Abstract

The research aims at describing the internalization of value education through integrated instruction at MAU-DU STEP-2 IDB Peterongan-Jombang. The data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The results show that the internalization of value education was done through integrated instruction of religious and common knowledge, technology, and language. Inductive instruction was used. The instructional media were printed and electronic media and realia. The evaluation includes  UHT, UTS, UAS, UN, and TA. In addition, some barriers were also found: insufficient classroom and time; and supporting factors are complete laboratory, cooperation with Kemenag and IDB, support from alumni and parents, and conducive environment at the school.

Abstract

Abstract: This research and development aims to 1) find out the needs in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in class VIII; 2) planning the development of a HOTS-based SKI book; 3) knowing the validity of the SKI book development; 4) determine the level of effectiveness of SKI books. This study uses a sequential mixed method approach using the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used validation questionnaires, response questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Negeri 1 Kediri City. The results of research and development show that problems in learning SKI are that SKI books are not complete and are still conventional; no interactive ski books; SKI teachers do not bring up HOTS-oriented SKI learning. Second, the design produced is in the form of a color printed SKI book media equipped with HOTS-based questions, as well as a QR code. Third, the average result of the assessment of material experts, linguists, media experts, and student responses is 3.73. It can be said that the validity level of the HOTS-based SKI book is very high. Fourth, the effectiveness of learning using the HOTS-based SKI book obtained a significant increase in 32 students with an average score of 76 points on the pre-test and 90 on the post-test so that product development can be said to be effective for use in SKI learning. Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui kebutuhan dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) pada kelas VIII; 2) membuat perencanaan pengembangan buku SKI berbasis HOTS; 3) mengetahui validitas pengembangan buku SKI; 4) mengetahui tingkat keefektifan buku SKI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sequential mixed method dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi, angket respon, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Negeri 1 Kota Kediri. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan masalah dalam pembelajaran SKI adalah buku SKI belum lengkap dan masih konvensional; tidak adanya buku SKI yang interaktif; guru SKI kurang memunculkan pembelajaran SKI yang beriorientasi pada HOTS. Kedua, desain yang dihasilkan berupa media buku cetak SKI yang berwarna dilengkapi dengan soal-soal berbasis HOTS, serta terdapat kode QR. Ketiga, hasil rata-rata penilaian dari ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan respon siswa sebesar 3,73. Dapat dikatakan tingkat kevalidan buku SKI berbasis HOTS sangat tinggi. Keempat, keefektifan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan buku SKI berbasis HOTS diperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap 32 siswa dengan rerata skor 76 poin pada pre-test dan 90 pada post-test sehingga produk pengembangan dapat dikatakan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran SKI.

