Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the sructures and meanings of prefixmu-, fu-, hi-, mi-, and han- as negation sign. The author chose this title due thelack of explanation and words examples about the using of those prefix asnegation sign in Japanese textbooks, beside that there were still many mistakes inusing prefix mu-, fu-, hi-, mi-, and han-.The method that been used in this research is a descriptive method. To write thisthesis, firstly, the author collected the data, analyzed the data and then presentedthe result. Prefix mu-, fu-, hi-, mi-, and han- can be attached with noun andadjective in kango, wago, gairaigo, and konshugo. Prefix mu-,fu-, and hi- havethe same meaning as ”not” and “without” in Indonesian language, but actuallythey have the other meanings that can differentiate each other.

Abstract

This research is dealing about discourse context and reference. This researchdescribe the discourse context and reference in Advertisement. From context weknow about setting, participant, norms, genre, key, message, ends, and instrument.for analysis of reference of this advertisement was found that personal pronoun 1is (watashi) 4, (anata) 5, (atashi) 1, (ore) 2, (kimi) 1, (kare) 1, and for thepersonal pronoun 3 found (watashitachi) just 1. Next for demonstrative pronounanalysis, found first, (are) 1, (sore) 2, (kore) 3, (sonna) 2, (konna) 2, (soko) 1,(kono) 1, koitsu (2). In the analysis of this advertising is not found comparativepronouns in advertisement.

Abstract

This research discusses about speech act of direct in Japanese comic’sYowamushi Pedal Chapter 87-93. Generally, people know that the meaning ofdirectives is give an order or commanding to someone who communication withus. Truthly, directives has another meaning, it depends on the context andsituation. This research purpose to knowing the meaning of directives based onthe context and situation.This research use descriptive method, illocutionary theory of Searle, and“Model of Speaking” of Hymes theory. The result from this research, show thatthere are 4 classifications meaning of directives. There are commanding,requesting, prohibition, and invite expressions.

Abstract

This thesis is research on any process in which students in seeking employment inJapan. The aim of this research is to understand students preparation in seeking theirfirst job.The methods used in this research are library research and descriptivemethod. The theory used in this study is etnosains and ethnometodology.The results showed that, the preparation of students in Japan with job huntinghas been started from two years before they graduated. Many preparation to be doneby students in order to get their desired job. The result shows that systematicemployee recruitment system in Japan make students more discipline and have betterplan for their future.
