also differ significantly.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: (1) Describe the implementation of the mind mapping method, and (2) Describe the improvement of activities and learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS). This research adopts a classroom action research (CAR) design. Based on the results of the classroom action research aimed at improving the process and learning outcomes of students, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) The implementation of the mind mapping method in Social Studies for Grade IX students at SMPN 7 Bojonegoro involves several stages: (a) Ensure that the main theme is placed in the middle, (b) From the main theme, determine the main branches that are still related to the main theme, (c) Determine sub-topics as "branches" derived from the main branches, (d) Creatively use images, symbols, codes, and dimensions in your mind map, (e) Use lines to connect the Central Topic with the Main Topic and Sub-Topics, and (f) Develop the Mind Map according to your style. (2) The implementation of the mind mapping learning method for Grade IX students at SMPN 7 Bojonegoro in the academic year 2023/2024 can enhance their activities and learning outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of asynchronous learning conducted by the Tadris IPS study program at IAI Al-Fatimah Bojonegoro. Asynchronous learning refers to virtual (online) face-to-face learning facilitated through the internet. It is also commonly referred to as online learning. The evaluation of asynchronous learning was carried out using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. This evaluation research employed a simple experimental method by distributing questionnaires to lecturers and students of Tadris IPS, who have been using asynchronous learning for the past two semesters. The research data were collected through a questionnaire completed by 30% of the 37 students enrolled in the Tadris IPS study program. The evaluation focused on the level of agreement or disagreement among students, as beneficiaries of asynchronous learning, regarding the content, the presentation of materials, the adequacy of resources in supporting the quality of asynchronous learning, and the achievement of learning objectives. The results indicate that asynchronous learning is sufficiently effective and can be continued for future academic sessions. It was also proven that students are able to comprehend the materials presented, meaning that learning objectives were achieved. However, several shortcomings were identified, including the limited use of visual content such as images, videos, and audio, which could enhance learning references. Furthermore, there is a need for policies to support the provision of paid applications to improve the resources available for asynchronous learning
