Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kinerja Kepala Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) di kota Sorong melalui metode self assessment. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kolaboratif partisipatif antara Peneliti, Pengawas madrasah, dan Kepala madrasah sebagai Subyek Penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan analisis data menggunakan uraian deskriptif. Analisis data dilakukan dalam 3 tahap yaitu reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peningkatan rata-rata kinerja Kepala MTs di Kota Sorong setelah melalui self assessment meliputi; kompetensi kepribadian sebesar 9%, kompetensi manajerial sebesar 9%, kompetensi kewirausahaan sebesar 12%, kompetensi Supervisi sebesar 9%, dan kompetensi sosial sebesar 11%.Abstract: The aims of this study to describe the performance improvement of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) principals in the city of Sorong through the self-assessment method. This type of research is participatory collaborative research between researchers, madrasah supervisors, and madrasa principals as research subjects. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, and data analysis using descriptive analysis. Data analysis was carried out in 3 stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the average increase in the performance of MTs Principals in Sorong City after going through self-assessment included; personality competence by 9%, managerial competence by 9%, entrepreneurial competence by 12%, Supervision competence by 9%, and social competence by 11%.
