Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design a clove dryer using an oven. This drying system is with a heat source generated from the heating process using wood waste and to speed up the drying process this machine is assisted with a blower to accelerate the propagation of the heat source throughout the room. To measure the temperature using a temperature of temperature Research on a clove drying device using an oven has been carried out. to measure temperature using temperature. The technique used in this research is the experimental method. The results of the clove drying test have been carried out, the results of the drying of cloves with a time of 180 minutes at a temperature of 81 C° with the results of dry cloves. From the results of the calculation of the temperature on the clove dryer using the oven, it is quite good to use for maximum drying results.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research with the Quasy Experiment Design research type which aims to determine the effect of the problem posing learning model on biology learning outcomes regarding biodiversity material in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng. The independent variable of this research is the application of problem posing learning models and conventional learning models, while the dependent variable is student learning outcomes on biodiversity material. The population of this study was all students in class The research data was obtained by giving a test of learning outcomes on biodiversity material in the form of a pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique was carried out using covariate analysis (Anakova). Based on the results of the analysis, P = 0.000 is smaller than α = 0.05. It can be concluded that the application of the problem posing learning model has a significant effect on the biology learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng on biodiversity material. Abstract

The education quality index of a region is inseparable from the quality of human resources occupying that region. Quality human resources are obtained from quality education and quality education will be achieved when the learning process is carried out effectively and efficiently. Learning is said to be effective and efficient when it provides learning outcomes above the specified standards. This requires a creative learning model. Research with the title effectiveness of creative learning models on biology learning outcomes for high school students in Sulawesi, is based on the aim of knowing how much influence the application of creative learning models has on biology subjects at the senior high school level on the island of Sulawesi. The research was carried out by applying the method of meta-analysis using 7 articles from Indonesian journals as research subjects. Based on the research, it was found that the creative learning model was effective or had a positive influence when applied at the XI high school level. If, in terms of the type of creative learning model used, the PBL type has the greatest influence on student learning outcomes and when viewed from the subject matter of the subject matter, creative learning model is most effectively applied to digestive system material

Abstract

Differentiated instruction has become a key focus in the development of education in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the impact of differentiated instruction on student learning outcomes in Indonesia. This teaching approach is tailored to the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. The study employs a meta-analysis method, utilizing 11 articles from Indonesian journals as research subjects. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of differentiated instruction shows positive results in terms of learning materials, educational levels, research regions, different time spans, and types of implementations such as models, approaches, and strategies. The data indicate that differentiated instruction can improve student learning outcomes, as it is one solution for addressing differences in students' learning styles

Abstract

The use of laboratories in science learning plays a crucial role in enhancing students' skills and understanding. However, at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 33 Makassar, the science laboratory has not been utilized optimally. The main inhibiting factor is the lack of understanding among teachers and laboratory assistants in managing and using laboratory equipment. To address this issue, the "Workshop Development Management of Laboratory" was conducted with the aim of improving teachers' and laboratory assistants' skills in laboratory management. The methods used included training, the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and an evaluation of the workshop's effectiveness. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills, with an average satisfaction rate of 89%. The implementation of the established SOP is also expected to enhance the laboratory’s effectiveness in supporting science learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat eskalasi keterampilan komunikasi (lisan, tulisan, dan interpersonal) peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Biologi melalui penerapan kombinasi metode pembelajaran gallery walk dan flipped classroom collaborative learning pada kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 13 Makassar T.P. 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif (PTKK) dan dilaksanakan hingga 2 siklus penelitian. Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada pendekatan lesson study yang bertahap dari siklus satu ke siklus berikutnya. Tahapan dalam satu siklus meliputi: perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (do), pengamatan (see), dan refleksi (reflection). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi untuk mengamati keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik selama proses tindakan pembelajaran. Observer berjumlah 3 Orang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Rata-rata akumulasi keterampilan komunikasi pada awal siklus sebesar 64,83%, kemudian pada akhir siklus 1 sebesar 77,21%, sedangkan pada akhir siklus 2 sebesar 89,96%. Peningkatan sejak adanya perlakuan hingga akhir siklus 2 sebesar 25,13%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kombinasi metode gallery walk dan flipped classroom collaborative learning mampu mengeskalasi keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik pada kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 13 Makassar T.P. 2022/2023.
