This research uses descriptive research which is quantitative in nature. The population in the study was 55 samples with a sample size of 36 respondents who used the sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. The results showed that of the 36 respondents where the normal bilirubin levels were 14 respondents or if the percentage was 39%, while for the abnormal or high bilirubin levels there were 22 respondents or if the percentage was 61%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the results of the examination of bilirubin levels in alcohol consumers in Pohuwato Timur Village, Pohuwato Regency are more dominant with abnormal or high levels compared to normal bilirubin levels.

Abstract

Various types of intestinal worms are still a public health problem and are often found both in cities and in villages in Indonesia, which can lead to anemia, malnutrition, impaired growth and impaired intelligence. This also leads to choosing the right method to determine a person's worm status. The use of a fecal examination method that has a high level of sensitivity and specificity is very important in order to obtain a worm status or accurate results. A person's worms status can be ascertained by finding worm eggs in a fecal laboratory examination. This study aims to determine differences in the results of examining intestinal nematode eggs in feces between Flotation methods and sedimentation methods for students at SDN 11 Telaga. This research is a quantitative analytic comparative method, with a sample size of 35 people from a population of 54 people. The data analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results were tested with Wilcoxon. The results of this study showed that the flotation method was positive, and in the sedimentation method there were no intestinal nematode eggs.

Abstract

In diabetes mellitus sufferers, there is a hypercoagulation state caused by hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance. This can lead to changes in the components that play a role in the function of hemostasis, causing an increase in coagulation activity with a decrease in fibrinolytic activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the blood clotting time using the Lee and White method in patients with Diabetes Mellitus. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The total sample used was 20 patients with accidental sampling technique. Using univariate data analysis techniques processed through the IBM SPSS Statistic V25.0 program. The results of the study showed that 60.0% of patients with normal blood clotting time and 40.0% with prolonged clotting time. It is recommended for people with Diabetes Mellitus in addition to controlling blood glucose levels, it is also expected to check blood clotting time.

Abstract

A clinical laboratory is a means of measuring, determining and testing samples from humans that are used to determine the type of disease. Every examination, each stage has errors that can affect the results of the examination. The error in the pre-analytic stage reached 68%, 25% in the analytic stage, while in the post-analytic stage the error was approximately 14%. Proteinuria is a prerequisite for the diagnosis of preeclampsia. This research aims toknow the comparison of urine protein examination using the usual heating method with the heating method of 6% acetic acid in pregnant women in the third trimester at Kabila District Health Center. Bone Bolango. This type of research uses comparative analytical research, which is to compare the similarities and differences between two or more properties and facts of the object under study based on a certain frame of mind. The number of samples in this study were 14 people from a total population of 14 people with a total sampling technique. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the ordinary heating method has positive results + (+1) of 1 person with a presentation of 7.1% and the heating method of 6% acetic acid does not find any positive results. Wilcoxon test results show insignificant value 0.317> 0.05 this is because the sample size in this study does not meet the test requirements so that it affects the test results. It is hoped that pregnant women will carry out control in order to know as early as possible the diseases that will arise.
