Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of a code of ethics on discipline and learning for teachers in elementary, junior high and high school education units. This type of research was carried out using research methods used in the literature search from various journals, proceedings and websites. The findings of this research reveal that the application of the teacher's code of ethics in the educational units specified in the discussion is generally very effective. Teachers have developed a code of ethics of professional honesty, obtain information about students, foster a positive school environment, and promote the quality and dignity of their vocation.

Abstract

In the education profession in both private and state educational institutions, there is a code of ethics to uphold the dignity of the profession, to protect and preserve the well-being of its members, to increase the dedication of the members of the profession, to improve the quality of the profession and to improve the quality of the professional organization. With the code of ethics, educational staff, especially TU schools, are expected to be able to function optimally and professionally, especially in managing school administration in an orderly manner. This research aims to decipher the application of the code of ethics of the school's educational staff at SMP Islam Tarbiyyatul Falah. In this research, the author used a qualitative descriptive research approach and type, with data sources from the headmaster of SMP Islam Tarbiyyatul Falah, administrative staff and relevant secondary sources. The result of this research is that the result of the application of the code of ethics of the Educational Personnel is very influential on the performance of the educational personnel in order to obey the regulations that have been set and agreed upon by the principal and all school stakeholders.

Abstract

Educators are an entity that is quite important for the success of the learning system organized by educational institutions. Ethics and professionalism in carrying out mandated tasks are the main things for sustainability in the success of teaching and learning activities. This research is motivated by the success parameters of an educator who is able to apply several attitudes that support and facilitate the delivery of material. This study aims to discuss professional ethics and the professional attitude of Islamic education educators towards the multi-competence of educators at Al Fathimiyah Kindergarten. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques in TK Al Fathimiyah. Observations were made to find out the conditions directly at Al Fathimiyah Kindergarten before conducting interviews. Then documentation is carried out throughout the research event. The conclusion of this study is that the key to success in carrying out teaching and learning activities in educational institutions is to apply ethics and professionalism to support the multi-competencies possessed by educational educators.
