Abstract

This research is to see how supervision can assist teachers in developing their ability to manage the learning process in order to achieve learning objectives. The research design refers to the research design conducted by Kemmis and Taggart. This study describes how a learning technique is applied and how the desired results can be achieved. The spiral model starts from planning, action, observation and reflection, then re-planning for the next cycle. The techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research objective is to improve teacher performance through the supervision of the principal at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Mujahirin Bitung. The results of the first cycle describe the teacher's performance by 56.9% with a teacher success rate of 30% and an increase in the second cycle of teacher performance by 93.7% with a teacher success rate of 100% or all teachers succeed in this second cycle. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be said that the use of principal supervision can improve teacher performance at Madrasah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Mujahirin Bitung.

Abstract

Descriptive analysis revealed the following matters: (1). Variable performance of primary school teachers in the city of Tomohon in either category although more than 50% are below average. (2). The variable competence of teachers in primary schools in the city of Tomohon also fall into either category and competence of less than 50% which is above average. (3). the incentives of more than 50% of teachers perceive already well along with the certification and regional performance benefits and other incentives from the school. The results of hypothesis testing showed that: (a) there is a strong and significant relationship between teacher competence with the performance of primary school teachers in the city of Tomohon. Teacher competence contributed as much as 37.8% on teacher performance. (b). there is a significant relationship between the provision of incentives to the performance of primary school teachers in the city of Tomohon, but the contribution incentive is only about 6.2% on the performance of teachers. (c). the relationship between the two variables simultaneously (competence of teachers and the provision of incentives) with the performance of primary school teachers in the city of Tomohon is very strong and significant. Contribution of 40.1% and the remaining 59.9% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to improve IPS learning outcomes through the application of the Number Heads Together (NHT) learning model. The research was conducted using the Number Heads Together learning model. The research subjects were 17 grade IV students of GMIM KOYA Elementary School consisting of 10 female students and 7 male students. Data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The data analysis technique used is percentage and analysis techniques according to complete and incomplete categories through written tests, student interaction during learning, and student attitudes in the learning process. by implementing the Number Heads Together learning model. It is recommended that elementary school teachers apply the Number Heads Together learning model to improve social studies learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Sarongsong State Elementary School by applying the Picture and Picture learning model. This type of research is classroom action research which includes two action cycles and goes through 4 stages which include: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation and (4) Reflection. In the implementation of the actions of cycle I and cycle II which also experienced an increase even though the implementation time was not that far away, due to the willingness to learn and the competence of a teacher who was so great as to be able to change the situation which in cycle I was considered unsuccessful but in cycle II experienced a very good increase. In the first cycle the average student score was 66.33% while the KKM classically was >75 and in the second cycle it experienced growth and the student's average score was at 92.22% and had passed the minimum completeness criteria for the subject. Thus the results of research at SD Negeri Sarongsong have been well achieved
