Abstract

Indonesia has educational goals that have been regulated in its law, but these goals are still not in line with what is happening in the field. There are still many students who only do education but do not know anything about the importance and nature of education itself. As a result, they do not find love and a sense of comfort with their education which can affect the realization of Indonesia's educational goals as the nation's successor. The research method in this article uses the literature method. Here in this article we will invite you to feel how beautiful education is with the power within yourself

Abstract

Junior high school students' critical thinking skills need to be possessed and trained to face the 21st century. The increasingly developing era of education is an important aspect to combat the future. However, junior high school science learning is generally still relatively low because the learning approach does not involve students enough. One learning model that is considered effective is inquiry learning. This learning model involves students and encourages them to improve their critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine the role and influence of the inquiry learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students. The method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) from Google Scholar. The data search keywords are inquiry learning and critical thinking skills, 20 articles were found and 10 articles will be reviewed with these criteria. The research findings show that the use of the inquiry learning model can improve the thinking skills of junior high school students in science subjects.

Abstract

Variasi pembelajaran di era globalisasi menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi tenaga pendidik khususnya guru. Variasi media pembelajaraan kini menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk menarik minat belajar siswa, karena guru harus menyesuaikan kebutuhan siswa yang semakin beragam. Pemahaman konsep IPA dengan media yang kurang bervariasi berakibat, siswa menjadi bosan dengan pembelajaran berlangsung. Oleh karena itu, kami membuat terobosan baru agar pemahaman siswa meningkat dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data secara kualitatif dengan cara memberikan angket pada siswa. Penelitian ini berfokus pada siswa kelas 8A SMPN 3 SEMPU. Variasi media pembelajaran kami suguhkan dengan pemanfaatan aplikasi android “periodic table” yang dapat di download pada handphone masing-masing siswa. Pemanfaatan aplikasi ini kami harap dapat menarik minat belajar siswa dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif.
