Abstract

At the Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Jadid in Paiton Probolinggo there is a work of interpretation composed by the founder and the first caretaker of Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Jadid in Paiton Probolinggo. The work of interpretation of the archipelago was composed by Zainî Mun'îm. The commentary is entitled Tafsîr al-Qur’ân bi al-Imlâ’. Named with Tafsîr al-Qur’ân bi al-Imlâ’ because initially this interpretation is an interpretation taught by Zainî Mun'im to the Students of the Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Jadid by way of dictation (Imlâ’) and then the Student of Islamic Boarding School Nurul Jadid recorded and codified the interpretation. In addition, this commentary is also called Tafsîr Sûrah  al-Fâtihah . This commentary is named Tafsîr Sûrah  al-Fâtihah  because in it only discusses the interpretation of the al-Fâtihah  only. The purpose of the writing of this scientific paper is to provide additional insight and inform the readers about the work of Tafsîr archipelago composed by the founder and the first caretaker of Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Jadid in Paiton Probolinggo is Zainî Mun'îm. The method used in writing this scientific paper is library research. in this scientific paper the author collects information from books explaining about Tafsîr al-Qur’ân bi al-Imlâ’ or Tafsîr Sûrah  al-Fâtihah  and analyzes the contents of the book of interpretation. In this scientific work the author tries to describe the form of interpretation, interpretation method, interpretation style and content of Tafsîr al-Qur’ân bi al-Imlâ’ or Tafsîr Sûrah  al-Fâtihah . By knowing the form interpretation, interpretation method, interpretation style and the content of Tafsîr al-Qur’ân bi al-Imlâ’ or Tafsîr Sûrah  al-Fâtihah  then the reader can understand more detail about characteristics of Tafsîr al-Qur’ân bi al-Imlâ’ or Tafsîr Sûrah  al-Fâtihah. Zainî Mun'îm explained in Tafsîr al-Qur'ân bi al-Imlâ’ that guidance is divided into 5 parts namely hidayah ilham (guidance in inspiration), hidayah al-hawas (guidance in the form of senses), hidayah al-`uqul (guidance in the form of reason), hidayah al-adyan wa al-syara'i` (instructions in the form of religion and shari'ah) and hidayah al-fi'iyyah (instructions towards the good). The concept of hidayah as in the Tafsîr al-Qur'ân bi al-Imlâ’ is also found in Tafsîr al-Marâghî, Tafsîr al-Manâr and Tafsîr al-Munîr. From the year of compilation it was not possible if Zaini Mun'im quoted Tafsîr al-Manâr and Tafsîr al-Munîr because they had already been prepared. The thought of Zaini Mun'im was quoted in many cases from Tafsîr al-Marâghî which was composed by Musthafâ al-Marâghî.

Abstract

Maqāshid al-Qur’ān is an approach of interpretation study. This approach was developed to give a new viewpoint for mufassir to have more comprehensive understanding of the Qur'an contextually, as of it contributes much to life. Based on this, the aims of this article is to apply the concept of Maqāshid al-Qur'ān which was initiated by Imam Muammad al-Thāhir ibn 'Āsyūr in the verses of the human life cycle. The application of Maqāshid al-Qur’ān will reveal the meaning and moral message behind the verse with covering two issues, first is the cycle and phase of human life in the Qur'an, and second is the interpretation and moral message of the verse about the cycle of human life. This research was a library research with descriptive analysis method using the Maqāshid al-Qur'ān approach by Muhammad al-Thāhir ibn 'Āsyūr version. The results of the study showed that: first, the cycle and phase of the human life take place in five phases of life, there are the realm of the spirit, the realm of the womb, nature, the world, the grave, and the afterlife. Second, the result of the interpretation and moral message of the verse of the human life cycle is about the miracle of humans to have the right belief, akhlaq, ethics and good morals, and explaining the miracles of the Qur'an. The lessons for muslim is also discussed.

