Abstract

This study aims to determine research trends regarding zakat efficiency topic, assess research collaboration relationships, and identify future research directions. The 52 sample articles published between 2011-2022 on zakat efficiency analyzed by qualitative and quantitative approaches, namely Bibliometric and Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methods. This research uses VosViewers software. It is known that the four sub-themes that dominate research related to zakat efficiency are: Collection and distribution of zakat, Zakat efficiency, Zakat governance, and Zakat performance. This study implies that there is still little research on zakat efficiency theme. Malaysia is the country that has published the most articles about zakat efficiency topic.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to use the Malmquist Productivity Index to figure out how well zakat institutions in Indonesia manage waqf funds. The objects of this study consist of six Zakat institutions in Indonesia, and the data used in this research comes from the annual reports of these institutions during the 2017–2021 period. The input variables in this study include salary expenses, operating expenses, and total assets. Meanwhile, output variables include collected waqf funds and distributed waqf. The results of the study found that the Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) score for each Zakat institution explained that the level of productivity of Zakat institutions in managing waqf funds fluctuated from year to year. In general, the level of work done by zakat institutions has gone down. This is because efficiency and technology have changed. Analysis during the COVID-19 pandemic found that the productivity of Zakat institutions managing waqf funds before the pandemic had a higher level of productivity than during the pandemic. And analysis of the Malmquist Index quadrant shows that Zakat Institutions managing waqf funds dominate in quadrant 3, with a total of 3 Zakat Institutions, and quadrant 4, with the same number of Zakat Institutions, namely 3 institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of research "Islamic Audit” around the world published by journals with that theme. This study used a qualitative method with a blibliometric analysis approach. The data used is secondary data with the theme "Islamic Audit” which comes from the Scopus database. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the research development blibliometric map "Islamic Audit". Based on the bibliometric keyword mapping, there are 6 clusters that can be research lines. The 6 clusters are (1) Shariah audit governance, (2) Development of Islamic audit control, (3) Shariah compliance for Islamic audit, (4) Corporate governance in Islamic auditing, (5) Audit report lag and extent in Islamic auditing, and (6) Risk management in Islamic audit. Then the words most used are shariah audit, effectiveness, system, Islamic financial institution, governance, and shariah compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of research "Halal Medical Tourism” around the world published by journals with that theme. This study used a qualitative method with a blibliometric analysis approach. The data used is secondary data with the theme "Halal Medical Tourism” which comes from the Scopus database of 101 published journals. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the research development blibliometric map "Halal Medical Tourism" in this world. The results of the study found that countries that contributed a lot to research "Halal Medical Tourism" are Malaysia, Indonesia, the United States, South Korea, Australia and China. Furthermore, based on the bibliometric keyword mapping, there are 4 clusters that are research lines namely: Development of halal medical tourism, Halal compliance in halal medical tourism, Halal medical tourism destinations and Halal medical tourism services. The most used words are tourism, service, medical tourism, hospital, destination, attitude, product, and Muslim tourist.

Abstract

This study aims to measure tourism productivity in Indonesia using the Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) method with the 2010-2020 research period. The research object used is 34 provinces in Indonesia. The data for this research comes from the annual APBD report in each province. The input variables in this study are the economic sector budget and the tourism and cultural budget. While the output is tourism and culture. The results of this study explain that during the 2015-2020 period, the productivity level of provincial tourism in Indonesia has a fluctuating trend from year to year. Based on the average TFPCH score, it is concluded that tourism productivity has shown a decline and technological change has not contributed optimally to increasing tourism productivity in Indonesia. Furthermore, tourism productivity when the Covid-19 pandemic occurred was still declining. Then, analysis of the Malmquist Index quadrant shows that the provinces of Indonesia dominate quadrant 3, namely 22 provinces, which are then followed by quadrant 4 with a total of 12 provinces.

