Abstract

At present, there are still many colleges that use Teacher Center Learning (TCL) based learning models. And this has resulted in the low interest of students in following the learning process. The result of the above problem is the decline in student learning outcomes. This study aims to develop a learning media based on Student Center Learning (SCL), by using an E-Task application that can improve students' results and independence in Information Systems Project Management subjects. Where in this case the student will use the E-Task application in working on assignments given by Lecturers independently or in groups, so that in terms of increasing student independence. This research uses the basic concept of system development life cycle (SDLC) system development which is described by the UML system design tool. The designed system flow is illustrated by global design, namely Use Case Diagram. The final result of this research is an E-Task application that is designed attractively so that students are expected to be able to independently carry out their duties and give their assignments to Lecturers anywhere and anytime. With this application students are able to actively work together, so that assignments given to students can be completed quickly, and this application can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Blended learning in this study combined face-to-face online learning and independent learning such as interactive media and zoom meeting application. This study aims to obtain the comparison of implementation blended learning in improving 4C abilities (critical thinking, creative, communication, and collaboration) system information students in English debate activity before and after the treatment. Furthermore, preliminary data from the subjects of this study before blended learning treatment showed an average value of < 55, and this value was categorized as “less”. Therefore, this research is a type of quantitative research using pre-experimental research method. The data were calculated by using SPSS. Research results indicated an increase in the students’ 4C abilities after implementing the blended learning model. The average increase of creativity was 43.79%, with an estimated increase is 39.89%. Critical thinking was 45.08%, with an estimate of 47.78%. Collaboration had 38.26%, with an estimate of 43.03%. At the same time, communication reached 38.32% with an estimation of 43.40%. Based on these results, the highest 4C increase was in critical thinking abilities compared to other abilities.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 selain berdampak negatif, juga berdampak positif dalam dunia pendidikan. Salah satunya adalah memicu percepatan transformasi digital pendidikan di Indonesia sehingga pembelajaran dapat dilakukan secara daring (dalam jaringan). Dampak lainnya adalah berkembanganya aplikasi belajar online sebagai penghubung antara pendidik dengan siswa melalui internet yang dapat diakses kapan saja dan dimana saja. Permasalahannya adalah sebagian besar siswa belum memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai untuk pembelajaran daring. Tujuan dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan internet secara efektif dan pelatihan dasar Microsoft Word selama pembelajaran daring bagi siswa-siswa Panti Asuhan Darul Ma’arif Karimiyah Padang. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini adalah berupa ceramah, pelatihan dan tanya jawab tentang pemanfaatan internet secara efektif serta dasar-dasar Microsoft Word. Dampak terhadap para siswa Panti Asuhan antara lain siswa memahami cara penggunaan internet secara efektif untuk pembelajaran daring, mampu mengoperasikan Microsoft Word dan dapat memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih.

Abstract

Dewasa ini setiap guru di hampir semua jenjang pendidikan diwajibkan untuk melek teknologi, terutama teknologi informasi. Selain untuk menunjang kegiatan pendidikan, melek teknologi informasi juga menunjang guru dalam menyelesaikan persoalan administrasi. Salah satu perangkat lunak yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang pendidikan dan persoalan administrasi adalah Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel dan Microsoft PowerPoint. Perangkat lunak Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel dan Microsoft PowerPoint memiliki banyak fitur yang masih kurang familiar disebagian pengguna, terutama guru-guru SMA DM TRIGUNA padang. Hal tersebut dialami oleh guru-guru SMA DM TRIGUNA padang yang belum terbiasa dengan tool-tool yang banyak disediakan pada perangkat lunak Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel dan Microsoft PowerPoint. Beberapa kendala yang sering dijumpai adalah kurang maksimalnya penggunaan fungsi merge di Word, fungsi rumus-rumus kondisi pada Excel dan animasi serta multimedia di PowerPoint. Hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi tim pengabdian untuk memberikan pelatihan “PELATIHAN METODE DAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN SECARA EFEKTIF BAGI GURU-GURU SMA DM TRIGUNA PADANG SELAMA PANDEMI COVID 19”. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di Lab Komputer SMA DM TRIGUNA Padang dengan metode ceramah dan praktik langsung. Peserta pelatihan ini adalah 25 orang yang semuanya merupakan guru-guru SMA DM Triguna Padang. Kegiatan berlangsung selama 1 (satu ) hari dengan durasi 4 (empat ) jam. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan ketrampilan dan pemahaman peserta meningkat terkait penggunaan perangkat lunak perkantoran.

Abstract

Good application is a determinant factor for the development of a company or governmentagency in the future. However, at this time still many find the process of data processing is stilldone manually that can hinder the development of a system. For that required the applicationto support the information processing activities required. Thus, the authors make anapplication that can facilitate a transaction in order to avoid irregularities in data processingtransactions. The research method used in this data collection process is conducting fieldsurvey and interview with CAP shop in Padang Panjang. Designing Information Systems Dataprocessing transactions using an application based on MySQL database and object-orientedprogramming is PHP with various facilities and facilities in report processing, in thepreparation of reports assisted by using General Ledger. General Ledger generated canimprove the efficiency and effectiveness in report processing, where the required reports canbe produced in a relatively short time and timely in the delivery of reports.Keywords: Application, General Ledger

