Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is an effort made to create a safe, comfortable working atmosphere with the aim of achieving the highest possible productivity. The implementation of K3,KAK,PAK is the responsibility of all related parties and is obliged to play an active role in accordance with their functions and authorities in carrying out various efforts in the field of K3 on an ongoing basis and making K3 a part of the work culture in every activity. Apart from K3, the public's knowledge about the dangers of fire is still common/insufficient even though the danger from fire can cause a lot of losses both material and moral and can also result in death. Knowledge of K3 can provide knowledge to the public so that they are more careful in taking actions that can cause a hazard such as fire. Based on these conditions, we, the Community Service Team at Harapan Bangsa University, Purwokerto, will provide counseling regarding K3 socialization in the Purbalingga eyelash industry sector

Abstract

Drowning is one of the emergency cases in the water and is dangerous and life threatening. The number of deaths due to drowning is due to the inappropriate and inappropriate rescue system and knowledge of handling Basic Life Support (BHD) for drowning victims. The provision of BHD has a big role in determining the success of the help provided. This counseling activity was carried out with lectures, viewing videos on Basic Life Support and question and answer discussions. This activity was carried out on July 26, 2022, attended by fishermen groups around Jetis beach, Cilacap, totaling 30 participants. The results of measuring fishermen's knowledge about BHD have increased the score from before counseling 13.63 to 16.47. counseling using audiovisual media can improve respondents' memory. After the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that the fishermen group will have the skills and have certification in assisting the handling of drowning victims.
