Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki pengaruh relaksasi aktif di alam bebas melalui program Hiking, terhadap pengendalian emosi siswa, khususnya dalam pengendalian emosi dasar amarah.  Sampel yang dipilih adalah 62 putera dan 16 puteri (dianalisa secara terpisah) mahasiswa semester awal FPOK UPI Bandung. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu, kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Skala amarah terdiri dari 46 Item pernyataan modifikasi dari The Clinical Anger Scale (CAS) yang disusun oleh Snell; Gum; Shuck; dkk (1995). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian selama empat minggu (12 kali pertemuan), kelompok eksperimen putra tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pengendalian amarah dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Sedangkan kelompok eksperimen putri menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pengendalian amarah dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol (p 0.25). Dari hasil studi ini direkomendasikan bahwa, relaksasi aktif di alam bebas melalui program Hiking, dapat diimplementasikan sebagai metode alternatif dalam pengendalian emosi amarah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of massage gun media on RPE (Rated Percived of Exertion) in soccer athletes. This research uses experimental method with one-group pretest posttest design model. The population of this study were Persib Academy athletes, totaling 30 athletes, ranging the age of 16 years. This population was chosen because training was carried out intensively and training was carried out regularly for 4 times/week. 18 athletes of Persib Bandung Academy made the research subject with purposive sampling technique. The procedure of this study is to provide high-intensity training activities using the Yo-Yo Intermittent test. Recovery Test to determine the RPE scale when after the exercise is finished then give some treatment using Massage Gun with a duration of 15 minutes then re-tested RPE. The research instrument used is RPE or Rated Percived Exertion, RPE is a subjective scale used to measure the level of fatigue or perceived effort on an individual's perception of the intensity of work performed, based on the results of data processing, it was found that the massage method using massage guns had an effect on RPE (Rated Percived of Exertion) significantly. Based on the results of the data processing of hypothesis testing that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of Massage Gun significantly affects the decrease in fatigue symbolized by RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion).

Abstract

Background. The reason for this study is the mismatch between theory and reality in the field, where social support from parents and coaches which should tend to be positive in increasing athlete motivation, in practice can actually become pressure and cause stress and loss of motivation. Objectives. This research addresses the understanding of how social interactions between coaches and parents influence the motivation of adolescent swimming athletes. The purpose of this study, to determine the effect of social interactions of coaches and parents on the motivation of adolescent swimming athletes. Methods. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population used was Samudra Swimming Club swimming athletes, the sample of athletes taken was 30 athletes according to the Age Category (KU) of adolescents 10-17 years taken through purposive sampling. This study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire "Motivation to Learn Achievement." Data analysis was done with paired sample T-test. Results. The results showed that the social interaction of coaches and parents had a significant influence on the motivation of adolescent swimming athletes aged 10-17 years at Samudra Swimming Club. The conclusion of this study shows that 58% of athletes are in the moderately mastering category.. Conclusion. This indicates that most athletes feel motivated in swimming lessons thanks to the guidance of coaches and the support of parents who play a role in social interactions to increase their motivation as swimming athletes at Samudra Swimming Club. This study recommends the active role of coaches and parents in supporting the motivation of adolescent swimming athletes.
