Abstract

Penggunaan gawai semakin diadopsi dan digunakan oleh anak sejak dini sehingga orang tua memainkan peranan penting dalam membentuk penggunaan gawai yang aman dan sehat agar terhindar dampak negatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendampingan orang tua dalam membatasi, mengatur, dan mengelola penggunaan gawai pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis grounded theory melalui open coding, focus coding, axial coding, dan theoretical coding. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah tiga orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan usia 2- 5 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memberikan pendampingan dengan membatasi, mengatur, dan mengelola penggunaan gawai. Adapun batasan yang diberikan oleh orang tua kepada anaknya dalam penggunaan gawai yaitu, batasan waktu, batasan aplikasi, batasan jarak, batasan konten, dan batasan perangkat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran bagi orang tua mengenai batasan-batasan yang dapat digunakan untuk membentuk penggunana gawai yang aman, nyaman, dan sehat bagi anak.

Abstract

The government is trying to achieve the goals of National Education in accordance with Law No. 20 of 2003, which is to develop the potential of students to become human beings of faith and piety. Education is defined as a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere in order to develop students' self-potential. The responsibility for education is left to parents, educational institutions, government, and society. Research at TKN Sendang, Cirebon District, used a qualitative method to analyze the formation and role of the School Committee in early childhood education. The results showed that the School Committee at TKN Sendang played a role in improving the quality of education by providing direction, staff support, facilities, and supervision at the early age level. The active role of parents/guardians of students is very significant in supporting and involving themselves in School Committee activities, including providing input and financial support. The School Committee is also effective in providing direction and support for character building and improving learning facilities. In conclusion, the active participation of parents/guardians of students and the role of the School Committee is important in improving the quality of early childhood education. Collaboration between the government, educational institutions, the community, and parents/guardians of students creates an educational environment that is conducive and supports the optimal growth of the potential of students, so as to achieve the goals of National Education that have been set.

Abstract

Abstrak Sistem pembelajaran yang berubah karena Covid-19, memaksa sekolah untuk mencari alternatif pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan sekolahnya. Pembelajaran online atau pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam jaringan ini menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi guru agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan seperti biasanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji tanggapan guru terhadap pembelajaran daring selama pandemi Covid-19. Metode pengumpulan data ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif yang dikumpulkan melalui survei dan wawancara semi terstruktur dengan 55 guru kelas Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kabupaten Cirebon. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa perubahan sistem pembelajaran yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, langkah pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, waktu, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru menanggapi pembelajaran daring yang digunakan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 secara positif didukung atau dimotivasi oleh berbagai pemangku kepentingan, dan guru menghadapi beberapa hambatan atau tantangan yang terkait dengan pelaksanaannya, dikarenakan banyak pihak yang memberikan reaksi negatif terhadap pembelajaran daring. Abstract The learning system has changed due to Covid-19, forcing schools to look for alternative learning that is appropriate and in accordance with the conditions of their school environment. Online learning or distance learning in this network is an alternative for educators so that learning can run as usual. The purpose of this study was to examine educators' responses to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This data collection method used a qualitative case study approach which was collected through surveys and semi-structured interviews with 55 class teachers of public elementary schools in the city of Cirebon. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are several changes in the learning system, namely learning objectives, learning steps, learning methods, learning media, time, and learning assessment. In addition, educators responding to online learning used during the Covid-19 pandemic were positively supported or motivated by various stakeholders, and educators faced several obstacles or challenges related to its implementation, because many parties gave negative reactions to online learning.
