Abstract

Anxiety is a state of apprehension or worry that indicates that something bad will happen soon. And anxiety will turn into abnormal if the level does not match the proportions of the threat, or if it comes without any cause, that is, if not a form of response to the environment that will change. In the extreme, an anxiety will interfere with our daily activities. The aim of ths research is to know: (1) the level of theanxiety that students of arabic intensive program experienced when they speak arabic, (2) the factors that cause this anxiety when speak arabic that the students of arabic intensive programe experienced, and (3) the strategy on dealing this anxiety by the students of arabic intensive programe. This research use blended-method (qualitative and quantitative). This research is held in Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Bahasa Institut Agama Islam Darussalam (IAIDA) Blokagung Banyuwangi. The subjects of this research are the students who experienced the anxiety on speaking arabic in the arabic at UPT Bahasa IAIDA. They all are choosen by using purposive sampling. The researcher measure the level anxiety by using FLAS (Foreign Language Anxiety Scale) while observing and interviewing all of the students of arabic intensive program to identify the factor that cause the anxiety on speaking arabic. The researcher doing the observation by interviewing intensively and take field note. Intensive interview to the studens is used to know the factors of the anxiety and srudents strategy on dealing the anxiety. Meanwhile, field note is used to get the more accurate data. Based on the result found in the field, Researcher find out that the level anxiety the students have on speaking arabis is about 65% and categorized as atmedium level. While the factors that cause the anxiety on the students arabic speaking skill, in general, are divided into two categories; internal factors and external factors, and in the case of this research, the reseracher found the internal factors that are: worries on doing errors, lack of self confidence and inability to arrange the words into sentences. As for the external factors that are: the absence of supporting environment and the lack of motivation from students parrents. As for the strategy that students do, that are: preparring on learning material before entering the class and find partner in speaking arabic continously.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation of biah lughawiyyah to increase maharah kalam. This research method uses qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that the application of biah lughowiyyah is quite strict, starting from dawn to 23:00 WIB (after evening prayers), in its implementation supervised by language spies appointed by the management. In addition to being required to speak Arabic, mutakhossis is required to memorize 10 words of mufrodat; 5 from isim sentences and 5 from fi'il sentences. In learning, the teacher conveys the material using Arabic. For mutakhossis who violate the obligation to speak Arabic will be sanctioned and for active rooms and mutakhossis who win will receive prizes. The impact of biah lughowiyyah in increasing maharah kalam is that mutakhossis are trained to speak as best they can and are not ashamed to be wrong, a forum for repeating and applying the memorized mufrodat, knowing which sentence structures are right and wrong, sparking enthusiasm for other mutakhossis in speaking Arabic, and remembering and search for unknown mufrodates.

Abstract

The aim of this research: First, to describe the forms of implementing ice breaking to increase interest in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah Al Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi. Second, to find out how to prepare for the application of ice-breaking to increase interest in learning Arabic at Madrasa Aliyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi. Third, to find out the evaluation of the application of ice-breaking to increase interest in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, their research design uses inductive data analysis (meaning that specific data is then used to draw general conclusions). The data collection used is by interview, observation, and documentation based on research results and discussion. The result of the research shows that the application of ice breaking at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi is very effective in increasing interest in learning Arabic. In addition, this study also concluded that: 1). there are 3 forms of ice breaking used in Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amiriyyah to increase interest in learning Arabic, namely the type clapping, guessing pictures, and singing. 2). Things that need to be prepared to carry out ice-breaking activities include: a). Determine the form of ice breaking that will be used, b). Prepare ice-breaking materials as needed. c). Prepare media or tools to be used, d). Trial, e). Consider interactions with students, f). Involve all students, g). Pay attention to the length of the times or duration of ice-breaking, h). Make sure students feel comfortable. i). Do a review. 3) evaluation of the application of Ice breaking is carried out once every three weeks in oral or written form.

