Abstract

Abstract: Sports in the era of covid-19 have become a powerful weapon to maintain psychic and physical health for the public. But the question arises, what kind of exercise is good to do in the era of covid-19? Good exercise certainly exercises improves cardiorespiratory and muscle fitness. But sometimes the understanding of physical activity and exercise is still wrong. Physical activity is synonymous with daily activity while exercise is systemized and structured. In addition, regulating the exercise dose including intensity and volume is one of the problems. The purpose of this study is to provide an understanding of the preparation of exercise programs and analyze the enthusiasm of students to take part in self-body weight training. The research method is a survey, the instrument is a questionnaire, and the participants are 34 students of the Semarang Poltekkes male and female genders. The results that student enthusiasm was 60% very high, 38% high, 32% moderate, 21% low, and 1% very low. In conclusion, most students have a high enthusiasm for participating in training, then students state that they understand the content of the material and can compile an exercise program simply by paying attention to the principles of FITT (frequency, intensity, time, and type).

Abstract

Pragmatics is the speaker's intention in communicating between the speaker and the speech partner. Pragmatics is related to signs (symbols) and meaning. Moris 1938 as the founder of the oldest field of pragmatics studies. Aspects in pragmatic studies are language, context, and understanding. Analysis of expressive types on Shabira Alula's TikTok account. This analysis uses a qualitative descriptive method. Expressive speech acts are the intention of the speaker's speech as an evaluation in communication. Some expressive types praise, complain, please, etc. There are types of expressiveness that are not widely known and what they mean, so the aim of this research is to find out the types of expressiveness and why they occur on Shabira Alula's TikTok account. Understanding, listening, and taking notes as data retrieval techniques. The research results show an expressive type based on Shabira Alula's TikTok account video. The benefits of this analysis are expected to know and develop each type of expressiveness. The results of the analysis based on @Shabiraalulaadnan's TikTok video show several types of expressiveness, namely comforting expressiveness, criticizing expressiveness, praising expressiveness, confusion expressiveness, apologizing expressiveness, thanking expressiveness, blaming expressiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze representative speech acts in science education videos on the Fajrul Fx YouTube channel. This video was chosen due to its delivery characteristics that combine elements of science and entertainment, which are considered engaging by viewers. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a pragmatic approach. The research data consists of transcripts from six science education videos, which were analyzed to identify the types of representative speech acts used. The results show that there are 461 representative speech acts in the videos, with the types of speech acts found including stating, acknowledging, reporting, claiming, suggesting, mentioning, complaining, informing, indicating, and speculating. This analysis provides insights into the communication strategies used to convey science material and can contribute to content creators in designing more effective educational videos. The researchers hope that with a deeper understanding of proper language use, students can improve their communication skills and develop knowledge of representative speech acts in the future.
