Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still teachers who have difficulty in applying the learning model well in classroom learning, so the researchers intend to examine what are the obstacles or obstacles in the application of the PBL learning model in social studies learning in elementary grade IV. Teachers as one of the important components in the learning process need to pay attention to the needs and characteristics of their students in preparing quality learning. To achieve this, teachers must be creative in choosing the right learning model and also pay attention to the characteristics of elementary school students. One of the models commonly used by teachers in social studies learning is the problem based learning (PBL) model. The PBL learning model is a learning model that makes problems as the basis for student learning. Based on the research that the researcher has done through descriptive qualitative research methods with the research subject of class IV teachers at SDN 090 Cibiru, it was found that various obstacles became obstacles for teachers in implementing the PBL learning model to the fullest. These obstacles are: (1) inadequate facilities; (2) teacher readiness; (3) limited time; and (4) barriers from within the classroom and students. The data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the facts found in the field that there are still many teachers who do not master teaching skills, especially skills in carrying out a variety of learning methods, so the researcher intends to discuss teacher problems or obstacles in carrying out various methods in teaching and learning activities and what efforts teachers can make in conducted a variety of methods in elementary schools, especially grade 3. Based on the research that had been conducted by the researchers through a qualitative descriptive research method with the research subject being class III teachers at SDN A and class V teachers at SDN B in Bandung City, various teacher problems were found in carrying out variations on learning methods. These obstacles are: (1) not all students can follow the teacher's learning strategies and methods; (2) the teacher's busyness in several activities; (3) the teacher's lack of knowledge regarding the selection of appropriate methods and strategies for students; (4) as well as the lack of facilities and infrastructure in schools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji mengenai suatu inovasi pendidikan yaitu pembelajaran berbasis video di era revolusi 4.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka atau bisa disebut juga dengan studi kepustakaan, dimana metode dilakukan dengan cara mengkaji serta menelaah konsep serta teori-teori dari berbagai sumber pustaka seperti artikel dan jurnal ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan masalah penelitian. Kita sendiri kini memasuki era revolusi 4.0, dimana teknologi berkembang sangat pesat. Hal ini juga memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap kehidupan manusia termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan, dan ini membuat dunia pendidikan harus dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang ada dengan melakukan inovasi. Salah satu inovasi dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan diberlakukannya pembelajaran berbasis video. Dengan penggunaan pembelajaran berbasis video diharapkan nantinya memudahkan pendidik dalam memberikan materi pelajaran dan siswa dapat dengan mudah memahami konteks dari mata pelajaran yang diajarkan.
