Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah 1) upaya kepala sekolah dalam mengefektifkan kinerja tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan di SMA Negeri 2 Pare Kabupaten Kediri; 2) Sejumlah faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam upaya Kepala Sekolah mengefektifkan kinerja tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan di SMA Negeri 2 Pare Kabupaten Kediri, dan 3) hasil yang dicapai dari upaya-upaya kepala sekolah dalam mengefektifkan kinerja tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan di SMA Negeri 2 Pare Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan sejumlah fenomena yang ada di lapangan. Hasil dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Kepala Sekolah berperan sebagai Educator (pendidik), Manajer, Administrator, Supervisor, pemimpin (Leader), Innovator, dan Motivator (2) Faktor pendukung: Jumlah tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang besar, Jumlah siswa yang besar, Sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap, Status sekolah negeri. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya meliputi adanya konflik antar anggota organisasi sekolah, kompleksitas permasalahan layanan, administrasi inventarisasi barang, dan lemahnya dukungan masyarakat (3) Hasil dari upaya kepala sekolah mengefektifkan kinerja tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan adalah Jumlah siswa yang terus meningkat, Pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap, Peningkatan jenjang taraf pendidikan para tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, Peningkatan prestasi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan akademik dan non akademik baik ditingkat daerah maupun ditingkat Nasional.   Kata Kunci: Efektifitas Kinerja; Tenaga Pendidik; Sekolah. Abstract The focus of this research is 1) the principal's efforts to streamline the performance of teaching and education staff in Senior High School 2 Pare; 2) A number of supporting and inhibiting factors in the efforts of the Principal to streamline the performance of teaching and education personnel at Senior High School 2 Pare, and 3) the results achieved from the efforts of the principal in making the performance of teachers and education personnel effective at Senior High School 2 Pare. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach in order to describe or describe a number of phenomena that exist in the field. The results and data analysis can be concluded that (1) the principal acts as an educator (educator), manager, administrator, supervisor, leader (leader), innovator, and motivator (2) supporting factors: large number of educators and education personnel, number of students large, complete facilities and infrastructure, status of public schools. While the inhibiting factors include the existence of conflicts between members of the school organization, the complexity of service problems, the administration of inventory of goods, and weak community support. , Increasing the level of education of teaching staff and education, Increasing the achievement of teaching staff and academic and non-academic both at the regional and national levels. Keywords: Performance Effectiveness; Teacher; School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of democracy Education on efforts to handle, prevent, and recover from post-economic, political, and social conflicts in East Java, precisely in Kediri Regency. The research method used is qualitative. The research technique used is joint research that is the normative-empirical study and social science to know how the implementation of the democracy education of the people of Kediri Regency. The findings revealed that the application of democracy education had an impact on the economic, political, and social conflict management of the people of Kediri Regency. Especially from the life of the town during the General Election period, Regional Head Election, and Village Head Election, which seemed more peaceful than in the Era of Political Dynasty. The economic and social life of the community is much better now, especially during the social distancing policy, the town can survive economically and get involved in handling Covid-19. Kediri regency shows that social tolerance is extreme. This research contributes to the future of the legal and policy bodies of the local government of the Kediri regency in handling economic, political, and social conflicts that exist in the community. In the end, the law and the democratic system can minimize intolerance and lawless behavior that can hamper economic development.

Abstract

Abstract

Leadership style is a behavioral norm used by a leader when he tries to influence the behavior of people or subordinates as they see it. This was also shown by the leader of SMA Islam Plus Hidayatut Thullab Semen Kediri who always carried out leadership behavior in carrying out his duties as school principal. The focus of this research discusses 1) The tendency to use sources of power in the leadership behavior of the Islamic Senior High School Plus Hidayatut Thullab Petuk Semen Kediri school principal. 2) Tendency of leadership behavior of the head of SMA Islam Plus Hidayatut Thullab Petuk Semen Kediri. Several aspects of this study used descriptive qualitative research, and in the process of collecting data the researchers used the methods of observation, documentation, and interviews. As for the analysis, the researcher used the Milles and Huberman technique. The results of the study 1) In the practice of leadership, the principal of SMA Islam Plus Hidayatut Thullab Petuk Semen Kediri turned out to be an Expert Power who tends to have a dominant influence on his subordinates. 2). The leadership behavior of the head of SMA Islam Plus Hidayatut Thullab Semen Kediri in carrying out his duties as a principal is leadership behavior that is oriented towards fostering group cohesiveness in carrying out a number of school activities at SMA Islam Plus Hidayatut Thullab Petuk Semen Kediri such as: compromizzing, gatekeeping and encouraging behavior

