Abstract

This researach discusses the Study of the Principal's Leadership Strategy in Improving the Quality of Education at SDN Telluwanua District, Palopo City. the problem in this study is the lack of management of school principals in improving the quality of education. This study aims to determine the leadership management of school principals in the delivery of education and the impact of educational outcomes at SDN Telluwanua District, Palopo City. The type and research approach used is descriptive quantitative. The source of the data used is primary data obtained from interview instruments with respondents, namely the principal, educators and teaching staff at SDN 18 Maroangin, SDN 52 Salutete and SDN 51 Sumarambu. The results of this study showed that 1. The strategy for improving the quality of education at SDN Telluwanua District, Palopo City began with the commitment of the school principal to improve the quality of education by planning a strategy, followed by improving the school's organizational structure, increasing the competence of educators and education staff, increasing student achievement, fulfillment of facilities infrastructure, building cooperative networks, creating independent school programs and evaluating educators, education staff and school programs. 2. The impact of educational outcomes at SDN schools in Telluwanua District, Palopo City, is that teacher competence has increased, graduation rates and graduate absorption have increased, school performance and school image have increased and facilities and infrastructure have begun to be fulfilled. The implication of this research is that by referring to the results of this study, it is better if the leadership management of school principals in improving the quality of education is increased again from before so that the goals of education in schools can be achieved effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of teaching materials for traditional games based on the local wisdom of Tana Luwu. The aim is to analyze needs, develop, validate, and evaluate the practicality of the developed teaching materials. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, albeit only reaching the implementation stage (trial). Research instruments involve teacher interviews and student questionnaires. The produced teaching materials are validated by three validators (design, content, language). Data analysis incorporates both qualitative and quantitative methods. The needs analysis indicates that students at SDN 92 Karetan require teaching materials for local traditional games. The teaching materials are in print form and are validated by experts with an average percentage of 90.21%. The practicality questionnaire for students reveals a practicality level of 90.22%, categorized as highly practical. In conclusion, after undergoing the development stages, these teaching materials are deemed suitable for enhancing students' understanding in the school learning process.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Savings Movement at SDN 268 Towuti as a strategic effort to strengthen character education, with a particular focus on fostering honesty among students. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research investigates how systematic planning, structured implementation, and active collaboration among stakeholders have contributed to positive behavioral changes. Key strategies include organized program management, integration of honesty into school routines, and strong coordination between teachers and parents. The program introduced creative initiatives such as market simulations, student-led financial reports, and a reward system to instill financial responsibility and ethical values. Findings reveal that the program effectively nurtured core character traits such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, independence, and social awareness. Daily saving practices, routine monitoring, and consistent communication between home and school supported the internalization of these values. Market simulations provided practical experiences in accountability and entrepreneurship, while the documentation of financial transactions taught transparency and reinforced integrity. The reward system further motivated students to maintain honest behaviors and allowed for parental involvement in the learning process. The study concludes that the Savings Movement presents a practical, replicable model for integrating character education into school systems. It demonstrates how embedding moral values into daily school activities, supported by structured strategies and community involvement, can lead to sustainable character development. This model offers valuable insights for educators seeking innovative approaches to embed character education into formal learning environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran, untuk mendeskripsikan media pembelajaran, menguji validasi dan praktikalitas media pembelajaran berbasis permainan tradisional engklek, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 41 Batu Putih Kota Palopo dengan subjek penelitian sejumlah 16 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Wawancara, angket, dokumentasi dan lembar validasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis permainan tradisional engklek. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan yang diperoleh dari angket peserta didik sebesar 96 persen. Untuk hasil validasi dari 3 validator (Media, Materi dan Bahasa), produk ini mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 90 persen dengan kategori sangat valid. Selanjutnya untuk uji praktikalitas diperoleh dari guru sebesar 96 persen dan dari peserta didik mendapatkan nilai sempurna 100 persen, keduanya memenuhi kriteria praktis.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan penelitian yang mengkaji pengembangan bahan ajar dengan bentuk cerita bergambar berdasarkan nilai-nilai keislaman tema keluargaku subtema anggota keluargaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi analisis kebutuhan, merancang bahan ajar, dan mengevaluasi validitas dan kepraktisan bahan ajar cerita bergambar berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman tema keluargaku subtema anggota keluargaku. Studi ini merupakan penelitian tipe R&D (Research and Development) yang mengadopsi model pengembangan 4D (Four-D). Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas I SDN 230 Tondok Tangnga, sementara objek penelitian adalah bahan ajar berupa cerita bergambar yang telah dikembangkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar wawancara juga kuisioner. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan cara deskriptif bagi data kualitatif dan berbantuan rumus likert bagi data kuantitatif. Studi ini menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa bahan ajar buku cerita bergambar dengan hasil penilaian ahli agama 97,5% (kategori valid), ahli desain dengan nilai 81,6% (kategori valid), dan ahli bahasa dengan nilai 78,3% (kategori cukup valid). Hasil uji praktikalitas menunjukkan nilai persentase 82% ( kategori sangat praktis). Implikasinya, bahan ajar buku cerita bergambar ini dapat diandalkan sebagai sumber pendidikan yang valid dan praktis, sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran bagi siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational communication and conflict management strategies used by the principal to improve the discipline of educators and staff at MTsN 1 Luwu. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and case study design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The results show that the principal uses open and thorough communication via various formal and informal channels to foster harmonious working relationships. Conflict management strategies include participatory approaches, mediation, and dialogue-based resolution, which effectively reduce misunderstandings and promote compliance with institutional rules. The principal’s motivation for managing communication and conflict stems from the desire to create a supportive and professional work environment focused on improving educational quality. These findings suggest that effective communication and conflict management directly and positively influence the discipline level among teachers and staff. The study recommends enhancing school leadership skills in interpersonal communication and conflict resolution as key strategies for educational management.