Abstract

Abstrak:Dalam buku-buku sejarah disebutkan bahwa Nabi Ibrahim asadalah seorang utusan Allah SWT yang sangat luar biasa. Ibrahimadalah utusan Allah yang berusaha dengan sekuat tenaga untukmenemukan tuhannya. Ibrahim bahkan dengan keteguhan hatinyamenghancurkan patung-patung yang dibuat oleh Azar ayahnya.Sejarah mencatat bahwa Azar ayah Ibrahim adalah seorang yangkufur kepada Allah SWT dan termasuk pembuat patung-patungyang mana patung tersebut dijadikan sebagai Tuhan dan disembaholeh orang-orang pada zamannya. Namun dalam beberapa kitabtafsir dan hadits-hadits Nabi justru disebutkan sebaliknya bahwaAzar bukanlah ayah kandung Nabi Ibrahim. Azar hanyalah ayahangkat Nabi Ibrahim dan ayah kandung Nabi Ibrahim sendiriadalah seorang muslim yang tidak kufur kepada Allah SWT.Penulisan dalam karya ilmiah ini menggunakan metode libraryresearch atau studi kepustakaan. Penulis membandingkan beberapapendapat dalam kitab-kitab tafsir dan hadits-hadits nabi tentangsiapa sebenarnya ayah kandung Nabi Ibrahim apa agama agamaayah kandung Nabi Ibrahim tersebut. Setelah dilakukan telaahsecara mendalam penulis menyimpulkan bahwa mayoritas ulamatafsir dan hadits justru lebih memilih berpendapat bahwa Azarbukanlah ayah kandung Nabi Ibrahim dan ayah kandung NabiIbrahim adalah seorang muslim yang tidak kufur kepada AllahSWT.Kata Kunci: Agama, Islam, Kafir, Ayah Ibrahim Abstract:In historical books it is mentioned that Prophet Ibrahim as was agreat messenger of Allah SWT. Ibrahim is God's messenger whostrives hard to find his god. Ibrahim even with his fortitudedestroying the statues made by his father Azar. History recordsthat Azar's father Abraham was a disbeliever to Allah SWT andincluded the makers of statues whose statue was made as God andworshiped by people of his day. But in some of the books of tafsirand the hadiths of the Prophet it is mentioned otherwise that Azaris not the father of the Prophet Ibrahim. Azar is not true father ofthe Prophet Abraham and the true father of Prophet Abrahamhimself is a Muslim who believe in Allah SWT. Writing in thisscientific papers uses library research methods or literature studies.The author compares several opinions in the books of tafsir andhadiths of the prophet about who is actually the father of ProphetAbraham and what is the religion of the Abraham's father. After athorough study of the writer concludes that the majority of ulama'tafsir and hadith instead prefer to argue that Azar is not the fatherof Prophet Abraham and the father of Prophet Abraham is aMuslim who believe in Allah SWT.Keywords: Religion, Islam, disbeliever, father of Prophet Abraham

Abstract

Reading the Qur'an smoothly and correctly is a necessity and necessity for all Muslim communities in the world. Why not, the Holy Qur'an which is believed by Muslim communities throughout the world can be read only by understanding the rules of recitation, the letter, the character of letters and practicing repeatedly. The group that is the target of community service activities is the female students of the Islamic Boarding School of Miftahul Ulum Sumenep. The target group does not yet have the knowledge and skills to read the Qur'an in accordance with the rules of recitation, the letters of letters and the character of letters. For this reason, in the community service activities, material will be conveyed about the rules of recitation, letters and letters and practice them repeatedly. The repeated training was held at the mosque of the Islamic Boarding School of Miftahul Ulum Sumenep. As a result, the female students of the Islamic Boarding School of Miftahul Ulum in Sumenep finally gained in-depth knowledge about the rules of recitation, letters and letters and could practice it and avoid mistakes in reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

The Ottoman rasm was the method of writing agreed upon by the companions of the Prophet Muhammad in codifying the Qur'an which was feared lost and destroyed if it was not immediately codified. The Qur'an at that time was written without adding vowel and letter dots in the writing. However, the The companions of prophet MUHAMMAD SAW can read it because of the Arabic fluency of the companions and a high level of memorization. Over time the writing of the Koran began to add vowel and letter dots because generations after the companions found it difficult to read the Koran without punctuation such as vowel and dots on the letter. The al-Qur'an published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia has experienced many improvements in its writing, but there are ways of writing the Ottoman Manuscripts that are still contained in the Qur'an published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. This can cause errors if not explained how to read it. Because of that, community service was carried out about the Ottoman rasm in the Qur'an. The target group for community service activities is the youth group AMOR (Arek Mor Lorong) Lenteng Sumenep. The target group does not yet have the knowledge and skills to read the Ottoman rasm written in the Indonesian Qur'an. Therefore, in this community service activity, material about Ottoman rasm was delivered in the Indonesian Qur'an. As a result, the youth group AMOR (Arek Mor Lorong) Lenteng Sumenep finally gained in-depth knowledge about the Ottoman rasm found in the Indonesian Qur'an.

