Abstract

Along with the rapid advancement of technology development led to the amount of information available is also increasingly abundant. The aim of this study was to determine how the implementation of information retrieval system in the classification of the journal by using the cosine similarity and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). The data used as many as 160 documents with categories such as Physical Sciences and Engineering, Life Science, Health Science, and Social Sciences and Humanities. Construction stage begins with the use of text mining processing, the weighting of each token by using the term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF), calculate the degree of similarity of each document by using the cosine similarity and classification using k-Nearest Neighbor.Evaluation is done by using the testing documents as much as 20 documents, with a value of k = {37, 41, 43}. Evaluation system shows the level of success in classifying documents on the value of k = 43 with a value precision of 0501. System test results showed that 20 document testing used can be classified according to the actual category.

Abstract

Penggunaan electronic Government (e-Government) berupa media sosial oleh pemerintah daerah digunakan untuk meningkatkan interaksi antara pemerintah dengan masyarakat. Namun pada kenyataannya, layanan e-Government berupa media sosial ini masih belum mendapatkan respon dari masyarakat. Dengan demikian, diperlukan strategi variasi posting yang digunakan berupa video, gambar, atau teks untuk memperoleh respons dari masyarakat berupa like pada media sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis 39 media sosial pemerintah daerah yang paling aktif berdasarkan like dan analisis sentimen masyarakat. Metode pengumpulan data dengan teknik crawling menggunakan API Facebook. Data terbagi menjadi tiga kategori di antaranya adalah gambar, video, dan teks. Temuan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah posting yang berupa video dalam media sosial lebih banyak memperoleh respon positif daripada posting yang berupa gambar dan teks. Selain itu, berdasarkan analisis sentimental masyarakat, tingkat sentimen pada halaman Facebook pemerintah daerah di Indonesia tergolong positif

Abstract

Abstract: It is necessary to expand social media's involvement in higher education branding, especially for vocational school. This promotional and branding is consistent with the Ministry of Education and Culture's vision. All vocational education institutes are supported and urged by the Director-General of Vocational Studies to inform the public about their advantages constantly. Undoubtedly, a social media management team is needed to manage this. It should be noted that the difficulties ahead are not becoming any simpler. Therefore, it has become more important than ever to work with the leadership of the vocational faculty's social media team. The researcher assumed that TOE and leadership shamans could be sufficient to raise public awareness of the Airlangga University Vocational Faculty's increased branding efforts. Purpose: The function of social media management implementation cannot be isolated from the effect of numerous parties and instruments. The TOE framework describes the management and motivation of social media adoption as a lens. Methodology: Case studies were used in this research. This research employs qualitative methodologies in data collecting through interviews: interviews and document searches to provide a clear image of the Vocational Faculty's social media team implementation at Universitas Airlangga. Findings: Besides being supported by technological, organizational, and environmental factors, the leadership's participation is worthy of discussion. The leadership did not hesitate to discuss and decide the direction of the social media team of the Vocational Faculty of Airlangga University.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat memungkinkan untuk memperoleh berbagai macam informasi dimanapun dan kapanpun ia berada. Hal tersebut tentu sangat mempengaruhi pola konsumsi masyarakat baik di Indonesia maupun dunia. Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara berkembang dengan potensinya sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata baik lokal maupun mancanegara, tentu sangat bergantung dengan pola konsumsi yang ada pada era informasi saat ini. Fenomena konsumtif di era informasi ini sangat berpotensi dalam meningkatkan performa dari adanya potensi objek wisata di suatu wilayah. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan pelatihan teknis diharapkan mampu meningkatkan potensi Desa Sajen sebagai salah satu obyek pariwisata di Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Desa Sajen sendiri memiliki potensi dalam pariwisata yang didukung selain dari sumber daya alamnya, juga didukung dengan potensi-potensi kerajinan dari sumber daya manusia yang ada dan tinggal di Desa Sajen tersebut. Melalui pengabdian masyarakat ini, selain menunjang potensi pariwisata Desa Sajen melalui platform teknologi informasi, juga didukung dengan diadakannya pelatihan teknis mengenai pengelolaan teknologi informasi dan pemasarannya kepada warga Desa Sajen untuk dapat memaksimalkan potensi pariwisata Desa Sajen tersebut. Melalui Prodi D-3 Sistem Informasi mengembangkan sebuah portal online desa sebagai bentuk peningkatan exposure dari informasi dan potensi desa Sajen kepada masyarakat Indonesia.

Abstract

This study analyzes the online interactions of government Instagram accounts in East Java, Indonesia, focusing on the effectiveness of different content types on this social media platform. Digital platforms, particularly social media, have become crucial for government performance measurement and public interaction. Governments in Indonesia use social media, specifically Instagram, to disseminate information, socialize organizational performance, and channel public aspirations.The research involved collecting data from 37 government Instagram accounts in East Java for the year 2023 using the Virol application. The study reviews the literature on digital platforms and social media in governance, highlighting the preference for visual content among followers and the importance of information quality in building citizen trust. The study also notes the positive impact of social media utilization on public satisfaction with government institutions.Data reveal that album posts are the most frequent (average of 1613.78 posts), followed by images (1121.57), videos (241.03), and IGTV (147.68). In terms of engagement, album posts received the highest average likes (219.6), while IGTV received the most comments (4.6 on average).The findings suggest that followers prefer album posts and that IGTV content generates more in-depth discussions. The study recommends that government social media strategies prioritize album posts for broader engagement and use IGTV for more detailed content that encourages public discussion.This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of government-public interaction through Instagram and provides actionable insights for enhancing digital communication strategies.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive digital era, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) face challenges in marketing their products effectively due to limited digital understanding, lack of visual design skills, and low quality product photos. This problem has a direct impact on the competitiveness and selling value of MSME products, especially within the 'Aisyiyah Surabaya Branch Leadership. To overcome this, digital marketing implementation training was carried out which included product photography techniques, packaging design, and content creation using simple devices such as smartphones and the Canva application. The training method is carried out in several stages: delivery of educational materials, direct practice with mentoring, and post-activity evaluation through the collection of participants' work and focus group discussions (FGD). This training was attended by 32 MSME participants and was held at MI Muhammadiyah 27, Surabaya. The results of the activity showed an improvement, namely as many as 85% of participants understood the concept of digital marketing, 75% produced product photos that are worthy of publication, 70% were able to design attractive packaging, and 65% succeeded in creating content that increases customer interaction. Despite obstacles such as limited devices and time, this training has proven to be effective in improving MSME digital marketing skills and encouraging product value optimization in the digital market. In the future, advanced training is recommended to include aspects of financial management and access to sharia financing as support for business sustainability.
