Abstract

Saat ini layaan internet sudah menjadi kebutuhan utama ditengah-tengah masyarakat, hal ini disebabkan semua urusan sudah berbasis layanan digital (online). Bahkan, layanan internet tidak lagi sekedar penyampaian informasi tetapi dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana hiburan dan bersosialisasi di platform Social Networking Services (SNS). Pemerintah maupun swasta berlomba membangun infrastruktur semisal adanya akses Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) publik pada beberapa fasilitas umum sehingga akses internet dapat dinikmati oleh masyarakat, dimanapun dan kapanpun. Faktanya, kemajuan tersebut terkadang tidak sejalan dengan regulasi pemerintah membatasi bahkan memblokir beberapa website domestik maupun global dengan Firewall Pemerintah. Disisi lain, mudahnya mendapatkan layanan internet gratis melalui Wi-Fi Publik tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh orang yang tidak berwenang untuk kemudian mencuri data pribadi dengan melakukan pelacakan terhadap alamat IP, melihat identitas pengguna dan sebagainya, sehingga aktivitas internet yang seharusnya menjadi sebuah privasi tidak lagi menjadi aman. Ataupun terhadap transmisi data yang dapat disadap dengan mudah tanpa adanya enkripsi. Untuk itu, pemilihan solusi yang tepat terhadap persoalan ini menjadi pembahasan penulis dari artikel ini, yaitu diperlukan sebuah langkah optimalisasi VPN Gate Client pada Wi-Fi publik untuk keamanan transmisi data dan akses internet.

Abstract

This scholarly investigation delves into the strong desire for academic scholarships within the student body, especially prominent among socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals. The study aims to formulate a hybrid data mining paradigm by synergizing the K-means and C4.5 methodologies. K-means is applied for clusterization, while C4.5 facilitates prediction and decision tree instantiation. The research unfolds in sequential phases, commencing with data input and progressing through meticulous pre-processing, encompassing data selection, cleaning, and transformation. The novelty lies in successfully integrating the K-means and C4.5 methodologies, culminating in the hybrid data mining method. The dataset comprises 200 students seeking scholarships, revealing effective stratification into three clusters—cluster 0, cluster 1, and cluster 2—with 119, 48, and 33 students, respectively. The K-means method proves highly suitable, especially when combined with C4.5, for predicting scholarship recipients. A subset of 81 students from clusters 1 and 2 undergoes predictive modeling using C4.5, resulting in a commendable 85% accuracy, with 17 accurate forecasts and 3 minor inaccuracies. This research significantly enhances scholarship selection efficiency, particularly benefiting socioeconomically disadvantaged students.

Abstract

- Augmented Reality (AR), adalah sebuah teknologi baru yang memungkinkan pengguna melihat gambar 2D (dua dimensi) menjadi gambar 3D (tiga dimensi) secara langsung dengan menggunakan smartphone, netbook, dan lain-lain. Teknologi ini dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai macam bidang, salah satunya dalam bidang promosi yang menggunakan brosur. Aplikasi ini penulis namakan eBrouchure pengganti brosur biasa. Aplikasi ini menggunakan media brosur yang telah diberi marker sebagai alat peraga yang akan diidentifikasi melalui kamera smartphone android untuk memunculkan sebuah objek 3D. Tujuan penelitian ini akan menampilkan objek 3D dari Taman Margasatwa dan Budaya Kinantan melalui smartphone android pada media brosur sehingga pengguna mendapatkan informasi yang lebih jelas dibandingkan brosur yang sudah ada

Abstract

This final project aims to create a technology in the world of beauty, by using the Arduino Mega2560 microcontroller as the controlling brain of the cosmetic suitcase. Arduino is controlled using an Android Smartphone that is connected to the system on the cosmetic suitcase by means of a Bluetooth module as a connecting medium between the cosmetic suitcase and the Android smartphone, the user can control 3 LEDs and the fan by pressing the ON button to turn on and the OFF button to deactivate. Fingerprint functions as a fingerprint scanner to unlock the cosmetic case. This automatic unlocking works based on the logic in the program by using a fingerprint sensor that functions as a fingerprint scanner which then Arduino will instruct the solenoid and buzzer to be active for 5 seconds when the detected fingerprint is registered. Push Button functions as a new fingerprint registrar and as a fingerprint eraser that has been previously registered. Pressing the push button once to register a new fingerprint and pressing the push button for more than 1 second to delete all fingerprints that have been previously registered. LCD serves as an information display. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that this tool is able to help women and MUA to have all the make-up equipment as well as supporting tools such as lighting and fans in a cosmetic suitcase that can be controlled via a smartphone.

Abstract

Currently, the activities of entering and leaving the country in Indonesia require a long period of time and incur significant costs in day-to-day operations. One of the reasons is the increasing population who wishes to travel in and out of the country, leading to long queues and consuming much time. Moreover, the process of identifying passport legality is still done manually, resulting in a time-consuming passport handling process. The purpose of this research is to develop a system that facilitates traveling in and out of the country and registers passport data for those who do not have an ID Tag, thereby reducing the duration of travel in and out of the country.
