Abstract

This study aims to identify students with special learning difficulties in inclusive primary schools and develop assessment models. The research subjects were inclusive elementary school students in Sleman Regency. Methods of collecting data were observation, tests, interviews, and surveys. The results showed that 85 students (18.27%) were identified as having certain learning difficulties. Male students have more specific learning difficulties than female students (55.3%: 44.7%). Specific learning difficulties were found in reading (26 students or 22.10%); in writing (23 students or 19.55%); and in mathematics (36 students or 30.60%). In assessing difficulties in writing, the researchers applied the practice of handwriting (beginner writing), spelling, and expressive writing. Informal and formal assessments were used to identify mathematical difficulties.

Abstract

An influential figure in the field of education in understanding the diversity of children is Bronfenbrenner who suggested ecological theory. This theory offers a multidimensional model to understand the influence of the family, the environment to a larger circle, for example the state economy and politics, as well as a way of understanding the journey of human life from childhood to adulthood. In this theory, the ecological framework allows us to analyze information about individuals and understand systemic relationships over time. In the dynamics of inclusive schools, this theory can provide a basic understanding of student diversity which is increasing day by day in inclusive schools. If we understand this theory, we can find out the various factors that influence the success of inclusive education. In addition, this theory can also be a reference in setting up an environment that is open to differences, considers diversity as something natural, and supports each other on the uniqueness of each individual in the school context.

Abstract

Transformasi budaya untuk sekolah dasar sangat penting diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran. Terutama etnopedagogi dalam berbagai pembelajaran baik Bahasa Jawa maupun mata pelajaran lainnya. Riset ini tujuannya: (1) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa di SD; (2) mendeskripsikan persepsi guru SD terhadap etnopedagogi dan impementasinya; (3) menganalisis kesulitan pembelajaran basa Jawa kurikulum merdeka.  Metode riset ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek riset ini adalah 100 pengajar SD di kabupaten Magelang. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa tema mengenai etnopedagogi yaitu pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang menggabungkan kearifan lokal ke dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Konsep riset menekankan pentingnya menggunakan kearifan lokal, nilai-nilai budaya, dan tradisi masyarakat setempat sebagai basis pembelajaran.  Sebanyak 80 % dari 100 guru menyarakan etnopedagogi penting dipahami dan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka baik muatan lokal maupun lima bidang studi. Kesulitan pembelajaran basa Jawa dalam media dan strategi pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka. Kesulitan dalam mengajarkan dan merencanakan materi pembelajaran wayang, macapat dan aksara Jawa dan parikan.
