Abstract

Sumber Butung is a river located in Tempeh Tengah Village, Lumajang Regency. This river is widely used by local people as a source of water that plays an important role in life. The people who live in Tempeh Tengah Village use Sumber Butung as a place for fishing, bathing, washing clothes, and even doing clean water activities in the river (BABS). One of the activities that are often carried out is bathing and washing clothes, where the soap used for washing is like a detergent made from various chemical compounds such as builders, artificial fragrances, and the most dangerous is surfactants. This can cause various diseases such as skin diseases, and plastic packaging made of soap that is not environmentally friendly can contaminate the soil or water around this source. Bathing and washing clothes trigger the occurrence of soapy water waste in the river which can cause the river water to lack oxygen and endanger the lives of the fish in it. Seeing this condition, we want to take control so that Sumber Butung is not polluted. One of them is to make Sumber Butung a tourist attraction that can help the local community's economy and avoid the occurrence of soapy water waste at Sumber Butung. In addition, the reason for making this place a tourist attraction is the location close to the Petilasan House and the Al Habib Sholeh Well. So that with this control, it is hoped that the rivers will remain clean and can continue to be used for the future and the existing historical and cultural places can be known by the wider community.

Abstract

Bambang Beach is one of the water tourism located in Lumajang Regency. This beach is located about 24 km from the center of Lumajang City. Bambang Beach is included in the South Beach which has big waves and winds. Bambang Beach is no longer visited by tourists because the beach conditions are not clean and the waves are high. In addition, the access road to the beach is very quiet and minimally lit at night. The purpose of this article is to find out the potential for wind at Bambang Beach, Lumajang Regency as a Wind Power Plant (PLTA) as an alternative for street lighting and also to re-evaluate the benefits of Bambang Beach for the surrounding community. The research method used in this article is a literature study, by utilizing the facts or wind data in Indonesia and in Lumajang Regency. Several studies from the journal literature explain that wind can be used as an effective source of electrical energy. However, the data and facts that occurred at Bambang Beach are not very suitable to be used as a Wind Power Plant. Thus, the solution that can be used so that Bambang Beach can benefit the surrounding community is to clean and maintain the beach environment so that it is crowded with tourists, so that it can increase the income of the local community. With the return of the bustle of tourists, it can be used as income and the funds obtained can be used to make lighting along the road to Bambang Beach

The purpose of this research was to obtain the effect of soil conditions from active and inactive mountains on coffee growth. Obtainable results in Soil formed by active volcanic eruptions is often rich in essential minerals and nutrients. This can provide abundant resources for coffee plants to grow properly.
