Abstract

One of the negative effects of social media is that it spreads intolerance to villages, which play a role in shaping society into radicalism, and violent extremism. The Wahid Foundation designed an initiative called Desa Damai. Wahid Foundation was established to advance Gus Dur's vision of humanity Nine values to build moderate thinking that encourages the creation of democracy, multiculturalism, and peace. This research includes descriptive qualitative research and case studies in Candirenggo Village, Malang Regency. This research design uses grounded theory. Data were obtained from observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation and focus group discussions. The data analysis method used in this study is grounded theory. The results of the research are the implementation of the nine values of Gus Dur to build harmonization in the midst of a multicultural society as the basis for developing the indicators for Desa Damai and the basis for developing human resources who have moderate and tolerant characters towards other cultures. In addition, these nine values of Gus Dur contribute to building awareness as God's creatures, social beings and free, civilized souls.

Abstract

The cultural potential in Batu city is no less interesting than other regions in Java. One of the tradition cultural from Batu city is the Jamasan Kentongan ritual. This event is held on the anniversary of the Pesanggrahan Village Batu City. It aims to maintain and care for the ancestral culture. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. This research used the form of literature studies and interviews to collect the data. The theory that used in this study is theory cultural anthropology. The research results are a) Description about Procedures of process Jamasan Kentongan in Pesanggrahan village Batu city which have two procession, namely preliminary procession and ceremonial procession; b) the symbolic meaning of the tradition of jamasan kentongan is the umbo rampe that used in the jamasan ritual; c) The existence of patterns of religious and cultural dialectics in the Jamasan ritual from Pesanggrahan village Batu city.

Abstract

PAI teachers have an important role to participate in building and directing Indonesian Islam As academics of Islamic sciences, book reading skills are an inseparable part of PAI students. Unfortunately, the level of student ability is still weak. This is very unfortunate, considering that they are conditioned as scholars in the Islamic field but cannot study their field of knowledge through access to primary resources in ArabicTherefore, an android-based application development program was initiated called Proficient in Reading Books (AARAVI) for Islamic Studies students which is an alternative to facilitate the process of learning to read books. This learning media development research is based on Multimedia-based Instructional Design using the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model goes through 5 stages of research, namely: (1) Analysis (analysis); (2) Design (design); (3) Development (development); (4) Implementation (application); (5) Evaluation (evaluation).The subjects of this study were students majoring in Islamic Religious Education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang batch of 2020 who were taking the Qira'atul Polar course as many as 20 people. In this AARAVI application development research, data were collected through five data sources, namely: (1) interviews, (2) literature study, (3) questionnaires, (4) tests, and (5) documentation. In this development research, three techniques were used. data analysis, namely: (1) descriptive analysis (2) quantitative descriptive analysis, this is used to process the data obtained through a questionnaire in the form of percentages. (3) as well as the analysis technique of the paired sample t-test (if the data is normally distributed) and the Wilcoxon rank tests (if the data is not normally distributed) to measure the pre and post tests. The results of this application development research indicate that the AARAVI application is very feasible to be applied as a learning medium for reading books for PAI students. This is based on the results of the validation test of material experts in the field of study with a cumulative value of 43 out of 12 statements with a percentage of 89% which means very valid, by media experts getting a cumulative score of 40 out of 12 questions with a percentage of 83% which means very valid and by students majoring in Islamic Studies. UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as a field test is 42 of 12 statements with a percentage of 87%. which means it is very valid. There is a positive and significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after the trial. This means that learning by using the product developed is effective in order to increase student learning acquisition in reading skills, so that the product is suitable for use for Islamic Education students at the mubtadi'in level

Abstract

Gus Dur contributed brilliant ideas regarding efforts to build awareness of multiculturalism to increase the development of tolerance and heterogeneity in a multicultural society. This idea is known as the nine main values of Gus Dur including monotheism, humanity, justice, equality, brotherhood, liberation, simplicity, chivalry and local wisdom. The purpose of this study is to increase the availability of learning media for insight into moderate values in religion while at the same time helping educators in ma'had, namely the board of caregivers, murrobi/ah and musyrif/ah in providing students with an understanding of moderate Islamic values in the context of religion and Indonesia. As well as being a counter discourse to negative narratives about intolerance and radicalism in the name of religion or ethnicity. This development research uses the ADDIE model, the ADDIE model went through 5 stages of research, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The development of Gus Dur's Perspective Religious Moderation Education at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang obtained very valid criteria. And based on the percentage of the results of field trials, it can be said that the pocket books that have been tested can be said to be effective and feasible to use.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang komprehensif mengenai diabetes melitus, termasuk gejala, faktor risiko, dampaknya terhadap kesehatan, serta upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian. Sasaran program pengabdian ini adalah 15 perempuan warga Desa Lemah Kembar Kecamatan Sumberasih Kabupaten Probolinggo yang sudah menderita diabetes melitus. dan kelompok berisiko terkena diabetes melitus dari berbagai golongan usia. Metode yang diterapkan dalam program pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini memperlihatkan bahwa sasaran kegiatan pengabdian antusia sdan memberikan respon yang baik. Hasil evaluasi berdasarkan wawancara, kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan mengenai diabetes melitus.
