Abstract

In an effort to ensure the quality of conveyor belt products at PT. X, before being sent to consumers, product testing needs to be done. The conveyor belt testing activity has the potential for work accidents to be experienced by the testing operator. To anticipate this, it is necessary to identify hazards and assess risks to Occupational Safety and Health (K3) from all conveyor belt testing activities. The scope of this research is only on conveyor belt testing activities in the testing laboratory section of PT. X. The method used in this Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment is by using the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) method, namely by determining all types of testing activities, their hazards and risks and determining the severity, probability of occurrence, controls carried out, and level of concern. Test operators are sufficiently concerned about the importance of risk hazard control and all testing activities are equipped with controls in the form of the use of Personal Protective Equipment and engineering controls. There are 16 types of hazardz and 12 risks in coveyor belt testing activities. The IBPR value of all conveyor belt testing activities is no more than zero or there is no significant hazard.

Abstract

Masa anak usia dini merupakan masa keemasan atau sering disebut Golden Age. Pada masa ini otak anak mengalami perkembangan paling cepat sepanjang sejarah kehidupannya.. Minat adalah kesadaran yang timbul bahwa objek tertentu sangat disenangi dan melahirkan perhatian yang tinggi bagi individu terhadap objek tersebut. Peningkatankemampuan kognitif anak diakibatan adanya minat anak untuk mengikuti kegitan pembelajaran untuk belajar. . Lalu bagaimana cara meningkatkan minat belajar anak anak usia dini di lingkungan paud barokah..? Metode seperti apa yang dilakukan dalam melaksanakan upaya peningkatan minat belajar di paud barokah…? Dalam kegiatan belajar kami memberikan metode dan cara belajar baru yang nantinya akan menjadi kebiasaan yang akan dilakukan dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini menjadi sangat penting karna anak anak adalah generasi penerus bangsa, anak anak adalah bibit bibit unggulang yang di miliki oleh Negara. Oleh karna itu pendidikan usia disi sangat penting dan memberika cara pembelajaran yang menyenangkan akan membuat anak senang dan nyaman untuk belajar.

Abstract

k Lingkungan merupakan elemen penting bagi manusia untuk menjalankan kehidupannya Tentu dengan kondisi lingkungan yang bersih akan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hidup masyarakat. Lokasi pengolahan sampah bakar yang tidak teratur dapat mencemarkan lingkungan sekitar pembakaran dengan banyaknya limbah hasil pembakaran sampah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menyediakan tempat atau wadah yang digunakan masyarakat untuk melakukan pembakaran sampah di kp. Legokbatu Dusun Cikiwul Desa Ridogalih. Agar limbah sampah bakar tidak mengotori lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2022 yang melibatkan mahasiswa dan masyarakat setempat. Setelah diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan lingkungan yang berada di Desa Ridogalih semakin bersih dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan semakin tinggi.

Abstract

This study discusses the suspension on motorcycles by changing the standard suspension system, namely spring suspension / Coil Spring by designing an air suspension system to be applied to the Honda Vario 110 motorcycle. There are several problems with the suspension of spring-type motorcycles, namely when adjusting the suspension and the level of comfort. The purpose of this study is toknow the construction design, design and know the ratio of damping values pthere is an air suspension system and coil spring applied to the initial design of the motorcycle. The design and simulation method carried out is using Autodesk Inventor 2020 Software. In this design process, there are additions to the construction, namely the holder for the suspension as an air suspension support and changes to the size of the engine mounting which is extended to increase the suspension water storage space. As a result of the Autodesk Inventor 2020 simulation, the Air Suspension made of rubber with a load of 300 kg with a damping value of 7,744 N/m is greater than the initial suspension made of steel wire spring (SW) with a value of 7,500 N/m.

Abstract

The inner tube determines the effectiveness and efficiency of a commercial transportation vehicle, where the inner tube is expected to have high durability against friction with the outer tire and to have high tensile stress when holding a heavy load. To answer this condition, the process of adding natural rubber material to the inner tube was carried out using the pressure method with 2 variables, namely one layer of inner tube and one layer of natural rubber which was affixed to the outer side of the inner tube, as well as one inner tube with two layers of natural rubber located on the side outside and inside on the inner tube. Then the testing process is carried out, namely tensile brake and hardness to obtain data to determine the effect of adding natural rubber to the inner tube using the pressure method as one of the references for producing better inner tubes. After the research process was carried out, the results of the tensile brake test were 20.4 Kgf on the first specimen, 23.8 Kgf on the second specimen, 31.05 on the third specimen. Furthermore, from the hardness test, a result was obtained, namely 52° on the first specimen, 48° on the second specimen, 44° on the third specimen.

