Abstract

An institution or organization can never be separated from management and leadership style. a leader whose leadership style is certainly different one with the other leaders even though it was likely to be no similarity between the leadership styles are applied in addition to the managerial skills of a leader will determine the course of an institution or organization.

Abstract

This research is a text study of the Ramayana’s scripture to identify and analyze the moral principles in it in regards to prevent the pop culture’s impact. The method used in this paper is close reading and content analysis. Popular culture influences the mindset, habits and moral behavior of society. Pragmatic, hedonistic, consumerist behaviors, and fear of missing out are symptoms of addiction to popular culture. The trend of self-destruction seems more interesting than the trend of building self-quality. The massive spread of popular culture through social media and other social platforms needs to be anticipated, one of which can be done through the integration of moral values as a learning materials in school sourced from religious teachings. Ramayana’s scripture, which contains many moral teachings, can be a universal reference in preventing the negative impacts of popular culture. The moral principles in question are the principles of good attitudes, justice and respect for ourself. Apart from that, strong moral personality attitudes include honesty, authentic values, willingness to take responsibility, moral independence, moral courage, humility, being realistic and critical. These moral principles are found in most of the kanda, and should be actualize as a filtration of popular culture's impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar IPAS antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan pembelajaran konvensional, (2) menguji pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar, (3) menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar pada siswa bermotivasi tinggi, dan (4) pada siswa bermotivasi rendah, berdasarkan model pembelajaran yang digunakan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Gugus VI Sutasoma, Kecamatan Kubutambahan, Kabupaten Buleleng. Desain penelitian menggunakan kuasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan faktorial 2×2. Hasil analisis menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar IPAS antara kelompok inkuiri terbimbing dan kelompok konvensional, (2) terdapat interaksi signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar, (3) siswa bermotivasi tinggi yang mengikuti inkuiri terbimbing memperoleh skor lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding kelompok konvensional, dengan selisih rata-rata 12,824 poin (p < 0,001), dan (4) siswa bermotivasi rendah yang mengikuti inkuiri terbimbing juga menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar secara signifikan dibanding kelompok konvensional, dengan selisih rata-rata 1,588 poin (p < 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS, baik pada siswa dengan motivasi tinggi maupun rendah.

Abstract

Learning is one-way lecture and student learning motivation is low. Therefore, learning improvements are implemented. The purpose of this study is to conduct classroom action research through the application of Google Sites-based Nusantara storybooks to increase student learning motivation. The implementation of the research is at SD N 3 Kekeran Bali with a research sample of 28 third-grade students. The classroom action research method with a pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle. The research instrument is a student learning motivation questionnaire. The results of the study showed an increase in the average student learning motivation from the first cycle with an average of 68 and classical completeness of 61% and the second cycle average to 85 and classical completeness to 93%. Therefore, it is concluded that the application of Google Sites-based Nusantara storybooks increases students' motivation to learn science, especially in the third grade of elementary school. Further research can develop media, insert models, or conduct experimental research with a wider sample.
