Abstract

Language is speech, as Ibn Jinni defined it. This definition goes to the growth of the spoken language in society. It is well known that the spoken language is more developed and used than the written language. This research aims to explain the conditions of the spoken language and its changes. First of all, we divide this spoken language into two parts, pidgin language and creole language. While a pidgin language arises from efforts to communicate between speakers of different languages, a creole language is born from the natural language that develops from the simplifying and mixing of different languages into a new one. This phenomenon is found in many languages, including Arabic. The pidgin language in Arabic is spoken by workers from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Philippines and other countries. They try to converse among themselves in Arabic according to their ability and understanding, this is where the pidgin language originates. And there are many languages was established among peoples for a long time, and the frequent circulation of it among them made it natural to them, so this language became a creole language.

Abstract

Language skills are abilities that can be possessed by every human being. This ability can be obtained in several ways and methods for foreign language learning. However, the best way or method of language learning, the best way is by the language acquisition method, because the method makes students learn language skills unconsciously, and this condition can instill language skills in a person well, more than normal learning conditions. Furthermore, every human being born has been equipped with a Language Acquisition Device that will greatly assist a person's development in mastering certain languages. In this paper, several theories and hypotheses are also mentioned about the ways, processes and results of language acquisition done by someone.

Abstract

In this millennium era, teachers are required to follow technological developments in developing their pedagogical abilities; in this case teachers are expected to be able to assess their students' abilities objectively and efficiently. The Moodle application is one of the existing applications and can be used to measure students' abilities objectively and efficiently. The importance of using the Moodle application is the background of this research to help and apply how to use this application to measure students' competence in learning Arabic. This qualitative research is based on library research using a descriptive approach, by describing existing programs to measure students' abilities. The results of the study are; To measure students' abilities by using the Moodle application, several things must be prepared including: 1) Preparation of the Moodle program using a local host, both online and offline, 2) Preparation of test questions, 3) Preparation of test rooms, 4) Preparation of test materials, and 5) Preparation of student account.

Abstract

Minyak bekas penggorengan atau minyak jelantah merupakan limbah yang dihasilkan dari proses pengolahan makanan yang digoreng. Sebagian besar masyarakat tidak mengetahui manfaat minyak jelantah, masyarakat menganggap minyak jelantah sebagai limbah yang dibuang begitu saja sehingga menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami melakukan inovasi pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan, diawali dengan penyampaian materi menggunakan media power point, sesi diskusi dan praktek pembuatan yang kemudian dirancang menjadi ide bisnis. Kegiatan penyuluhan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Ngebruk, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu, 18 Januari 2023 secara offline dan diikuti oleh ibu-ibu kader PKK Desa Ngebruk. Hal ini dilakukan agar masyarakat setempat memiliki wawasan serta keterampilan membuat lilin aromaterapi ramah lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan limbah yang biasanya dibuang begitu saja. Pengolahan minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi memiliki peluang menjadi ide bisnis yang bernilai ekonomis di masa sekarang hingga masa mendatang sekaligus mengurangi limbah minyak jelantah, inovasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi ide usaha masyarakat setempat.