Abstract

In the current era of globalization and modernization, competition for quality and excellence cannot be avoided. So that in this era it is not enough if you only have good morals, but you also need to be equipped with expertise or skills that are relevant to work needs. Islamic boarding schools as non-formal educational institutions are also expected to be able to equip students in real life to solve problems that will be faced later in social life and be able to compete in this era. On the basis of this background, the researcher posed the following research questions: (1) what are the life skills development activities of salafi students (2) what is the role of Islamic boarding schools in developing the life skills of salafi students. This research is a qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. As for data analysis using flow model analysis which includes: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) Life skill development activities at the Tahfizhil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School are integrated into activities in the boarding school, such as bahsu matsa-il, deliberations, muhadoroh, extracurriculars, and others. (2) The Tahfidzil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School for Girls according to its function acts as a facilitator and educates the development of life skills of student.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Supervision of Madrasah Heads in Improving Professional Teachers of Mts Al Mahrusiyah Lirboyo Kediri City. To make a professional teacher, a teacher not only improves his competence through his participation in upgrading activities organized by educational institutions, as well as training activities to gain knowledge of learning alone, but other factors that must be considered by the madrasah head is how efforts are made in improving teacher discipline. This research uses a type of field research, with a qualitative approach, the subject of the research consists of the head of the madrassa, staff, and IPAI teachers.The data collection technique is taken from interviews, documentation, and observation. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the first implementation of supervision carried out by the head of Madrasah in improving the professional competence of teachers at MTs Al Mahrusiyah through work supervision and the beginning of the year, supervision of teacher administration, supervision of the implementation of learning through observation by directly entering the classroom directly. Second, the implications or results after implementing madrasah head supervision in improving teacher professionalism carried out by the head of MTs Al Mahrusiyah Lirboyo that some teachers in the madrasah already have criteria such as having talent as a teacher, having expertise as a teacher, having a healthy mentality, being able-bodied, having extensive experience and knowledge.

Abstract

This article discusses the contribution of women to the renewal of the social system during the time of the Prophet Muhammad using Anthony Giddens' perspective. The main objective of this article is to analyze the active role of women in the social changes that occurred at that time, as well as to describe how their contributions shaped social transformation in Arab society at the time of Prophet Muhammad. The research method used is literature analysis by collecting and examining various relevant textual sources, including the Quran, Hadith, and Anthony Giddens' works on social change. This approach enabled us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of women in specific social and historical contexts. The results of the analysis show that women played a significant role in the process of social renewal during Prophet Muhammad. They were not only involved in religious struggles, but also contributed to various areas of life, including politics, economics, and education. Women also play an important role in supporting changes in social norms, including gender equality and the protection of women's rights. Anthony Giddens' perspective in this analysis provides a broader understanding of the role of women in social change. Concepts such as agency, social structure, and reflective action help explain how women contribute to shaping and changing the existing social systems. This study makes an important contribution to the understanding of the role of women in social history and development. Understanding the contribution of women in reforming the social system during the time of Prophet Muhammad can provide inspiration and insight for inclusive and equitable social development efforts.

Abstract

The development of digital technology today encourages innovation in learning, including in Islamic Religion courses. Digital learning and collaborative discussion methods are considered to increase student understanding and active involvement, especially in a university environment that has distance learning needs such as PSDKU Brawijaya University Kediri. However, optimizing this method is still a challenge due to the diverse backgrounds of students. This research aims to optimize the application of digital learning in collaborative discussion method in Islamic Religion course. Another objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of this learning model in improving students' understanding and active participation. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. Data were collected through classroom observation, interviews with lecturers and students, and analysis of the results of collaborative discussion assignments. The results showed that the integration of various digital applications such as Wordwall, Canva, Quizizz, PowerPoint, YouTube, and Spin Wheel successfully increased student participation and engagement in the learning process. These applications not only facilitate interaction between students but also encourage the development of a deeper understanding of the material with interactive and engaging learning methods. Wordwall and Quizizz proved effective in providing a quiz experience that supports gamification-based learning, while Canva and PowerPoint were used to enrich the visual material so that it is easier to understand. The use of YouTube as an audio-visual medium supports students' in-depth understanding of concepts, while Spin Wheel adds an element of engagement in randomized question and answer sessions, making the classroom atmosphere more dynamic. This approach shows that the application of digital media in collaborative discussions has great potential to improve the quality of learning, especially in courses that require understanding of concepts and values such as Islamic Religion.

Abstract

Integrasi kurikulum pesantren dan madrasah merupakan solusi untuk menciptakan pembelajaran Islam yang holistik. Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi integrasi kurikulum dalam pembelajaran fiqih di MTs Al-Hikmah 2 Purwoasri menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi menggunakan Connected Model dari Fogarty dengan alokasi 2 jam khusus untuk kurikulum pondok dari 8 jam pembelajaran. Materi fiqih Kemenag diperkaya dengan kitab kuning (Fathul Qorib), menggunakan kombinasi metode tradisional pesantren dan modern. Sistem penilaian holistik mencakup domain kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik dengan persyaratan khusus tamtaman, pembacaan kitab, dan muhafadoh. Integrasi terbukti efektif menciptakan keseimbangan kurikulum nasional dan tradisi pesantren.

Abstract

This article aims to understand in depth the motives for the construction of the Cheng Ho Mosque. This article uses qualitative research methods and data collection techniques, documentation, and direct observation by using a cross-disciplinary research model. There are two motives found, namely the motive of reason and motive of purpose. The motive behind the construction of this mosque is the fear and trauma related to sentiment towards the Chinese ethnic caused by the past experiences of the Chinese ethnic. While on the motive of the goal, the researcher found that the meaning of the goal is that PITI wants to get a lot of support to get a sense of security. The existence of the Cheng Ho mosque has become a significant icon that can introduce the presence of Chinese Muslims.
