Abstract

The development of digital technology today encourages innovation in learning, including in Islamic Religion courses. Digital learning and collaborative discussion methods are considered to increase student understanding and active involvement, especially in a university environment that has distance learning needs such as PSDKU Brawijaya University Kediri. However, optimizing this method is still a challenge due to the diverse backgrounds of students. This research aims to optimize the application of digital learning in collaborative discussion method in Islamic Religion course. Another objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of this learning model in improving students' understanding and active participation. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. Data were collected through classroom observation, interviews with lecturers and students, and analysis of the results of collaborative discussion assignments. The results showed that the integration of various digital applications such as Wordwall, Canva, Quizizz, PowerPoint, YouTube, and Spin Wheel successfully increased student participation and engagement in the learning process. These applications not only facilitate interaction between students but also encourage the development of a deeper understanding of the material with interactive and engaging learning methods. Wordwall and Quizizz proved effective in providing a quiz experience that supports gamification-based learning, while Canva and PowerPoint were used to enrich the visual material so that it is easier to understand. The use of YouTube as an audio-visual medium supports students' in-depth understanding of concepts, while Spin Wheel adds an element of engagement in randomized question and answer sessions, making the classroom atmosphere more dynamic. This approach shows that the application of digital media in collaborative discussions has great potential to improve the quality of learning, especially in courses that require understanding of concepts and values such as Islamic Religion.

Abstract

The concept of Hubbul Wathan Minal Iman in Islamic Religious Education is a spirit that upholds nationalism, culture, nationhood and religion. One of the unique traditions in this country is the celebration of the ceremony for the dead, known as the Rambu Solo' ceremony. This research aims to integrate and interconnect the Hubbul Wathan Minal Iman Concept with the Rambu Solo’ Traditional Ceremony. This research uses qualitative methods with a theoretical-descriptive approach. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Rambu Solo’ ceremony for the Toraja people consists of 7 stages which are based on Aluk Todolo. Religious moderation in this research can be seen in the way the Torajan people, who are predominantly Christian, maintain harmony with Islamic teachings about nationalism and love of the homeland, as well as how the traditions that are strongly held by the community remain in line with tolerant religious principles. This article will also analyze how traditional ceremonies that have local cultural roots can become a space to strengthen religious moderation, while still recognizing the diversity of beliefs within a community.

Abstract

Education is a complex and continuous process that involves the transfer of knowledge, skills, values and culture from one generation to the next. The teaching and learning process is an investment in character building, creativity and leadership. Education is also a major milestone in shaping the entrepreneurial character of students based on innovation by utilizing local wisdom. Local wisdom itself has not been fully developed and well managed, especially local wisdom in remote and underdeveloped areas. Education in Indonesia is currently facing a number of challenges that can affect the effectiveness of the education system as a whole. Some of the problems that can be identified are the existence of educational inequality in various regions, the high unemployment rate after graduating from school, the lack of educators, the lack of learning materials at school, and the immature character education of students. This writing aims to find out and explain how the Educulture Entrepreneurship strategy in improving the quality of education in Indonesia is analyzed from the Sustainable Development Goals. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and literature studies from several sources of books and relevant scientific articles. The result of this research is that collaboration between education, local wisdom, and entrepreneurship is an effective way to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.
