Abstract

Cyberbullying is aggression intentionally and repeatedly carried out in an electronic context, such as Instagram, Facebook, and other social media, against someone who cannot easily defend themself. This quantitative research was conducted on 148 adolescent students in a private school in Central Lampung. This study uses a scale of cyberbullying, bystander, and parental attachment. The result is a linear regression test using JASP 0.16.0. The analysis showed the coefficient of R2 was 0.714, which means that the perception of bystanders and parental attachment can affect cyberbullying by 71.4%. The results of the correlation coefficients of the three variables are equal to the meaning of this study, indicating that there is a relationship with a positive direction between the bystander variable and the parental attachment variable with the cyberbullying variable.

Abstract

Kecemasan sosial merujuk pada kecenderungan seseorang merasakan ketakutan dan ketidaknyamanan yang berlebihan saat berada dalam situasi sosial, yang bagi mahasiswa berdampak pada kesejahteraan emosional serta menghambat kinerja akademis dan sosial mereka. Faktor-faktor seperti ketakutan akan dievaluasi negatif oleh orang lain (fear of negative evaluation) dan ikatan emosional dengan orang tua (parent attachment) dapat memengaruhi perkembangan kecemasan sosial pada seseorang. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan strategi mengelola dan mengatasi kecemasan sosial agar dapat berfungsi secara optimal dalam lingkungan akademik dan sosial mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kemungkinan adanya korelasi antara fear of negative evaluation (FNE) dan parent attachment dengan kecemasan sosial pada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian korelasional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 210 orang mahasiswa dari perguruan tinggi negeri di Lampung yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tiga jenis skala psikologi, yakni The Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS), Brief-Fear of Negative Evaluation (BFNE), dan Inventory Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), melalui kuesioner pada Google Forms. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik korelasi parsial dan regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa fear of negative evaluation dan parent attachment memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kecemasan sosial sehingga hipotesis penelitian dapat diterima.

Abstract

This study investigated the influence of self-efficacy, authoritative parenting, and peer social support on academic stress in full-day senior high school students. The population of this study were all twelfth-grade students from Senior High School X in Lampung, with a total of 330 students. This study involved 140 twelfth-grade students as the participants were selected using a cluster random sampling technique. This study employed an academic stress scale, self-efficacy scale, authoritative parenting scale, and peer social support scale. The data was analyzed by evaluating the outer and inner models. The study employed the Structural Equation Model (SEM) for data analysis using the Smart Partial Least Square 3.3.0 application. The findings of this study include the development of a model of the influence of self-efficacy, authoritative parenting, and peer social support on academic stress that is consistent with empirical data, the absence of an effect of self-efficacy on academic stress, a very significant negative influence between authoritative parenting and academic stress, and a very significant negative influence between peer social support and academic stress. The theoretical model developed in this study is a fit model, which can be used as a valid model reference when addressing academic stress.

Abstract

Self presentation erat kaitannya dengan bagaimana individu mempresentasikan dirinya di depan publik, ingin menunjukkan kesan yang baik di benak orang lain dan positif hal ini berkaitan dengan self conciousness atau kesadaran diri bahwa ia sadar menjadi objek sosial dan ingin dinilai baik, kemudian dengan body image atau citra tubuh yang dimilikinya dan ia  presentasikan  dimedia sosial Instagram.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self consciousness dan body image dengan self presentation pengguna instagram. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 147 Mahasiswa prodi Manajemen Bisnis Syariah UIN Raden Intan Lampung angkatan 2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala self presentation ( = 0,940), skala self consciousness ( = 0,837) dan skala body image ( = 0,828). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan software JASP 16.0 For Windows, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 27,6% dan 72,4 % dipengaruhi faktor diluar penelitian ini. Hipotesis dalam penelitian diterima, yaitu terdapat hubungan self consciousness dan body image dengan self presentation pengguna instagram.

Abstract

Honorary teachers in Indonesia play a crucial role in education but face significant challenges, including low salaries, job insecurity, high workloads, and limited benefits, which often lead to psychological distress and reduced well-being. Employing a quantitative correlational approach, data were collected from 102 honorary junior high school teachers in Bandar Lampung using purposive sampling. Instruments included the Coworker Social Support Scale (32 items, α = 0.910), Gratitude Questionnaire (adapted GQ-6, 29 items), and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS, α = 0.921). Data analysis utilized multiple regression with IBM SPSS 26.0, following tests for normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Results indicate a significant simultaneous relationship between coworker social support and gratitude with life satisfaction (R = 0.759, R² = 0.576, F = 67.183, p < 0.001), contributing 57.6% to variance, with the remainder influenced by other factors. Individually, coworker social support shows a positive significant correlation (r = 0.089, p = 0.002, effective contribution 3.79%), while gratitude exhibits a stronger link (r = 0.713, p < 0.001, effective contribution 53.83%). The regression equation is Y = 15.199 + 0.093X₁ + 0.657X₂. Findings underscore the protective roles of social support and gratitude in enhancing life satisfaction amid occupational hardships. Practically, schools and local education authorities may utilize these findings by designing collegial work-climate strengthening programs, peer-support forums, structured mentoring systems, and gratitude-based reflective activities integrated into teacher development initiatives. Such programs may serve as preventive strategies to promote teachers’ psychological well-being. Future research is encouraged to incorporate additional variables, such as work-life balance, using mixed methods approaches.

Abstract

Social media, particularly TikTok, plays a major role in shaping idealized beauty standards through intense and repetitive visual content. Continuous exposure to unrealistic ideals (e.g., slim body shape, fair skin, and “proportional” facial features) may encourage social comparison and contribute to negative body evaluation, leading to dissatisfaction with one’s ideal appearance. This condition can affect not only intrapersonal well-being but also interpersonal functioning, especially the way students perceive their social acceptance within peer and academic environments. This study aimed to examine the relationship between ideal appearance dissatisfaction and perceived social acceptance among university students who actively use TikTok. A quantitative approach with a survey design was employed. Participants were 150 university students aged 18–25 years who reported active TikTok use. Data were collected using a 50-item Likert-scale questionnaire measuring ideal appearance dissatisfaction and social acceptance. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS. The Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant and strong relationship between ideal appearance dissatisfaction and perceived social acceptance (r = 0.624, p = 0.000 < 0.05). The findings indicate that higher levels of dissatisfaction with ideal appearance are associated with lower levels of perceived social acceptance among students. These results underline the importance of strengthening self-acceptance, improving media literacy, and promoting responsible TikTok use to reduce maladaptive social comparison and support students’ mental health and social functioning. Future interventions may focus on psychoeducation and campus-based counseling programs that encourage healthy body image and adaptive coping strategies in the digital era.