Abstract

Dewasa ini terdapat dua golongan yang selabu bertentangan dalam persoalan ideologi dan metodologi, yaitu golongan Sunnī dan golongan Shī’ah. Dalam terminologi hadis, kedua golongan ini memiliki pandangan yang berbeda. Metode kesahihan hadis Nabi yang didengungkan oleh golongan sunnī sama sekali berbeda dengan metode kesahihan hadis versi Shī’ah. Metode yang digunakan dalam karya ini adalah library research di mana penulis akan melakukan penelusuran terhadap karya-karya yang relevan yang berkaitan dengan perbedaan metodologis antara Sunnī dan Shī’ah dalam menentukan ṣahih tidaknya suatu hadis. Dalam kritik matan hadis dan kritik sanad hadis terdapat perbedaan yang mencolok di antara dua golongan tersebut. Perbedaan tersebut tentu saja pada akhirnya berujung pada perbedaan dalam hadis-hadis yang dianggap absah dan perbedaan dalam madzhab fiqh.

Abstract

This article discusses the phenomenon of the reciting QS. Yāsīn and QS. al-Ra'd to people who experience critical conditions such as for someone who becomes the door of death (Sakarat al-Maut) which is widely done in Sumenep Madura Regency. Sumenep people assume that reciting surah al-Ra'd and Surah Yasin to people who experience door of death (Sakarat al-Maut) can speed up the process or provide healing, however, in that aspect of the meaning of the two Surah is not related to the phenomenon of door of death (Sakarat al-Maut). This shows that the Sumenep people in this tradition have a different reception from the literal meaning of these two surahs. Therefore, this study aims to see how the Sumenep people's understanding of surah Yāsīn and surah al-Ra'd and how the structure forming the phenomenon of the use of the two Surahs in the phenomenon door of death (Sakarat al-Maut). This article is qualitative type research with the use of field research (field research) or field studies as a research method. The approach used as an analytical method is Edmund Husserl's phenomenological approach. This approach looks at a phenomenon in the absence of the assumptions that accompany it during the process of observation and collection of field data.  The results of this study show that in some areas in Sumenep Regency are commonly recited surah Yāsīn or surah al-Ra'd or surah Muhammad or surah Yāsīn with surah al-Ra'd, or surah Yāsīn with al-Qiyamah, or surah Yāsīn and al-Taubah or surah Yāsīn and al-Kahfi to people who experience door of death (Sakarat al-Maut). The basis of the reading is the Hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the explanation of the salaf books.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are several alternative treatments undertook by certain practitioners to cure a person's illness. The diseases they treat are physical or non-physical. Physical disease is a disease that can be identified by medical science, while non-physical disease cannot be identified by medical science, it is called a non-medical disease. Physical ailments are examined and prescribed by doctors or other health professionals to relieve or cure the ailments. On the other hand, non-physical ailments are given alternative treatments such as prayer or certain herbs. The problems investigated in this study are as follows. First, the phenomenon of Quranic therapy to cure physical and non-physical ailments in Sumenep. Second, the meaning of Quranic therapy to cure physical and non-physical diseases in Sumenep. Third, the view of phenomenological theory on Quranic therapy to cure physical and non-physical diseases in Sumenep. The phenomenological approach is used to analyze data about Quranic therapy to cure physical and non-physical ailments. The meaning or essence behind the phenomenon is analyzed by releasing the surrounding empirical data and situation. The results of this study are, first: Surah Muhammad is often used for the treatment of ailments by the Sumenep Pragaan community. Sick people are recited the surah in the hope that their illness will be cured. The reading of Surah Muhammad for treatment is sometimes collaborated with readings other than the Qur'an such as burdah, ratibul haddad, or shalawat nariyah. In addition to the tradition of reciting Surah Muhammad, there is also a ruqyah tradition for treatment. Ruqyah is the practice of Al-Qur'an therapy carried out by Jam'iyah Ahl al-Ruqyah Aswaja (JRA) Sumenep to treat physical and non-physical ailments suffered by people in Sumenep Regency. Ruqyah therapists recite selected verses in performing Quranic therapy. Second, the meaning of reciting the verses of the Quran for medical treatment or non-medical therapy is actually an intermediary. In other words, healing is not determined by these readings. Third, the final stage of Husserl's phenomenological analysis is transcendental reduction, understanding phenomena by tracing the roots in the consciousness that manifests itself so that pure existence or subjects can be found. The pure existence or subject of reciting surah Muhammad, Surah al-Falak, and other verses in the practice of ruqyah is the awareness that all these things are done for the sake of expecting the blessing of Allah SWT.
