Abstract

Purpose: Cervical cancer is one of the most common types of cancer that kills women worldwide. One way for early detection of cervical cancer risk is by looking at human behavior determinants. Detection of cervical cancer based on behavior determinants has been researched before using Naïve Bayes and Logistic Regression but has never using ADALINE Neural Network. Methods: In this paper, ADALINE proposes to detect early cervical cancer based on the behavior on the UCI dataset. The data used are 72 data, consisting of 21 cervical cancer patients and 51 non-cervical cancer patients. The dataset is divided 70% for training data and 30% for testing data. The learning parameters used are maximum epoch, learning rate, and MSE. Result: MSE generated from ADALINE training process is 0.02 using a learning rate of 0.006 with a maximum epoch of 19. Twenty-two test data obtained an accuracy of 95.5%, and overall data got an accuracy value of 97.2%. Novelty: One alternative method for early detection of cervical cancer based on behavior is ADALINE Neural Network.

Abstract

Determination of recipients of the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT) is a matter that causes problems if it is not carried out in an objective, transparent, and targeted manner. Previous studies on BPNT were based on a specific method, which did not use a negative trend in the criteria. In this study, the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach was used to recommend the recipients of the BPNT program. Two MCDM models were used in this study, COPRAS and CODAS methods. Spearman's rank correlation method was used to determine the best model and measure the degree of similarity between the results obtained from different models. Spearman rank correlation shows that COPRAS and CODAS have a strong positive correlation of 0.89899. The combined COPRAS-CODAS ranking model produces a very strong positive correlation value of 0.9744 for both methods, so the model is used for recommendations for BPNT program recipients.

Abstract

Bantuan Langsung Tunai Dana Desa (BLT-DD), or known as Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance is assistance from the Indonesian government which causes problems and conflicts in the community when the assistance is not on target. The classification algorithm is proven to use in determining BLT-DD recipients. In this study, the radial basis function (RBF) and elman recurrent neural network (ERNN) models compare to classify the eligibility of BLTDD recipients. In the experiment, the optimal performance of the RBF and ERNN compare in determining the eligibility of BLT-DD recipients. Also, it’s compared with the classification algorithm that implements the same data, namely BLT-DD data for Kubu Raya District. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the RBF model in recognizing test data, while the ERNN model is effective in identifying test data. The RBF and ERNN models can achieve the same total accuracy of 98.10%.

Abstract

Utilizing technology in cultural and locally-influenced performing arts alters the conventional understanding of aesthetic experiences in live performances. It includes redefining the dynamics between performers and audiences, the impact of sound and ambience, dance and visual elements, collaboration among artists, cultural aspects, environmental factors, and temporal considerations. Furthermore, digital technology has emerged as a novel means in the performing arts realm, streamlining the artistic creation process. Currently, the field of performing arts is significantly influencing the swift advancement of digital technology. This research methodology employs a qualitative approach by utilizing internet literature and conducting literature studies. The outcome of this study indicates that digital technology facilitates the comprehension of artistic performances rooted in local culture and knowledge by both the general audience and the current youth population. The intersection between technology, local wisdom, and performing arts is evident due to the transferability of local wisdom throughout generations and the continuous development of technology over time. Digital technology has broadened the scope of creativity, pushed the limits of artistic expression, and safeguarded traditional local knowledge.

Abstract

This study explores the intricate structure of "Time", a piece in Hans Zimmer's. The study aims to analyze the complex layers of "Time" and its influence on the overall impression of the picture. The primary study question investigates how the structural components of the composition, such as its recurring motifs, slow progression, and emotional climaxes, correspond to and amplify the movie's examination of time and reality. The process entails a qualitative analysis utilizing a literature review and an observational assessment of the film's audio-visual synchronization. By analyzing scholarly publications and conducting a literature study, the research reveals how Zimmer's minimalist approach and his inventive utilization of electronic sounds produce a distinctive auditory encounter that reflects the film's themes. Examining pivotal scenes that prominently display the concept of "Time" allows us to understand the intentional decisions made in the composition and execution of the music. The research findings indicate that the intricate composition of "Time" greatly amplifies the viewer's sense of being fully engaged in the film. The changing dynamics and recurring patterns of the piece not only mirror the emotional progress of the characters but also act as a guiding force for the viewer, helping them navigate through the complex storyline of the film. The emotional trajectory depicted in "Time"—evolving from a state of tension and confusion to one of resolution and hope—mirrors the thematic trajectory of the film, emphasizing its crucial function as an integral element in the narrative process. This analysis illustrates that the popularity of "Inception" is not exclusively attributed to its visual and narrative originality but is equally ascribed to its refined utilization of music. "Time" demonstrates how film music may significantly impact the audience's emotional and intellectual involvement, solidifying its position as a significant piece in modern cinema.

Abstract

Abstract

Music and architecture are part of the arts, which are artistic and natural human expressions. A work of art cannot be separated from several internal or external influences. Influences that come from outside or external factors include humans, space and time. Music and architecture influence both, and the connections and aspects between the two are things that certainly have a relationship. Music and architecture have similarities in that both have rules that work in harmony—sensitivity to aesthetic principles: harmony, rhythm, balance, and emphasis. The psychological impression of colour, materials and construction also complements the realization of a complete and integral design. Music can be visualized in other forms of art, namely architecture, a field of art with a wide range of scientific fields. This article will examine the relationship between the art of music and other arts, namely architecture, including its interrelated elements and a description and analysis of the transformation of music into architectural form in Villa Isola Bandung. The discussion of this problem will use a descriptive method with a deductive approach, namely taking a case study and analyzing it in general, specifically related to theories related to music and architecture.
