Abstract

This research tried to compare Digital Elevation Model (DEM) results from UAV Drone Survey with online DEM with a study case a railway route planning from Semarang to Demak in Central Jawa. The terrain model was resulted by Agisoft Metashape software and was compared to DEM from GoogleEarth, BING, SRTM, ASTERGDEM and DEMNAS by using Global Mapper sofware. The comparison was conducted by generating contour drawing for each model, along with graphical and statistical analysis. The results shown that the DEM Model from UAV Drone Survey result can meet the standard accurcy needed. The result of comparison from other the online DEM resulted that DEMNAS and ASTER GDEM have the stronges correlation among other DEM resources. The finding suggested for a carefull consideration to use open source DEM Data for perelyminary design odr Detail Engineering Design, especially for railway infrastructure project.

Abstract

Prediction of the bearing capacity of deep foundations using analytical methods from the results of the standard Penetration Test has been carried out until now due to practical consideration. However, with the many types of empirical formulas proposed by various researchers, it is necessary to test the validity of the values predicted by the empirical formulas. During the construction stage, the bearing capacity of deep foundations can be checked using the Pile Driving Analysis (PDA) Test. This study aimed to compare the foundation bearing capacity prediction results using analytical methods of Luciano Decourt (1982), Reese and O'Neil (1999), and Building Standard Law of Japan with the results from PDA test. The comparison indicate that the analytical method of Luciano Decourt (1982) predict bearing capacity with the smallest error rate, which is 1.97% to 38.99% with safaty factor (SF) 2 to 3 on a relatively homogeneous and heterogeneous soil conditions. Prediction of bearing capacity of bored pile foundations using analytical methods O'Neil & Reese (1999) and Building Standard Law of Japan provide better performance for soil types which is dominated by cohesive soils with safety factor (SF) 2.

Abstract

This study uses GIS-based maps to identify the potential for landslide movement on the railroad section between Prupuk Station and Purwokerto Station. The preparation was conducted by overlaying various maps obtained by online resource data, including rainfall, slope, geology, soil type, and land use, by using the DVMBG 2004 landslide prediction model. The distribution of landslide susceptibility levels shows that of the overall railway lines, 1.10% was very low, 17.29% was low, 63.16% was medium, 18.25% was high, and 0.21% was very high. The results of this study can be used as a reference for operators to provide information systems, landslide monitoring, and mitigation systems, especially for railroads in areas with high and very high vulnerability for landslides. Detailed conditions of landslide parameters and assessment of landslide occurrence on the location are needed to improve the accuracy of the models.

Abstract

Efficiency, comfort, speed and timeliness are the main factors humans need in mobilisation and transportation. In providing a theoretical basis and technical reference for the quality improvement of high-speed railways in Indonesia, this study comprehensively discusses the theory of geometrical design of high-speed railway tracks and the calculation of excavation and embankment volumes. By using Minister of Transportation regulations Number 7 of 2022 and TB 10621-2014, which contains technical planning for high-speed railway tracks, an alternative route is planned across Bandung to Cirebon Phase I (Rancaekek-Cimalaka) with an operating speed of 350 km/hour, there are 5 horizontal curves and 16 vertical curves calculated using TB 10621-2014 and AutoCAD Civil 3D software. The results obtained from this study are alternative planning of the high-speed railway route along 33,850 meters from Bandung to Cirebon Phase I (Rancaekek- Cimalaka).
