Abstract

This study aims to see and analyze the increase in Student Activity and Learning Outcomes in Mathematics Learning Fraction Multiplication Subjects in Class V SDN 07 Sarilamak. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research method which consists of two cycles, where each cycle consists of; planning, action, observation and reflection. It was conducted from August to October 2020. The data was processed in each cycle and then analyzed using percentages. The results obtained from this study are that using a scientific approach problem-based learning model can improve student learning activities and results. This is evident from the increase in learning activities of pre-cycle students is 49, cycle I student learning activity = 57%, and cycle II = 85%. For knowledge learning completeness increased from pre-cycle 67.07 = 42%, cycle I 73.19 = 58%, and cycle II 85.80 = 92%. For skill learning completeness, the pre-class 66.80 = 46%, cycle I 73.84 = 62%, and cycle II 83.30 = 88%. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the use of a scientific approach problem-based learning model can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to improve history learning outcomes in class XI IPA2 MAN I Merangin students by using the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type learning model. The subjects of the study were students of class XI IPA2 which amounted to 32 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through tests, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed that the application of TGT learning model can improve the learning outcomes of history in class XI IPA2 MAN I Merangin. In cycle I, the average score of the history test increased from 69.71 to 75.44 with an average learning completeness of 70.6%. In cycle II, the average score of the history test increased to 81.62 with an average learning completeness of 88.24%. In addition, there was an increase in student learning activities and motivation as well as an increase in social skills through cooperation in groups. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the TGT learning model is effective for improving history learning outcomes in class XI IPA2 MAN I Merangin. Therefore, it is recommended for history teachers to use the TGT learning model in the learning process to improve student learning outcomes. In addition, this research can also be used as a reference for future researchers who want to conduct research on the use of TGT learning models in other subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to see and analyze the use of the Discovery Learning Model of the Task Giving Method to improve the Activities and Learning Outcomes of Students in Mathematics Learning Content on the Volume of Spaces in Class VI Odd Semester of SDN 07 Sarilamak for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research method which consists of two cycles, where each cycle consists of; planning, action, observation and reflection. It was carried out from August to October 2021. The results obtained from this study are that by using a scientific approach, the discovery learning model, the method of giving assignments can improve students' learning activities and results. This is evident from the increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, pre-cycle student learning activities are 61%, in cycle I 78% and cycle II 95%. For pre-cycle teacher activities 50%, cycle I 57% and increased in cycle II to 85% and for pre-cycle knowledge learning outcomes 67.07 = 40%, cycle I 73.35 = 54%, and cycle II 85.89 = 93%. For the learning completeness of skills, namely pre-cycle 66.82 = 43%, cycle I 73.84 = 62%, and cycle II 84.64 = 89%.The conclusion obtained from this research is that the use of a scientific approach discovery learning model method of giving assignments can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students.
