Abstract

The purpose of this paper is so that every parent understands their role in providing the first education before or after the child enters formal education in general. Often parents leave education problems to their teachers at school, but parents forget that education must start at home and parents are the teachers. By providing the first education at home through parents, the parents will be able to properly direct what are the goals or aspirations of the parents towards their children, both formally and in character. If parents do not neglect this, there will be many children who can be educated properly and correctly according to the expectations of the parents in the future. The research was conducted using qualitative methods by collecting data from bibliography of books and scientific journals as well as online media. It is hoped that this research can increase parental awareness in providing the first education to their children

Abstract

One of the main problems faced by every country in the world today is problem of poverty, the problem seems to be continuous and endless. Poverty is still the biggest problem in the world today because this problem involves life and death. Poor people cannot get out of their problems without the help of others. The problem is that the poor don't know who to turn to to help them. If God's people were faithful in doing good to the poor and needy people, then their lives would be the same as what Jesus exemplified in His life while living on earth, and people like that would receive salvation. The act of helping those in need, especially the poor, on the other hand, is a natural fruit of salvation and is based on what Christ did for His people at Calvary. This article qualitatively uses analytical, comparative, and argumentative methods. Comparatively, the ladder model which is too rigid and normative while taking into account other examples will be compared with the garden model, which assumes a plurality of types of spirituality. The result of this research is for everyone to understand the meaning of why it is so important to serve the poor. So that a Christian does not neglect his obligation to help people in need, because serving the poor is the same as doing it to Jesus.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology and the increasingly widespread penetration of the internet have significantly driven the growth of e-commerce in Indonesia, leading to notable changes in consumer behavior in making purchasing decisions. This condition requires business actors to comprehensively understand marketing factors that play a crucial role in influencing consumer decisions on e-commerce platforms, particularly those related to price, promotion, and product quality. The research problem of this study focuses on how these three variables shape consumer purchasing decisions amid increasingly intense e-commerce competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of price, promotion, and product quality on purchasing decisions in e-commerce by employing a qualitative approach through a literature review of various relevant scholarly sources, including both national and international journals. The findings indicate that competitive pricing aligned with consumers’ perceived value has a strong influence on attracting purchase intentions, while appropriate, sustainable, and communicative promotional strategies are able to enhance consumer awareness and purchase motivation. On the other hand, product quality is proven to be a key determinant in building trust, satisfaction, and consumer loyalty in online transactions. The conclusion of this study confirms that price, promotion, and product quality simultaneously contribute positively and significantly to e-commerce purchasing decisions. The novelty of this scholarly work lies in its conceptual synthesis that integrates these three variables within the context of Indonesian e-commerce consumer behavior, providing a holistic understanding that can serve as a strategic basis for decision-making among digital business practitioners in the technology-based economic era.

Abstract

Failure in Christian ministry is often perceived as the end of one's calling, creating a need for a theological understanding of restoration and second chances. This study aims to analyze the theological meaning of failure and restoration in the story of John Mark and its implications for Christian spirituality. The study employs a qualitative method through literature review and narrative analysis of Acts 12-15, Colossians 4:10, Philemon 1:24, and 2 Timothy 4:11. The findings reveal that John Mark experienced a transformation from failure to restoration and was eventually entrusted again with ministry responsibilities. This process occurred through God's grace manifested in Barnabas's mentorship, character formation, reconciliation, and the support of the faith community. The study concludes that failure does not bring an end to a person's calling; rather, it can become a means of spiritual growth and ministerial restoration. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of the concepts of failure, second chance, reconciliation, and renewed involvement in ministry, resulting in the concept of a spirituality of second chances as a paradigm for contemporary Christian faith formation and leadership.

Abstract

Schools are positioned as strategic social spaces that play a crucial role in shaping students’ character and social awareness amid the growing complexity of educational challenges in the era of globalization, digitalization, and shifting social values. An educational orientation that continues to prioritize academic achievement has generated serious issues, including the weakening of character, low levels of empathy, and declining social concern among students. The research problem addressed in this study concerns how schools can fulfill their function not only as institutions for knowledge transmission, but also as spaces for the sustainable formation of values, attitudes, and social responsibility. This study aims to analyze the role of schools as arenas for character formation and social awareness, as well as to identify relevant educational approaches for internalizing moral, ethical, and social values. A qualitative approach was employed through a literature review with descriptive analysis of scholarly publications, educational policies, and character education practices. The findings indicate that schools function effectively as educational social environments when character values are systematically integrated through the curriculum, pedagogical interactions, school culture, extracurricular activities, and teacher role modeling. Character formation and social awareness become more meaningful when implemented holistically, contextually, and consistently. The conclusion emphasizes that schools bear moral and social responsibility to create a humanistic, participatory educational ecosystem oriented toward the development of students’ holistic personality. The novelty of this scholarly work lies in its conceptual affirmation of the school as a transformative social space that unifies academic dimensions, character development, and social awareness into an inseparable pedagogical whole.
