Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in abnormal returns generated by the company before and after mergers and acquisitions. Measurement variables used in this study is Cumulative Abnormal Return (CAR) which is divided into several event window that is CAR-20,-2; CAR0; CAR1, - 1; and CAR2, 20. It is also used abnormal return for each day during 41 days of observation. The study found no significant abnormal return on announcement of mergers and acquisitions. Other results show, there were no differences in abnormal return for each event window periods being compared. While on the daily abnormal stock returns for 41 days were compared in pairs, obtained the result that there are significant differences in abnormal return in a few days before and after mergers and acquisitions

Abstract

This training was intended for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Danukusuman Surakarta. It aims to improve SMEs' basic understanding of digital marketing, introduce SMEs to various digital marketing tools, provide practical skills in using digital media for promotion, and encourage business actors to start utilizing online platforms optimally. The activity results showed that participants were enthusiastic about participating in the training They received training materials from the basics and were able to directly practice the material that had been taught about the basic concepts of digital marketing, the benefits, and the differences with conventional marketing. They can practice directly with their products by taking pictures of their respective products and getting direct feedback. This digital marketing training is very helpful for SMEs to prepare themselves to face challenges in the digital era. As long as the training activities show that the participants respond well, the material provided is practical and can be applied directly by SMEs, which can motivate SMEs to develop their businesses online.

Abstract

This study aims to find out empirically and analyze the influence of relationship-oriented leadership behavior and HR management on work ethic through Employee Retention at the Department of Transportation, Sukoharjo Regency. The population in this study were 75 employees at the Department of Transportation in Sukoharjo Regency. The sample method was a census with a sample size of 75 respondents. The analysis technique used is to use the path analysis test, t test, F test, test the coefficient of determination and correlation analysis. The results of the hypothesis test show that relationship-oriented leadership behavior has a positive and significant effect on retention. HR management has a positive and significant effect on retention. Relationship-oriented leadership behavior has a negative and insignificant effect on work ethic. HR management has a positive and significant effect on work ethics. Retention has a positive and significant effect on work ethic. The results of the F test together with relationship-oriented leadership behavior variables, HR management and retention have a significant effect on work ethic. The results of the calculation of the total R2 value of 0.815 can be interpreted as variations in the work ethic of employees at the Sukoharjo Regency Transportation Service explained by the relationship-oriented leadership behavior variables, HR management and retention of 81.5% and the remaining 18.5% explained by other variables outside the research model as examples of abilities work and communication. Conclusion Direct and Indirect Influence illustrates that the direct path of HR management on work ethic is the dominant or effective path to improve work ethic.
