Abstract

This class action research done to overcome the problem overcome the difficulty learn in improving ability read the the understanding of fiction story, hence one of solution which can grow and develop the ability of student of class of VI SD of Country of Mappala apriceaciation of fiction story needed an Activity strategy through draw media. In general this research target to increase ability of student of class of SD of Mappala comprehend the fiction story constructively draw media and improve the ability think the literal, inferensial, evaluative and apresiatif through media Applying draw in study read the understanding of fiction story. This research uses the research device qualitative class action. The result obtained from this research from cycle I know that (1) ability think the students as much 53 (17,84%) coalification very well to fourth of ability aspect think, (2) ability think as much 83 students (27,94%) coalification good to fourth of ability aspech think, (3) ability think the as much 199 much people (40,07%) coalification last for fourth ability aspect think, (4) ability think as much 32 people (10,77%) less to be fourth ability think, and (5) ability think the student as much 10 (3,36%) less once. Fromm this result coalification inferential that as much 18 people coalification average of last for fourth think ability. Ability think in doing duty: (1) ability think as much 56 students (18,85%) coalification very well to be fourth ability aspect think, (2) ability think as much 85 students (28,62%) coalification of good to fourth of ability aspect think, (3) ability think as much 124 students (41,75%) coalification of lass fourth coalification of ability aspect think, (4) ability think as much 25 people (8,41%) less to fourth of ability think, and (5) ability think the students as much 7 (2,35%).

Abstract

Require to be done in family in that is fertilize the attitude of child discipline are family member can conduct the communications better and correctness which is adapted for by a time, place, atmosphere, age so that earn constructive of harmonious relation in family. This research design uses a qualitative approach. The research technique used in this research is literature study, namely by researching and understanding books, documents or other relevant written sources. Process the communications represent system of where the communications process can only take place maximal if provided with the communications elements. Relation and comminications among father, mother, child and also other; dissimilar family member very need in everyday life because can foster the personality and also improve the attitude of child discipline. No relation or kesenjangan relation among family member at home can make the child feel the disrespect, do not discipline, and lazy learn the.

Abstract

 This article aims to explain the symbols of body parts of buffalo in Singgi' Tedong. Data were obtained using the scrutinized technique, i.e. carefully reading the text 'Singgi' Tedong', identifying, and recording the required data, then translating the text from Torajan into Indonesian. Besides, an in-depth interview technique with Tominaa (traditional experts) and other community figures was carried out to obtain relevant data. From 20 speech in the form of written text, the writer took 15 utterances about the body parts of buffalo selected using purposive sampling technique. These data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach based on Saussure's (1988) semiotic theory to explain the use of sign systems to produce meaning through interpretation. The results of the research show that the body parts of the buffalo in Singgi' Tedong have symbols that have metaphorical meaning about various aspects of Torajan human life, such as symbols about position, function, status, etc. of the family group that carries out the Merok ceremony. AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan menjelaskan simbol-simbol bagian tubuh kerbau dalam Singgi’ Tedong. Data diperoleh dengan cara metode simak (scrutinized technique) yaitu membaca secara saksama teks ‘Singgi’ Tedong’, mengidentifikasi dan mencatat data-data yang dibutuhkan kemudian menerjemahkan teks dari bahasa Toraja ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, teknik wawancara yang mendalam (in-depth interview technique) terhadap tominaa (ahli adat) dan tokoh-tokoh masyarakat lainnya dilakukan untuk memperoleh data yang relevan. Dari 20 teks tuturan, penulis mengambil sampel sebanyak 15 macam tuturan bagian tubuh kerbau yang dipilih dengan menggunakan purposive sampling technique. Data-data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berdasarkan teori semiotika Saussure (1988) untuk menjelaskan penggunaan sistem tanda untuk menghasilkan interpretasi makna. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa bagian-bagian tubuh kerbau dalam Singgi’ Tedong  memiliki simbol yang bermakna metaforis tentang berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia Toraja seperti simbol-simbol tentang kedudukan, fungsi, status, dan lain-lain dari rumpun keluarga yang melaksanakan upacaran Merok.
