Abstract

Soybean is one of the strategic commodities in Indonesia. Soybean became the third most important crop after rice and maize. Leguminose plants are known to have microbial diversity in soils through their root exudates and can have a positive impact on plant growth. The use of rhizobacteria, known as Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), is a bacteria that lives in the root area (rhizospher) and plays an important role in the growth of plants with the ability to form colonies around the roots quickly and can maintain environmental sustainability, one of bacteria rootsis phosphate solubilizing bacteria. This research is conducted to determine the influence of phosphate solubilizing bacteria on the growth and yield of soybean crops. This study used a factorial pattern (RAK) with 3 repetition and 9 treatments. Treatments of Rhizo 09 isolates from undis Rhizosfer here showed the best results.The analysis of sequencing and pyhlogeni shows that Rhizo 09 has close proximity withFlavobakterium johnsoniae from China and having a high similarity (98%) and a small genetic distance (0.003).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis of Local Mikroorganisme Solution Quality Based on Banana Weevil The experiment was conducted at the Soil Science and Environmental Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture Udayana University in November 2014 until January 2015. The purpose of  this research was to determine the effects of  concentration and the length of banana weevil fermentation to the quality of local microorganism solution. The design of this research used a randomized group design with factorial pattern. The first factor was the banana weevil concentration which are consisted of of 3 levels such as 100 g, 200 g, and 300 g. The second factor was the length of fermentation, consisted of two, four and six weeks. Each treatment was repeated three times, so there were 27 trial in total. The observed parameters were : the nature of biological, physical and chemical solution of local microorganism. Physical characteristics including  color and odor, biological properties by counting the total population of bacteria. Chemical properties including pH level, content of organic C, total-N, available-P and C/N ratio. The result of this research showed that the concentration amont and the length of fermentation had no significant effect on the total population of bacteria, pH, content of organic C, total-N, available-P and C/N ratio to the quality of local microorganisms solution. Abstract

Abstrack Cayenne pepper is a horticulture plant (vegetable) where the fruit is used for various food purposes. The decrease of the chilly yields productivity caused by several factors including the use of varieties with low yields and the attack of Plant Pests (OPT). Pests that often attack chili plants are fruit flies. Petrogenol could be used to control this pest.The method used was a randomized block design with 7 treatments and 3 replications by comparing the dose of petrogenol. The results showed that the D3 treatment showed the best parameters in the use of petrogenol doses in controlling fruit fly pests, in the parameters of healthy fruits, damaged fruit, insect catches, and damage intensity. Abstract

The Use of “Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobakteri” on Rice Field Seed Cigeulis and Situbagendit Variety on Growth and Outcome. Rice plant is a very important food crop which is the staple food of more than half of the world's population. Rice plants as a rice producers contain nutrients for the human body needs. Rice cultivation affects the availability of nutrients. PGPR is bacteria which has potentiality to forming colonies around the roots to help provide nutrients for plants, facilitate nutrients absorption for plants, and improving the plants’ production. Rhizobakteri is bacteria in rhizosfer which aggressively forming plants’ roots, and give benefits for plants by spur growth. The aimed of this study is to find out the potentiality of PGPR in improving growth and results of rice production. The experimental design that used was randomized block design, with 4 treatments. Growth and the best result that obtained was on treatment (CGIE), which consist of plant height, number of tillers and grain weight. Keywords: Rice, PGPR, Rice Variety and Production Result

Abstract

Eggplant is a vegetable group that is in great demand by various groups due to its delicious taste and high nutritional content and complete composition. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of eggplant growth and yield to the use of growing media and doses of organic fertilizers. The study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors, namely the planting medium which consisted of 4 levels, namely M0, M1, M2, M3 and the dose of organic fertilizer consisted of 4 levels, namely P0, P1, P2, P3.The results showed that the planting medium affected several parameters, including plant height (M1), number of leaves (M2), number of fruit (M3), and fruit weight (M2). And the organic fertilizer dose treatment significantly affected the parameters of the number of leaves (P2) and the number of fruits (P3).

Abstract

Spinach is one of the green vegetables that are widely developed in several countries. Spinach is also rich in various vitamins and minerals. One way of cultivating spinach can be used with the addition of fertilizers, one of which is urea fertilizer. Urea fertilizer makes plant leaves greener, lusher, and fresher. Superior varieties make a significant contribution to increasing the yield and growth of a plant. The research method used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with a factorial pattern. The interaction between urea fertilizer dose treatment and variety (N x V) had a very significant effect (P < 0.01) on some of the observed parameters. The highest total plant fresh weight was obtained at 1.5 g urea fertilizer dose treatment on red variety (N3V2). of 73.00 g from the lowest yield on the treatment dose of Urea fertilizer with no fertilizer 0 g on the green variety (N0V1), which is 41.67 g.

Abstract

Rosella is a shrub or shrub which is a seasonal plant. The rosella plant has many benefits ranging from stems that can be used as gunny sacks, leaves that can be used as cosmetics and flowers that have various properties. The purpose of this research is to increase knowledge and understanding of the processing of post-harvest horticulture products. Increase understanding of the relationship between theory and its direct application. Data collection techniques through observation, the stage of direct observation in the field regarding all activities starting from seeding, harvesting, processing into herbal medicines to packaging. Implementation, carrying out several Rosella plant cultivation activities directly in the field, especially seeding, planting, watering, maintenance and harvesting. Interview, ask directly to the companion or manager. The results showed that rosella cultivation includes seeding, transplanting seedlings, fertilizing, irrigation, pest and disease control. And harvesting. Post-harvest processing of Rosella to become a processed Herbal Syrup Product through several processes including separation of petals from seeds, washing, boiling and packaging.