Abstract

The community service (PkM) that will be carried out will be organized in groups involving several lecturers according to their fields. The target of this program is to provide intensive assistance to improve writing skills according to good and correct Arabic language rules at the Darullughah Al Arabiyyah dormitory and apply it in the simplest form of writing media, namely wall magazines. The objectives of this community service mentoring (PkM) include: (a) Providing Arabic writing training to the mentors in accordance with correct lughawiyah rules (b) Carrying out special mentoring, especially in mastering Arabic writing skills according to correct lughawiyah rules (c ) Increasing the learning motivation of female students to deepen their Arabic writing skills according to correct lughawiyah rules (d) Providing guidance on creating wall magazine concepts at the Darussalam Islamic boarding school using Arabic as well as creating the content. The method uses the ABCD method using a genre process approach in learning writing which is a combination of the process approach and the genre approach. Through the Writing Skills Mentoring activities with an Intensive Program at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Blokagung Banyuwangi, changes can be seen that have occurred among the Darullughah al Arabiyyah female students, including: (a) Increasing the quality of the female students' writing (b) Increasing the motivation of the female students to learn Arabic writing (c) Increasing the confidence of the students at the Darullughah Al Arabiyyah dormitory to write Arabic writing in various genres of writing. From the assistance program which was carried out for approximately 3 months from January to March 2023, the assistants can conclude that an intensive Arabic writing assistance program is something that must be implemented, considering that a fun writing program will make students more productive in terms of language.

Abstract

إن تدني وتخلف مستوى تحصيل الطلاب في مادة النحو في مدرسة النور الجديد الثانوية الإسلامية بيطان بروبولينجا في أمس الحاجة إلى تحسين جودة التعليم. يهدف هذا البحث إلى قياس فعال استخدام استراتيجية التعليم التوضيحي في تحسين تحصيل الطلاب في مادة النحو في مدرسة النور الجديد الإسلامية بيطان بروبولينجا. اعتمدت منهجية البحث على المنهج الكمي باستخدام التصميم التجريبي، حيث تم استخدام الاختبارين القبلي والبعدي، والمنهج الوصفي باستخدام الملاحظة، والمقابلة، والوثائق كأدوات جمع البيانات. دلت نتائج البحث على وجود ترقية في تحصيل الطلبة باستخدام استراتيجية التعليم التوضيحي. أظهر الاختبار القبلي أن تنيجة الطلبة قدرها [59.4]، معناه منخفض، بينما تم الاختبار البعدي وترقت نتيجة الطلبة وقدرها [84.3]، معناها فعال. النتائج الأساسية لهذا البحث أن استخدام استراتيجية التعليم التوضيحي فعال في مساعدة الطلبة على فهم مادة النحو بشكل أفضل.

Abstract

This study examines how student learning discipline and teacher-student interactions affect Arabic language learning results at SMP Queen Ibnu Sina Genteng in the 2023–2024 academic year. The study uses a pretest-posttest control group and a quasi-experimental approach. Purposive sampling strategies were used to choose 30 students for the experimental group and another 30 students for the control group. The Arabic language learning outcome is the dependent variable, whereas educational interaction and student learning discipline are the independent variables. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann-Whitney U Test (significance level of 0.05) are used to analyze the data from the interaction and learning discipline assessments that are part of the study instruments. The findings show that learning discipline and educational engagement have a major impact on Arabic language learning outcomes. The two variables have a positive association, as indicated by the Paired Sample T-Test's significant value of 0.000 (<0.05). The students performed well, as evidenced by their average Arabic language acquisition outcome of 96.33. To sum up, learning discipline and teacher-student interaction are essential to improving Arabic language learning results at SMP Queen Ibnu Sina Genteng. signifikan interaksi edukatif serta disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Arab . Uji Paired Sample T - Test menampilkan nilai signifikan 0 , 000 ( <0 , 05 ) , sehingga ada ikatan positif antara kedua variabel tersebut . Hasil belajar bahasa Arab rata - rata siswa menggapai 96 , 33 , menampilkan hasil yang baik . Akhirnya , interaksi edukatif guru serta disiplin belajar berfungsi berarti dalam tingkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Arab di SMP Queen Ibnu Sina Genteng

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of website-based e-learning as a solution to improve Arabic writing skills among students. Good writing skills are very important for the development of communication and reasoning abilities, but many students experience difficulties in this area. Website-based e-learning has become an effective alternative because it can be accessed anytime and anywhere, providing flexibility for students to learn independently with guidance from the provided materials. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, involving two groups of students, namely the experimental group that uses a website-based e-learning platform and the control group that uses conventional learning methods. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the improvement in students' writing skills. The research results show that the experimental group using website-based e-learning experienced a significant improvement in writing skills compared to the control group. This indicates that website-based e-learning can be an effective solution in improving writing skills, as it provides an interactive, personalized, and easily accessible learning experience. This research suggests that website-based e-learning can be more widely implemented in the context of education, especially to address the difficulties faced by students in developing Arabic writing skills.
