Abstract

This study deals with the effect of service quality on the interest of students visiting the library of UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was a significant effect of service quality on student interest in visiting the library. This type of research is survey research with a quantitative approach. The instrument used to collect data is a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale. Alternative answers are “strongly agree, agree, undecided, disagree and strongly disagree”. Analysis of the data used is simple regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect between service quality on student visitation interest where the results of statistical calculations show that 27.4% and 72.6% of other factors. This means that the quality of service has a positive influence on the interest in student visits, which is 27.4%, then the interest in student visits is influenced by other factors.Keywords: Library Service Quality, Visiting Interests, Libraries

Abstract

Research in the twenty-first century is turning toward community development and the value of community social work. The International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) places work in society as the prevailing trend for the future of social work. Society is very important for people's lives and that, automatically leads to the need to have knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA) in community practice. This study discusses the common features of community social work, social capital, and health promotion methods. It will provide social opportunities for workers to improve and further develop their professional practice in the Community. The model in this article strongly recognizes the benefits and advantages of working with community development strategies, thereby contributing to healthy communities that were rebuild and generate social capital.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about how the Fajr congregation plans in empowering the community through the Smile Greetings and Salam program, to find out how the implementation of the Smile Greetings program in empowering the community, and to find out the results of the Smile Greetings program in empowering the community. The method used is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Sources of primary data obtained from observations and conducting interviews with the parties concerned. Secondary data sources were obtained from relevant documents and photos in this study. The results of this study prove that community empowerment that occurs in the first five people of the first five community members in the community empowerment program, there are curative and non-curative services. Curative is in the form of treatment while non-curative is in the form of health education to the community. The purpose of this research is to improve people's lives, especially in the form of daily mental needs.

Abstract

Minang or Minangkabau is an ethnic cultural group that adheres to a distinctive customary system, namely a family system according to female lineage which is called the matrilineal system. In Minangkabau culture, marriage is one of the important events in the life cycle and is a very significant transitional period in forming a small group of new families to continue the lineage. For the Minangkabau people who are Muslim, marriages are carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. There are 2 (two) types of marriages for the Minangkabau indigenous people, namely: 1) Ideal marriage, namely marriage between close families such as children from nephews; 2) Abstinence marriage, namely marriage that cannot be carried out like the child of a mother or father. There are 2 (two) marriage procedures for the Minangkabau indigenous people, namely: 1) Marriage according to female relatives, namely the woman who is the initiator in marriage and in household life, from starting to find a mate to carrying out the marriage; 2) Marriage according to male relatives, namely the man who is the initiator in marriage and households, from starting to find a mate to carrying out the marriage and daily living expenses. The form of marriage in Minangkabau has changed according to the times. Previously, a husband meant nothing in the wife's family, now it is the husband who is responsible for his family

Abstract

This research is an open source system and utilization for libraries with the aim of providing information and the use of information technology systems, of course also getting great benefits from the application of open source systems in libraries, so that with this presence it will be effective in carrying out systems in libraries. In research using a qualitative approach and descriptive method to provide an explanation and present the research data that has been analyzed. As for the technical data collection in this study is descriptive then perform processing with analytical techniques which will be formulated in the form of words not numbers. The results of this study indicate that Open source is an open source code, where there is freedom in using it, either to study, add, subtract, modify or re-revise. Everything can be done without having to pay royalties to the previous creator, but is free in the sense that he is responsible by not eliminating the copyright of the creator.
