Abstract

Covid-19 has affected various sectors, one of which is education. The process of changing the learning model from face-to-face to online and offline, as well as combinations that can have an impact. Students complain about the lack of teacher interaction, so they lose motivation to learn, which can reduce learning outcomes, so an alternative solution to the problem is needed. Researchers researched applying the blended learning model to students to optimize the learning process in the Covid 19 and New Normal pandemic era. The method used in this study is an analytical method with a literature review that is descriptive through various literature studies in strengthening the analysis, which is supported by multiple sources. The study results showed that blended learning using online e-learning media Edmodo, LMS Moodle, and Google Classroom could optimize education and foster students' critical thinking skills; however, Google Classroom is more recommended.

Abstract

This study seeks to determine the strategy of library management as a means of literacy culture in elementary schools. This study aimed to determine the involvement of school libraries and librarians in enhancing literacy culture in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study were school librarians at MIN 1 Tulungagung. Data analysis techniques include data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The study results show that the role of the school library in implementing literacy culture includes preparing facilities and infrastructure, facilitating school literacy movement activities, as a facilitator and preparing all the needs for the continuation of the school literacy movement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine empirical data related to the influence of teacher professional competence on teacher creativity in elementary schools. This research is a correlational study with sample confidence of 90% or an error rate of 10%, the number of samples obtained was 24 people. Data was taken using 2 methods, namely questionnaires and documentation. Testing the instrument validation with expert judgment and then testing the validity and reliability using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The data analysis technique uses simple correlation analysis (product-moment). Test requirements analysis consists of normality test and linearity test. This study's results indicate a positive and significant influence between Teacher Professional Competence and Teacher Creativity, with the correlation of the independent variable with the dependent variable being 1.01 at a significance level of 10%. This means that every unit increase in the teacher's professional competence score will simultaneously affect the increase in the teacher's creativity score.

Abstract

Curriculum changes are part of improving the existing education system in Indonesia. Principal leadership has an important role and position in achieving educational goals. This study aims to discuss the principal's leadership style in implementing "merdeka belajar" in schools. This research uses the literature study method, which collects materials from books, journals, articles, and other sources related to the principal's leadership strategy in realizing Independent Learning in schools. The study results show that implementing the independent curriculum makes teachers more professional through various coaching and training. The principal carries out his role as a mediator and motivator for teacher participation in curriculum training. The principal also acts as a participant in regular meetings or discussions. The principal also supervises evaluators in implementing the independent curriculum. The factor faced by school principals is the lack of smoothness of the internet network as a means for teachers to use technology in learning. School principals consider the expected results of the theories in the research in making decisions to answer problems and improve the quality or quality of education by implementing an independent curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to know the process of management learning activities center following planning, organizing, implementation, controlling, and evaluation. To knows human resources empowerment community Learning activities center with a tutor and professional teacher, interviewer, and conduct research for teacher, tutor, and student. This study used a qualitative approach with the case study. The research location is CommunityCommunity Learning activities center Wahyu Surya Pelangi Campurdarat, Nurani Tanggung Campurdarat and Sinar Pagi Pagerwojo Kabupaten Tulungagung. The data collection technique is used observation, dept interview, and documentation. Data analysis on individual case studies uses the Miles dan Huberman model use data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, data analysis cross-case with comparative analysis recommended by Yin (2002). Data reliability is used for credibility, transferability, dependability, and conformability. The result of the study: First, the management process of PKBM Tulungagung Jawa Timur Indonesia includes (a) planning used to decide the program conducted by PKBM, aim, and solution to face the obstacle raised (b) Organizing used to divide many classes suitable with ages, in other that can be differences between young and old learner, and organizational management structure PKBM with decided each task (c) the role implementation is to decide who can run the program PKBM, who as a teacher, and who as a student, and who as a person responsible of the program, and (d) The function of evaluation is to assess the program conducted or running, and decided the solution of obstacles. Second, human resources empowerment on PKBM Tulungagung Jawa Timur Indonesia. Many activities of empowerment are: (a) teaching activities taught by professionals, (b) giving training to the teacher to increase their skill to teach young and old learners (c) giving add programs of education and skill such as vocational, culinary art, etc. (d) incurring tutor from partner agency to give socialization for student, (e) Implementation the program of PKBM planned before, and (f) selection professional teacher will teach in PKBM.
