Abstract

Elderly people are closely related to various health conditions, especially.physical.health problems. Various theories about the aging process show the same thing. The health status of the elderly that decreases with age.will affect the quality of life of the.elderly. Increasing.age will be accompanied by the emergence.of various diseases, decreased body function, body balance and the risk of falling. The decline in the health status of the elderly is contrary to the desire of the elderly.to remain healthy, independent and able to do activities as usual, such as bathing, dressing, moving independently. The incompatibility of the elderly's condition with their expectations can even cause the elderly to experience depression. Elderly people registered in the Bandar Khalipah Health Center work area experience various health problems. They reported increased uric acid with general complaints of joint pain, hypertension with complaints of frequent dizziness, stroke with complaints of all activities requiring assistance, rheumatism with complaints of swelling in the joints and pain when moving and sleep disorders, from several health problems found that affect their daily activities. There is a demand for elderly fitness training to reduce these health problems. This study examines the effectiveness of visual art activities and exercise snacks on the quality of life of the elderly. Quasy experimental research was conducted to test the hypothesis. A total of 50 elderly people were sampled in this study. The research design used was pre-posttest with control group. The results showed that the quality of life score increased higher in the experimental group than in the control group. The gap in the increased score between the two groups was 6.08 ± 7.55 (p: 0.001). In conclusion, there was a significant difference in scores between the experimental and control groups. Exercise snack can improve the quality of life of the elderly. Health educators are advised to improve the quality of life of the elderly at the Bandar Khalipah Health Center through exercise snack activities.

Abstract

Salah satu  masalah  kesehatan  yang  sering  terjadi pada lanjut usia adalah rheumatoid arthritis yang merupakan suatu penyakit yang menyerang persendian  ditandai  dengan  pembengkakan  sendi,  nyeri  tekan, kerusakan  sendi  synovial. Dampak yang disebabkan rheumatoid arthritis yaitu keterbatasan mobilitas, disabilitas, penurunan produktivitas aktivitas sehari-hari juga menyebabkan kecacatan seperti kelumpuhan. Salah satu terapi non farmakologi untuk mengurangi  nyeri yang dirasakan penderita arthritis rheumatoid adalah terapi Slow Stroke Back Massage yang merupakan salah satu teknik pemberian tindakan massase pada punggung dengan usapan secara perlahan yang memberikan rasa nyaman dan rasa rileks pada tubuh. membantu mengurangi ketegangan otot yang dapat mengurangi intensitas nyeri, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) terhadap nyeri rheumatoid arthritis pada lansia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre eksperimental dengan pretest-posttest design, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 15 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tekhnik accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh SSBM terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri rheumatoid arthritis pada lansia dengan nilai p = 0,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bahwa teknik SSBM dapat diterapkan sebagai terapi non farmakologi untuk mengurangi nyeri pada penderita arthritis rheumatoid khususnya pada lansia.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe cause of mortality in newborns is jaundice, which is a yellow color that appears on the skin and mucosa due to an increase in bilirubin. The initial survey that was carried out at the Kota Datar Health Center was found in 25 cases, in 2019, there were 28 cases and in 2020 there were 30 cases of babies with jaundice. The time of the study was March - June  2021. The sample in the study was 30 respondents, namely all babies who had jaundice. Data analysis to answer research problems was carried out using a test chi square. Keywords: Gestational Age, Delivery Process  ABSTRAKPenyebab mortalitas pada bayi baru lahir adalah Ikterus yaitu warna kuning yang tampak pada kulit dan mukosa karena peningkatan bilirubin Hiperbillirubin merupakan suatu keadaan dimana kadar billirubin. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kota Datar Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang Tahun 2021. Waktu penelitian bulan Maret “ Juni tahun 2020. Sampel pada penelitian sebanyak 30 responden yaitu seluruh bayi yang mengalami ikterus. Analisis data untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji chi square. Kesimpulannya terdapat hubungan umur kehamilan, proses persalinan, berat badan lahir, dan pelayanan kesehatan bidan dengan kejadian bayi kuning. Kata Kunci: Umur Kehamilan, Proses Persalinan
