Abstract

Human resources are one of the important resources in a company because they affect the productivity of a company, every company must have human resources with ethnic, racial, religious and gender diversity so that they need to be managed properly so that they can run effectively and efficiently for the company. This study uses descriptive qualitative data methods by making in-depth observations of the research using qualitative data. The results of this study indicate that the importance of the DEI strategy (diversity, equity, inclusion) is applied to a company in order to unify the diversity that exists in the company and create a comfortable work environment and equality for each employee against the applicable company norms and policies.

Abstract

The development of technology in business is an important factor to increase company productivity. Traditional marketing strategies are no longer effective in the digital age, so it is important to adopt a digital marketing strategy. UMKM Lims Nasi Lemak, which has been operating for 2 years, initially used a simple offline marketing method. However, it is realized that it is necessary to develop a digital marketing strategy. The author recommends using Instagram, Gojek, Grab, and Shopee Food applications  as digital marketing strategies for these MSMEs. The  method used in this study is a qualitative method, where the research is used to analyze and collect data in the form of descriptive and non-numeric. The results of this study are expected that digital marketing strategies can increase the income of MSMEs Lims Nasi Lemak by attracting new customers and retaining old customers. The increased revenue can be used as capital for further marketing, and the presence of MSMEs on these digital platforms will increase efficiency and productivity.

Abstract

This study discusses company regulations (PP) and collective labor agreements (PKB) in employment relations between employers and employees. PP is a written regulation made by a company to regulate the obligations and rights of the company and employees. While PKB is an agreement reached between employers and trade unions regarding obligations, rights, and conditions of employment. The method used in this study is quantitative method with descriptive data analysis. The results showed that PP is determined unilaterally by employers, while PKB involves negotiations between employers and trade unions. PP is valid for a maximum of 2 years and must be renewed, while PKB is valid for a maximum of 2 years and can be extended. Manufacturing companies are the focus of this study, and the preparation of PP is needed to enforce the level of compliance with laws and regulations. PKB becomes a reference for trade unions and companies in determining rights and obligations. PP and PKB have an important role in creating good and harmonious industrial relations.

Abstract

The increase in the shipping industry in the city of Batam is increasingly developing and the emergence of many companies engaged in the same field giving rise to competitors, one of the most important factors within a company if it wants to survive and compete is the operational management of their company, operational management can help companies achieve company goals. The shipping companies studied were PT. Lautan Lestaro Shipyard, PT provides services for carrying goods nationally and internationally such as carrying sand, coal, gypsum seeds. During the Covid-19 pandemic, this PT did not experience a drastic economic decline because the company implemented a very good operational activity strategy for the company.