Abstract

The research is motivated bt the fact un teaching the History of Islamic Culture, teachers have always liked to use conventional methods (lectures), this has had an impact on students active participation in learning, resulting in weak student learning activity. In learning, teachers don’t use interesting learning models. So that the student learning process is less conductive. This research is Clasroom Action Research, which was carried out collaboratively between the researcher and other teachers as collaborators, which consisted of two cycles and the research subjects were 20 students in class IX A of MTs Mamba’ul Ulum. This research aims to describe the process, results and response to the application of the problem based learning model to increase student learning activity in Islamic Cultural History at MTs Mamba’ul Ulum Murukan for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection was carried out by observing the implementation of the problem based learning model carried out by the teacher and observing in learning. The result of this research show that the problem based learning model has a positive impact on increasing students active learning. This is proven by the average value of student learning activity in each cycle, namely in cycle I it was 62,41% and cycle II it was 82,21%. This is also influenced by the teachers skills in implementing the problem based learning model, reaching 70% in cycle I and in cycle II reaching 85%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model can increase student learning activity in the Islamic Cultural History subject at MTs Mamba’ul Ulum Murukan Mojoagung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the SLM in MTsN 2 Kediri City , the benefits of applying SLM, the constraints faced , and to analyze the implementation of the SLM with reading theory from Mortimer Adler and Charles Van Doren. The research method used was qualitative with the type of case study research. The subjects of this study were the school principal, deputy school principal in the curriculum, Indonesian Language teachers, and students. Data obtained through in- depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Next data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which included the stages of selecting data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, researchers extended the observation and triangulation of sources and data collection techniques. The results of this study are: 1) The SLM in MtsN 2 Kediri City is implemented through reading corner activities; Wall magazine; environmental conditioning that is full of motivational sentences; habit of reading the Qur'an; as well as assignments on Indonesian Language subjects, the form of assignments such as: summarizing some types of books such as old novels, biographies, fantasy stories and popular knowledge; 2) The benefits of implementing this program are students being diligent in reading, trained in composing sentences, getting to know the types of books, and increasing their knowledge; 3) The constraints faced this program are the lack of available reading material in the library; students have difficulty in getting the type of books required; and difficulties in summarizing thick books; and 4) The implementation of SLM in MTsN 2 Kediri City is categorized in the third level of reading theory of Mortimer Adler and Charles Van Doren. It can be seen from the type of task assigned for participants learners to review book until the analysis, it is to display the advantages as well as the shortage of books read.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in elementary schools is often still traditional, teacher-centered, and focused on memorization, which makes it less meaningful for students. Ideally, PAI learning should foster active, reflective, and applicable processes in daily life. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Active Deep Learner Experience (ADLX) method in PAI learning at SDIT Bina Insani, Kediri City, focusing on teachers’ strategies, students’ responses, and challenges faced during its implementation. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings revealed that teachers applied structured strategies aligned with ADLX principles, involving students actively and reflectively in the learning process. Students responded positively, as shown by increased participation, deeper conceptual understanding, value internalization, and improved worship practices. However, teachers faced challenges such as limited instructional time, diverse student characteristics, and restricted learning media. The study concludes that ADLX is effective in improving the quality of PAI learning across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. These findings imply the need for institutional support in terms of resource provision, flexible policies, and continuous teacher training to ensure the sustainable implementation of ADLX.

Abstract

Curriculum changes from the Kurikulum 2013 to the Kurikulum Merdeka require teachers to be creative and innovative in carrying out differentiated learning. Technology is needed to make it easier for teachers to implement it. PAI teachers at SMPN 2 Kepung Kediri have innovated by utilizing Hyperdoc in the differentiated PAI learning. This study aims to describe: 1) different forms of PAI learning in classes IX-G and IX-I on tolerance; 2) implementing PAI learning based on Hyperdoc; and 3) The effectiveness of using Hyperdoc in PAI learning. The research approach used is a qualitative type of case study. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The validity of the collected data was checked by means of technical triangulation. The results can be concluded: 1) Forms of PAI learning are carried out through content, process and product differentiation; 2) The implementation of differentiated PAI learning based on Hyperdoc technology is carried out through the following steps: distributing forms containing questions related to students' interest in art or other; compiling a differentiated Hyperdoc whose material is according to students' interests; PAI learning is carried out by teachers using Hyperdoc in various ways, in groups, and individually; create digital comic projects as a form of reflection on understanding the material that has been taught; and finally presenting the work; 3) The effectiveness of PAI learning by utilizing Hyperdoc can be seen through the positive responses of students and the learning outcomes of students who have achieved the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Religious Education learning Islam using the Group Investigation type Cooperative Learning method for increase the learning interest of class V students at SDN Negeri 3 Kediri City. on the tree discussion of the attitude of simple living and sincere charity. This research is classroom action research, the research subjects of which are 23 class V students at SDN Ngronggo 3 Kediri City, consisting of 15 male students and 8 female student. Based on the research results, it shows that: (1) Cooperative Learning method type Group Investigation on PAI class V subjects at SDN Negeri 3 Kediri City was carried out well because with the Group Investigation type Cooperative Learning method educators can makes students more active in the learning process and does not feel bored, (2) The Group Investigation type Cooperative Learning method can be used increasing students' interest in learning in Class V PAI subjects at SDN Ngronggo 3 Kediri City, based on the results of the student questionnaire in pre-action, namely 58.7%, in cycle I namely 68.8%, while in cycle II the results of the student questionnaire were 75.5%.