Abstract

Nut and bolt components (fasteners) can be produced through various techniques, including through the forging process. However, in a cold forging process (cold forming) the production of nuts cannot be separated from failures, in the form of defects in cracks on the surface. This failure has an impact on productivity, besides that it can hamper other processes. In this study, the crack defects of SWCH45K carbon steel M14 nuts could be identified visually during inspection. In order to find out the cause of the failure, an analysis was carried out by simulating the cold forming process for the M14 nut according to the existing process variable data using the DEFORM 2D/3D V10.2 program. The simulation results show that the formation at stations 3 and 4 does not fully fill the mold (dies) and high damage to the bearing surface (flange) area, crack defects are caused by high concentrations of stress in the process of forming station 3 because the punch corner does not have a radius (rounding). With the design punch parameters proposed for process improvement, the simulation results for the formation of M14 station 3 and 4 nuts are fully filled, the potential for crack defects decreases.

Abstract

Banyak komposit serat alam yang sering dipelajari di era ini karena sifat ramah lingkungan dari bahan yang dimiliki. Salah satu serat alam yang memiliki kekuatan tinggi adalah Bambu Betung (Dendrocalamus esper). Bahan ini berlimpah di wilayah Indonesia dan sifat materialnya dapat ditingkatkan dengan memodifikasinya dengan perlakuan kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan kimia KMnO4 terhadap pembuatan komposit Bambu Betung. Metode pembuatan yang digunakan adalah metode hand lay-up dengan pengujian yang dilakukan menggunakan pengujian tarik, pengujian bending, pengujian densitas dan pengamatan makrostruktur. Dari hasil densitas didapatkan densitas tertinggi terjadi pada kadar KMnO4 7% yaitu 1,1526 gr/cm3 dan 1,1501 gr/cm3 pada waktu perendaman 30 menit. Dari hasil uji tarik, konsentrasi 5% menghasilkan kuat tarik dan modulus tertinggi yaitu 30,86 MPa dan 2,42 GPa, sedangkan untuk variabel waktu perendaman kekuatan tarik relatif sama antara waktu perendaman 15 menit dan 30 menit. Modulus tertinggi diperoleh KMnO4 dari proses perendaman selama 15 menit. Dari hasil pengujian lentur, kekuatan lentur dan modulus tertinggi diperoleh pada kadar KMnO4 5% dan lama perendaman 15 menit yaitu 67,27 MPa, dan 2595 MPa. Berdasarkan pengamatan makrostruktur, ditemukan bahwa sesar yang terjadi dengan perlakuan KMnO4 mengalami oberload, sedangkan yang tanpa perlakuan mengalami patahan fiber pull-out.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang pelibatan masyarakat dalam proses Program Perenovasian infrastruktur Perdesaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta data dan informasi yang diperoleh dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran pada kegiatan-kegiatan serupa di masa yang akan datang. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk merenovasi MCK masjid yang umumnya digunakan oleh masyarakat disekitaran kp. Legokbatu Dusun Cikiwul Desa Ridhogalih. Hasil menunjukan bahwa renovasi MCK Masjid pada umumnya hanya berpengaruh pada perubahan stuktur permukaan dan bukan pada stuktur dalam sehingga tidak mengubah maknanya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2022 yang melibatkan mahasiswa dan masyarakat setempat. Setelah diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan renovasi MCK Masjid yang berada di Desa Ridhogalih bisa berdampak positif dan bisa dipergunakan dengan semestinya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of print speed and nozzle temperature variations on the tensile strength of TPU-95A material printed using the fused deposition modeling (FDM) method. The varied parameters include print speeds (70, 80, and 90 mm/s) and nozzle temperatures (230 and 240 °C). Tensile test specimens were produced using an Ender-3 Pro 3D printer according to the JIS K6251-2017 standard and tested with a Shimadzu AGS-X 10kN tensile testing machine. The results showed that the combination of a 90 mm/s print speed and a 230 °C nozzle temperature yielded the highest tensile strength of 318.74 kgf/cm². Conversely, the lowest tensile strength of 212.20 kgf/cm² occurred at a 90 mm/s print speed and a 240 °C nozzle temperature due to thermal degradation of the material. This study highlights the importance of selecting optimal printing parameters to enhance the mechanical strength of 3D-printed products made from TPU-95A.

Abstract

The effect of print speed and layer height settings can influence the mechanical properties of 3D-printed products; however, the impact of print speed and layer height on the hardness of products printed with TPU-95A filament has not been extensively studied. This research employs an experimental method by creating specimens according to ASTM D2240 standards, using various print speed settings (70, 80, and 90 mm/s) and layer heights (0.15 and 0.20 mm). The results show that a combination of lower print speeds and thinner layer heights yields higher hardness test results. A print speed of 90 mm/s and a layer height of 0.15 mm produced the highest hardness, while the combination of 90 mm/s print speed and 0.2 mm layer height resulted in the lowest hardness. This study contributes to the optimization of 3D printing parameters for flexible material applications, such as TPU-95A, in relation to product hardness outcomes.
