Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of learning media in improving students' critical thinking skills in social studies learning in the Higher Class. This type of research is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative research type with library research from research journals in previous years to be used as research subjects. This research is sourced from several journals that are relevant to the topic of the discussion on Learning Media on Social Studies Critical Thinking Skills for Elementary School Students. The results obtained are the use of learning media is very effective and efficient in its use, depending on what learning media is used and the selection of learning media in accordance with the provisions of the social studies material being taught adds to the usefulness of the use of learning media.

Abstract

Teacher competence is a set of knowledge, skills, and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized, and mastered by teachers in carrying out their professional duties. Teacher competencies as learning agents at the primary and secondary education levels as well as early childhood education are: pedagogic, personality, professional, and social competencies. With skill requirements, a teacher must master the skills covering: opening and closing lessons, asking questions, providing reinforcement, and conducting various teaching. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher also acts as a director as well as an actor. This factor is very important so that it is expected to determine the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The type of research used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative type of research. The results of the study obtained that the competence possessed by a teacher in teaching greatly affects the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan krisi karakter yang terjadi pada bangsa Indonesia. Krisis karakter yang terjadi pada masa kini mengakibatkan banyak hal yang merugikan bangsa yang bertentangan secara langsung dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa Indonesia dan cerminan dari karakter bangsa Indonesia. Penulisan artikel ini menjelaskan ancaman dari krisis karakter bangsa dan moral terhadap pengimplementasian nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai dasar negara. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kajian pustaka dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasilnya akan didapatkan cara mengatasi permasalahan krisis karakter dan moral bangsa yang disesuaikan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila.Faktor yang menjadi penyebab krisis karakter yang melibatkan keluarga dan sekolah. Ada beberapa alternatif solusi atau pemecahan masalah dari krisis karakter dan moral ini. Peran keluarga dan sekolah merupakan pelaku pendidikan yang pertama dan utama. Fungsi institusi keluarga yang perlu dioptimalkan, yaitu fungsi spiritual, intelektual, sosial, dan dakwah. Peran institusi sekolah sangat strategis dalam pendidikan karakter dengan mendasarkan pada peran guru. Guru harus mengoptimalkan perannya sebagai pengajar, pengasuh, pendidik dan pembimbing.

Abstract

The City of Serang is preparing for the development of infrastructure and road networks, so that every region in Serang City can be well integrated. The city of Serang is a national activity center, where the urban area functions as the main hub for export-import activities, industrial activity center, as the main transportation node. Serang City needs development supported by infrastructure and road network, so that every area in Serang City can be well integrated. This research was conducted to identify the origin and destination of passengers using air transportation to obtain a model of the distribution of passenger movements in Serang City so that it can be used to predict the distribution of passenger movements in the future. The initial step of this study is to identify the origin and destination of movement in the center of Serang City through the Origin Destination Matrix (MAT). From the MAT it was made with the Detroit method which is used to produce modeling of the distribution of movements determined according to the development of the area in general and the direction of each zone. From the results of this study it can be concluded that most of the generation and attraction movements are from the east.
