Abstract

Teacher competence is a set of knowledge, skills, and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized, and mastered by teachers in carrying out their professional duties. Teacher competencies as learning agents at the primary and secondary education levels as well as early childhood education are: pedagogic, personality, professional, and social competencies. With skill requirements, a teacher must master the skills covering: opening and closing lessons, asking questions, providing reinforcement, and conducting various teaching. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher also acts as a director as well as an actor. This factor is very important so that it is expected to determine the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The type of research used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative type of research. The results of the study obtained that the competence possessed by a teacher in teaching greatly affects the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This paper is made to find out the effect of traditional oray-oryan games on children's social skills. This is motivated because with the advancement of technology, traditional games are starting to be forgotten. With technology, children will focus more on gadgets, laptops and other electronic devices. In addition, the level of addiction to modern games in children is also high so that it affects children's habits and behavior. This writing based on literature study describes the impact what happens to children when they are addicted to playing games which results in the character that will be awakened in children. In addition, this paper also examines the influence of traditional ory-orayan games on children's social skills

Abstract

The learning method by means of lectures is felt to be very boring for students in participating in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of ice breaking in thematic learning for elementary school students. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This type of research is field research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the research shows that the ice breaking technique can be used in thematic learning in elementary schools. The implication of this research is that teachers can apply ice breaking techniques in learning activities, so that learning becomes fun.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberi gambaran mengenai kedudukan Bhineka Tunggal Ika di Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian studi pustaka.  Informasi yang diambil berupa hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan konsep kebhinnekaan dan pandemi Covid-19. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan menelusuri sumber buku, jurnal, dan sumber internet yang relevan. Sebagai bangsa yang memegang teguh semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika sudah sepatutnya bisa mengamalkan semboyan tersebut dalam berbagai hal situasi yang mengancam robohnya persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa. Kebajikan warga negara dalam bentuk mengamalkan dan mengetahui kedudukan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika di kalangan masyarakat dapat dicapai dengan pengetahuan dan kepedulian masyarakat itu sendiri. Kedudukan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika sangat berperan penting dalam memperkokoh Persatuan dan Kesatuan Negara Republik Indonesia di masa pandemi seperti ini. Dengan menerapkan konsep Bhinneka Tunggal Ika dengan kebersamaan tanpa membeda-bedakan, diharapkan kita dapat bersama-sama melawan Covid-19 tanpa membedakan golongan ataupun latar belakang pekerjaan