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pelayanan publik dan efektifitas kinerja di kantor SAMSAT Kota Padang dengan cara memberikan informasi biaya BBNKB kepada masyarakat yang akan melakukan transaksi balik nama. Biaya Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) termasuk salah satu transaksi yang paling banyak dilakukan pada kantor SAMSAT Padang. Saat ini media pendukung untuk biaya balik nama kendaraan belum ada, sehingga orang wajib pajak tidak mengetahui berapa biaya yang harus mereka bayar. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut perlu dikembangkan sebuah Sistem Informasi Biaya Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) berbasis SMS Gateway. Pengembangan software berbasis SDLC dengan metode XP (Extreme Programming). Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan bahasa pemrograman VB.Net, dan database MySQL sebagai menyimpan data serta Gammu sebagai konfigurasi SMS Gateway. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi yang dapat digunakan bagi wajib pajak agar mengetahui jumlah biaya balik nama kendaraan bermotor, yang dapat meningkatkan efesiensi kerja pada kantor SAMSAT kota Padang. Kata kunci: SMS Gateway, SAMSAT, Extreme Programming Abstract The purpose of this research is to improve public services and effectiveness of performance at the SAMSAT office in the city of Padang by providing information on BBNKB costs to people who will conduct transactions behind the name. The cost of transferring motor vehicle names (BBNKB) is one of the most widely carried out transactions at the SAMSAT Padang office. At present there are no supporting media for the return of vehicle names, so that taxpayers do not know how much they must pay. To solve this problem, it is necessary to develop an Motorbike Name Return Fee Information System (BBNKB) based on SMS Gateway. SDLC based software development with XP (Extreme Programming) method. This system was developed with the VB.Net programming language, and the MySQL database as a data store and Gammu as an SMS Gateway configuration. The results of this study are an application that can be used for taxpayers to find out the amount of return costs for motorized vehicles, which can improve work efficiency at the SAMSAT office in the city of Padang. Abstract

PKM partners are product craftsmen in Acrylic Village, which is located on Jalan Gunung Pangilun, North Padang District. The problems that occur in Acrylic Village include (a) the absence of social media facilities to promote handicraft products of acrylic village members (b) The lack of knowledge of the craftsmen of Acrylic Village products on how to promote their products on social media, and (c) the lack of knowledge of craftsmen on how to promote their products. products using digital techniques through Android applications. The solutions to the problems obtained are (a) The implementation of this PKM is expected to be able to hold training in making promotional media for product promotion produced by members in Acrylic Village, (b) It is hoped that social media training for this promotional media can facilitate craftsmen members to be able to make promotional advertisements. handicraft vendors in increasing product sales, (c) Providing knowledge to craftsmen members about the tricks and ways of promoting products on social media using digital techniques in the Android application (d) The results of their creativity, in the form of product photos, can be useful and advertised on social media to increase product sales. The method of implementing the activities includes four stages, namely: program planning, program implementation, observation and evaluation. In program planning, there are several plans that will be carried out, namely (a) Field Study, (b) Training and provision of craftsman group members. (c) Program socialization. (d) Preparation of training programs. In the implementation of the program, (a) Formation of several working groups of craftsmen based on the type of product, (b) Improving the knowledge and skills of the craftsmen to make their own mini studio to make product photos to be marketed, (c) Demonstrating how to use digital techniques on mobile phones and directly practiced, (d) coaching and training in making promotions with social media to increase sales. At the observation stage, what will be done is to see the obstacles, shortcomings and weaknesses that arise in the training process on how and tricks to promote simple acrylic village handicraft products using digital techniques on the Android application.

Abstract

Usaha Ikan Laut KBS merupakan usaha jual beli ikan laut di Pantai Banda Aia di Kelurahan Pasie Nan Tigo. Dalam keseharian usaha ini belum menggunakan teknologi informasi dalam proses pengolahan data penjualan ikan laut, sehingga menimbulkan kendala dalam kegiatan pengolahan data dan pembuatan laporan penjualan per hari, per bulan dan per tahun. Oleh sebab itu tentunya akan mempengaruhi proses transaksi dan pembuatan laporan penjualan dalam penjualan ikan laut yang akan berdampak terhadap Usaha Ikan Laut KBS, sehingga dibutuhkannya sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu Usaha Ikan Laut KBS dalam proses pengolahan data, sehingga dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat membantu pemilik/pengelola Usaha Ikan Laut KBS dalam melakukan pengolahan data penjualan ikan laut dan dapat menghasilkan laporan penjualan Usaha Ikan Laut KBS. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL, metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah metode SDLC dengan model waterfall dan untuk metode pengolahan datanya menggunakan metode FIFO (first in first out). Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya aplikasi yang dapat membantu proses pengolahan data penjualan ikan laut sehingga dapat membuat kinerja dari Usaha Ikan Laut KBS menjadi lebih efektif.

Abstract

Untuk mencapai lulusan yang berkompetensi dan mampu bersaing maka perlu didukung media atau model pembelajaran yang relevan sesuai abad 21 dan era revolusi industri 4.0. Pembentukan karakter siswa dalam proses pendidikan harus menjadi perhatian agar dapat mencapai keunggulan dalam persaingan abad 21. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi dalam mewujudkan generasi milenial dengan berpedoman pada teknologi digital pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM ini adalah metode ceramah, praktek / pelatihan dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah mahasiswa dapat memahami dan mengerti langkah-langkah dalam menjalankan aplikasi  model pembelajaran E-Task In Learning (ETiL) yang diharapkan dapat memotivasi mahasiswa dalam belajar dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to build an agroedutourism reservation and marketing information system at Alam Maimbau adventure in processing data, making tour package reservation reports and doing marketing. The problem faced by Alam Maimbau Adventure is that there is no system that can display tour package information along with the reservation process so that interesting tour packages owned by Alam Maimbau Adventure are not known by guests or potential tourists. In addition, the management of tour package data has not been managed properly, causing the information that is not received completely by guests. The method used in this study is the prototype method. This research produces a reservation and marketing information system that makes it easier for admins to manage guest data. In addition, with this information system, guests can find information about tourist objects in West Sumatra that were not known before.