Abstract

Wealth has an important role in human life. For this reason, the role of good asset management is indispensable. Good wealth management is highly recommended in Islam. The purpose of this research is to see the development of IWM research around the world which is published by journals with that theme. This study used a qualitative method with a blibliometric analysis approach. The data used consists of 90 Scopus indexed research publications, then processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the research development blibliometric map Islamic Wealth Management in this world. The results of the research explain related authors, institutions, countries and related keywords Islamic Wealth Management. Furthermore, the results of the bibliometric analysis author mapping Judging from the density of clusters, it shows the most authors publish their work on the theme Islamic Wealth Management are Muhamad n.h.n; Bakar, a.a. Abdullah a; Mirakhor a; Hanifm; Dan Alam n. The most publications related to IWM are INCEIF, Malaysia; Kansas State University, United; and Universiti Utara Malaysia. And for the countries with the most publications are Malaysia, Indonesia and the United States. Then, bibliometric analysis keywords mapping, four clusters were obtained which later became the research path.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of research "Islamic Financial Planning” around the world and research plans that can be carried out based on journals published on that theme. This study used a qualitative method with a bibliometric analysis approach. The data used is secondary data with the theme "Islamic Financial Planning” which comes from the Scopus database with a total of 114 journal articles. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the research development blibliometric map "Islamic Financial Planning" in this world. The results of the study found that in the author mapping bibliometrics the author published the most research with the theme "Islamic Financial Planning” is Kamaruddin, M.I.H; Shahimi, S; Shahriar, K; Andayani, S; Bijma, H.H; and Aggarwal A. Furthermore, based on bibliometric keyword mapping, there are 5 clusters that can be research lines with topics related to principles and practice, family planning, impact of Covid-19 on financial sustainability, Islamic banking, and Entrepreneurship, Personal Health, and for the most used words are performance, family planning, bank, Islamic banking, and zakat.

Abstract

This study used a qualitative method with a blibliometric analysis approach. The data used is secondary data with the theme "Ibnu Khaldun Economic Thought” which comes from the Dimension database. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using the VosViewer application with the aim of knowing the research development blibliometric map "Ibnu Khaldun Economic Thought" in this world. The results of the study found on bibliometrics author mapping author of the most published research on the themeIbnu Khaldun Economic Thought namely Akhmad Affandi, Siti Khatijah Ismail, Azlin Alisa Ahmad, Nor Syafinaz Md Safar, Amirul Hakim, Khadijah Isa, and Hairul Azlan Annuar. Then, the authors' organizations that contributed the most were Fatih University and University of Illinois Springfield, La Trobe University, Professor of Economic History, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, ​​Spain, and University College, Dublin, Ireland. Furthermore, based on the bibliometric keyword mapping, the most used words are khaldun, history, poverty, and corporate tax rate, and the trending keywords that frequently appear and are updated are Corporate Tax Rate, Urban Planning, Sustainable Development.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the development of "Islamic Marketing" research around the world and research plans that can be carried out based on journals published on the theme. This research uses a qualitative method with a bibliometric analysis approach. Furthermore, based on bibliometric keyword mapping, there are 3 clusters that can be a research path with topics related to (1)Islamic Marketing and Its Impact on the Business, Consumption and Tourism Industries, (2)Banking Industry and Islamic Marketing and (3)Islamic Marketing and Customer Loyalty. Abstract

This research aims to ascertain the efficiency levels of BPRs (Rural Banks) and BPRSs (Islamic Rural Banks) within the province of D.I. Yogyakarta. The sample utilized in this study comprises 49 BPR and 12 BPRS situated in D.I. Yogyakarta, spanning the research period of 2017-2021. The analytical approach employed is the non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), utilizing secondary data sourced from bank financial reports. The determination of input and output variables in this study adopts an intermediary approach. The input variables encompass fixed assets, operational expenses, and third-party funds, while the output variables encompass the quantity of disbursed financing and operational income.The findings of this research reveal a fluctuating trend within BPRs and BPRSs in Yogyakarta over the course of years. Based on the CRS (Constant Returns to Scale) and VRS (Variable Returns to Scale) scores, it is discernible that the efficiency levels of both BPRs and BPRSs experienced a reduction during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study's insights have the potential to stimulate informed decision-making and policy refinement, ultimately fostering a more robust financial sector and bolstering economic recovery efforts in the post-Covid-19 landscape.
